Partou Love Being Little Day Nursery & Pre-school in Stoke Gifford is a fantastic nursery and pre-school for children from birth to five years.

The small and homely nursery has been designed to be cosy yet stimulating, providing a wonderful learning environment for children. Children play in an exciting outdoor area every day and have regular access to an allotment, where they grow vegetables for their meals.

The nursery provides a wide variety of fun educational experiences led by qualified teachers and childcare practitioners. The highly-qualified team prepare children for primary school using Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines.

Love Being Little's educators put a strong emphasis on learning through play and tailor activities to children's individual interests and needs. Staff have paediatric first aid and safeguarding training and all have undergone enhanced DBS checks.

Children at the nursery enjoy a varied seasonal menu filled with fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables – which can be altered to suit any special dietary requirements.

My son has a great time and is looked after. They're very kind there and he really enjoys going and taking pictures and also going out on walks with the staff. I'd definitely recommend this nursery.

Extremely happy with the nursery. Although my son has struggled at the beginning over time he has grown so much thanks to the help and guidance of the nursery team. They've really got to know him which means the world. Always updates the app and informs us of how he has got on each session.

The staff are amazing. They are always polite and friendly and always available if you need to talk.
My daughter loves attending and always runs in happily to play with her friends.
My daughter has allergies and they have been brilliant in accommodating that.

My boy started nursery when he was 7 days to 7 months old. I was really nervous initially about the idea of leaving him to the nursery at such a young age. Luckily he settled in really well. Within the first week, he started to get engaged with the activities happening at the nursery and drink his milk
really well. The staff are all very caring and paying their full attention to the kids. The app they used also has good records of daily activities they do and I love to see the pictures of my little one enjoying all the fun games they play. Every day when we picked up him the staff would let us know about his progress and their observations on him. My boy did not want to leave when we picked him up! He also started to make friends with other kids within the first few weeks! We were so touched when one day another boy came to hug my boy and said he loved him. I would definitely recommend this place.

I recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a small, family-friendly setting.
My son has learnt so much from his two days a week at nursery.
He has been there since he was 9 months old and I feel like he has been well looked after and cared for by the lovely staff.

My little one started nursery when she was 9 months old, I was extremely nervous about leaving her for the first time as she is my first child and has never been left with anyone but myself. However Love Being Little made the transition so easy, we felt so welcome into their little nursery family. The
staff regularly checked in with me throughout the day, and my little one settled and created strong bonds with all the staff. They communicate well, and I love their new app that has daily updates of how she has been and pictures of what she has been up to. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, the staff and the nursery manager are absolutely incredible and are an asset to the team.

Fantastic nursery, the staff are amazing and do a great job with the children they care for. My little one joined in July 2022 when his previous nursery closed. He settled in so well and I truly believe this was down to the support of all the staff. They went above and beyond. He really enjoyed going
and came on leaps and bounds with his language and communication, and they really helped get him ready for his next chapter..school. Will definitely be sending my 2nd child here too.

Terrible experience. Pulled up in the car to hear my child screaming from the window. When I walked in there was one manager with about 12 children, my boy was in the corner. Upon checking him in the car he had cut his finger and no one had seen/attended to him. The Head Office found nothing on CCTV
and apparently there was a staff member hiding somewhere. My child would come back clean i.e. no messy play, painting. Was asked by a worker what his name was and hours for that day. My boy was crying his eyes out upon drop off for weeks. He is in a new nursery now and settled within 2 weeks, he’s excited to go. Don’t send your child here!

I wouldn’t recommend this nursery with the new manager that has started. Some staff are great. Safeguarding with the new manager - unacceptable.
My child got kicked in the face, he told me when I went into the nursery so the manager heard. Didn’t notice the blood all around his nose or on his sleeve.
Didn’t care, just said let us know next time.
Head office didn’t care, checked CCTV, and said they couldn’t see anything. Most probably because they didn’t have the cameras where it happened nor was anyone watching the group of children around the corner in the garden so anything could have happened to any of them.

My daughter has definitely enjoyed her time at the nursery and often mentions how she likes the staff there. Although English is not her first language, it has been great to see her making improvements and participating in the wide range of activities at the nursery. It's apparent that she has been

My daughter has been attending Love Being little for the last seven months (now sixteen months) and she absolutely loves the staff and nursery.
I always have peace of mind that she is being looked after.

Friendly and helpful staff, healthy snacks and lots of toys and activities. I can tell they are always engaging with the children because my daughter always comes out chatting about everything and they tell me about conversations and things that they’ve had during the day.
My daughter is very high-energy,
as well as curious (likes to draw on walls, break things to see how they work etc) and I know she can wear anyone out, but the staff are so sweet and patient and always ready to deal with anything. I also like that it’s a big enough space to play in whilst still feeling cosy and like an actual home. We really like this nursery.

I can honestly say that choosing Love Being Little Private Nursery was the correct choice for me and my daughter.
The staff are friendly and approachable to any request specific to my daughter's needs.
The staff are friendly and caring, they all have taken the time to build a trusting relationship
with my daughter and me.
Really appreciate the time the staff take to complete activities that both stimulate my daughter's interaction and engagement with others.
There’s a great emphasis on fun and educational activities.
I have seen my daughter grow in confidence and development in herself.
I am not with my daughter throughout the day but when I collect her, I see the big smile on her face and hear the updates I know she has had a great day.

Love Being Little Day Nursery and Pre-School in Stoke Gifford is an excellent place. The menu is well-selected food providing great nutrition. The activities are fun and same time encourage to learn. Nursery staff are caring and kind. And most importantly my son loves to be there.

It is a great place to take your child. It is like a big family. They always understand your childcare needs and try to accommodate you. My little one is always happy, she loves to go there. The staff are always cheerful and very friendly. They always organise very nice activities and your child will
be in a great environment to learn. I first took my girl to a childminder who was not always as reliable as I would expect. I could not believe how important was for me to know that they are always there when I need them.

Adorable little nursery school, warm, friendly and helpful staff with a cozy and safe atmosphere. My daughter gets “nursery school sick” (like home-sick but the other way around) because she loves it and misses it so much when she’s at home.
We haven’t been going here for very long yet but we love
it already, I would definitely recommend it.
