Partou Love Being Little Day Nursery & Pre-school in Stoke Gifford is a fantastic nursery and pre-school for children from birth to five years.

The small and homely nursery has been designed to be cosy yet stimulating, providing a wonderful learning environment for children. Children play in an exciting outdoor area every day and have regular access to an allotment, where they grow vegetables for their meals.

The nursery provides a wide variety of fun educational experiences led by qualified teachers and childcare practitioners. The highly-qualified team prepare children for primary school using Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines.

Love Being Little's educators put a strong emphasis on learning through play and tailor activities to children's individual interests and needs. Staff have paediatric first aid and safeguarding training and all have undergone enhanced DBS checks.

Children at the nursery enjoy a varied seasonal menu filled with fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables – which can be altered to suit any special dietary requirements.

I was apprehensive about my little boy starting nursery at ten months but he settled in so well at Abbeywood Tots. The staff have always been friendly and open with us and warm and caring towards our son.
From our perspective, the staff have supported his learning and language and he is always happy
to go to nursery.

The staff are amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable. My child loves going to nursery and has really come out of her shell through playing and learning with other children her age.
The facilities are brilliant and everything is kept clean and tidy.
The food is nutritious and the portions are just
the right size with extras available when little ones are feeling hungry.
The activities are educational and fun.

The staff at the nursery are very friendly and have an invested interest in watching your child grow up and progress. Overall the nursery provides a good balance of care and play and my son loves going there. Things they do well are:
Providing a dinner so there is no rush after work.
Opportunities
for outdoor play.
Updates on child's day in books.
Hours covered.
Separate nap and eating areas.
Things that could be improved:
Pictures of activities.
Number of staff members around.
Range of food. Always seems to be pasta, sandwiches and wraps.
More messy play opportunities.
