Spring Milecross Nursery is a childcare service located in Norwich, Norfolk.

They offer 64 Ofsted-registered places and were assessed as 'Good' by Ofsted in May 2019. A committed, friendly and well-qualified nursery team provides high-quality care and learning opportunities for children aged between three months to five years.

They offer a home from home environment to help your little ones discover the world around them, using a range of natural resources and loose parts.

The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a focus on learning through play and actively encourages parents to become involved in the life of the nursery.

Spring Milecross is open from 8.00-6.00pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays and three staff training days.

Since entering Milecross nursery, my child did develop significantly. Her speech is so much better now. I'm deeply grateful to all staff for their excellent work and support throughout these months. The staff cared for my daughter with all the compassion and professionalism needed.

My son has been going to Spring for roughly ten months now and he loves it. The facilities are great, including the outside space, it is small, but they have made the most of the space. The app is great for keeping up to date with events, the lovely recipes and your childs development. There is a fantastic
range of activities and toys etc. The staff are brilliant, very approachable and obviously have a passion for what they do. It is a shame that the funding doesn't cover the cost of the food as this does add to financial strain for some.

Spring Nursery have made my son feel extremely welcome from his first day and he has settled really quickly. My son even had a short break from the nursery and returned back without it bothering him because he always has such a great time at Spring and is always cared for by the same staff that he knows
really well, providing continuity. He absolutely loves his time at Spring and chats about the nursery all the time, telling me about what he does. The staff are really accommodating to the child's needs, with toilet training support and during nap time etc. My son will be very sad to leave Spring Nursery and I would definitely recommend it if anyone asked for feedback. Thanks for giving my son great opportunities and lots of fun during his time at the Nursery.

My daughter has attended a few short sessions to 'settle in'. So far she has had a great time and when I leave her I know that she is in good hands. She all smiles when I pick her up.
I have no reservations about leaving her on her first full day of nursery. The staff are also really lovely.

I have two children at this nursery - a one-year-old and a four-year-old, who has been there since 9 months of age. Both children are very settled and happy. The staff are brilliant and feel like an extension of the family as they are very caring and invested in the children. We will be very sad when
our oldest finishes.

I can't fault this nursery. I love how they keep me up to date with everything they're doing with my daughter, the way they encourage her to do things. The staff are very pleasant, my daughter talks about them all the time, she can't wait to go each day. I also love the app, so I can see what she's

Both my children have been at this nursery from the age of nine months. We looked at many different nurseries the first time around but none of them compared to Spring. All the nursery nurses are lovely and kind and made me feel at ease leaving my babies there whilst I went back to work. My eldest daughter
has just finished at the preschool and gone up to big school but Spring have done such a great job in helping get her ready for school. If anyone is looking for a nursery/preschool I would definitely recommend Spring.

When I was thinking of sending my child to Spring I was told not very good things, but I thought I would make my own opinion and I’m so glad I did as it’s a lovely little nursery! My son loves it and is always excited to go and talks about it when he’s not there! The ladies are all lovely and I feel
he is well looked after. I have no worries at all while he is in their care! I was a little worried about him eating the food at first as it took him a little while to try new things but now he does and it has helped him to try new things at home also ??

All of my children have attended this nursery and they all loved it. The nursery is well led, nurturing and supportive. The staff are all incredibly friendly. My youngest son is currently in Poppy Room and absolutely loves it, he adores his key worker- who is excellent and sends us lots of updates on
his progress. He has made some lovely friendships as well during his time there. My stepdaughter is in her last few months of Bluebell room and she has a great time every day and really enjoys all the activities.
All 4 of our children have come on leaps and bounds during their time there and this is down to the wonderful atmosphere and great staff.
I will also say the cook provides fantastic food for the children and they always eat well.
The nursery is no longer “local” to us, but I wouldn’t consider anywhere else, the children love it and I believe it’s an excellent nursery where the children are well cared for and they learn so much.

My child has been attending spring since he was 9months, he will be leaving in July to attend school in September.
My child has come on leaps with the support of the staff and is ready for the next stage of his education.

I was really surprised by this Nursery in a good way. The way they are with my little one is lovely they form amazing relationships with her and she has developed so much more I can see the difference in development compared to my firstborn who was placed at a childminder.
The Daisy room is lovely
the staff are great and are always willing to help out.


The only main let down to this is the fact they charge for Bank Holidays and when they shut down for training I feel like this lets them down especially if your child attends Nursery on a Monday I feel as though we shouldn't get charged for Bank Holidays like other childcare providers.

Spring Nursery Milecross is the most amazing nursery in the area. The staff are welcoming and friendly. My daughter has been here since she was 18 months. She is now 4.5 and has loved it from the start and I have never had any concerns about her attending this nursery. The communication from staff is regular, relevant and detailed, the staff are friendly and professional and each day she is there seems
full and active. The resources are good and the children all seem to get on very well and the food is excellent. The hours are great for full-time working parents/guardians and overall I'd say that it's great value for money.

My oldest went here between the ages of 2-4 and my youngest has now been there for a year. I have never had any concerns or worries. My children have always been happy here. Staff have always been lovely. Always helping as and where they can.
