I have used this nursery for both my children and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The set-up has such a lovely feel, the rooms are spacious and great outdoor space for the children in each class.
I have always liked the range in ages of the staff so you get levels of experience with those perhaps new to
their career.
The staff are amazing, caring, kind, fun, with both children noticed their development in so many ways as they spent time at busy bees.
Even before the pandemic I was always impressed with the level of hygiene and this has never changed going through it, I have never had any concerns.
I love the fact my children get home-cooked food and get to experience lots of new things that I may not even think to cook at home.
There’s always fun things organised for the children and dress-up days etc
I found the nursery really was the best start I could have chosen and made it incredibly easy for my eldest to transition into school life. What more can you ask for!?

My daughter has been at this nursery for almost 4 years and has always been happy there. She enjoys going to nursery and loves the staff and meeting with her friends. The nursery staff provide great care to my child when she is there. She always leaves with a smile on her face and as a parent, I feel as though the staff take great care of her physically and emotionally. Every member of staff is extremely conscientious and both my girls absolutely love Busy Bees. My eldest always talks about her keyworkers with great fondness so when I leave her, I know she’s somewhere she wants to be.

I was very nervous about putting my daughter in the nursery at a young age and going back to work and visited a few though I knew straight away with busy bees it was a calm, friendly, professional atmosphere. They asked all the right questions and had the facilities to cater for younger children which
made me feel at ease. She has been there ever since and even with the difficulties we are all experiencing, I still feel relaxed dropping her off as they have always been so helpful and supportive of her growth. I love getting updates direct to phone even though they can be quite delayed at times, though you are always updated on her day on collection. Would highly recommend.

We absolutely love Busy Bees in Great Yarmouth. All my kids have passed through this nursery and currently, I have twins here who look forward to every visit. The staff are very personable, they pay attention to each individual and their interests, they also make great effort to have a rapport with
the parents and even call me by name not just Mum. If you are a concerned Mum, you have access to what your child is up to during the day. This is just a great place to take your kids, they have fun, great food, they care and are just brilliant with children.

Very friendly - lots of activities. Both my children have thrived here. It's pricey but worth it as it really helps gain the children's confidence. Good food and good opening times. I would definitely recommend it.

My son started Busy Bees when he was just over one and his confidence has grown ever since being here. His manners have improved, his speech is a lot stronger since coming out of lockdown. The nursery is clean and rooms are spacious and filled with lots of educational toys. The outdoor areas are fun
and safe also. My son loves coming to nursery, he loves all the staff and is treated with exceptional love and care while at nursery. I couldn't ask for more of this nursery. He is well looked after and I'm updated with all information when I pick him up, his daily activities, what he's eaten and what he's been learning about. I thoroughly recommend Busy Bees. I was so nervous about him going to nursery when he was so young and now I have no worries at all.

Busy Bees have been amazing with my daughter. Since being at this setting she has become very confident with speech and other children. She has excelled in many different aspects and it is all thanks to the wonderful staff at Busy Bees. Nothing is ever too much trouble and no query is treated as silly
by the staff. The manager is a wonderful lady herself and a brilliant manager with a fantastic team. I can’t recommend this nursery enough.

The admin people are a bit abrupt, except for one, who goes the extra mile in order to help.
The ladies in the rooms are wonderful, especially the key persons my child has had.
The chef is caring and shows commitment to the children’s nutritional needs.

Both key workers have been very good with my daughter. I find the rooms can be hot when I pick her up though. Lots of activities going on in the classroom. The mobile app is also really beneficial for an insight into my daughter's development.

I feel the care my child gets when at the nursery is excellent. The staff are friendly, they get time to know each child and understand their likes and dislikes. They ensure the days are different and informative. The food supplied is great and my child never leaves anything, if anything it made them
a good eater and prepared to try new foods.
The only thing I find could be communicated better is when collecting my child I'm never 100% sure which room they are in.

My daughter loves attending nursery and we have seen big leaps in her development in just a few months. The staff are lovely - very friendly as well as professional, and I really feel like they know my daughter and how she is progressing. Daily comments on how she has been getting on are provided verbally
and in writing by the staff members caring for her.


The children are provided with a range of learning opportunities, from painting to cooking, and there are a good variety of toys and activities for them to engage in to aid their development, including a recently remodelled outdoor play area complete with play tunnel, mud kitchen and ride-on toys.


All meals are prepared on site and the menus are planned to ensure they are nutritionally balanced and also include seasonal produce, as well as a variety of tastes and textures. If you have to drop your child in early in the morning (as we do) breakfast is available and healthy snacks are also provided in addition to lunch and dinner.

Our little girl started at Busy Bees Great Yarmouth in January 2018. She was only 9 months old and we were really worried about leaving her so young for three days a week, especially when the settling in sessions went so badly. I had considered not going back to work as she was extremely upset every
time I left her. The staff at Busy Bees were amazing, they supported me and helped me feel reassured that our little girl would be fine. Working together with her key worker and a few other members of staff, our little girl soon settled into her new routine. Within a month's time, she was loving every minute of nursery. All the staff are so friendly, caring and truly love being with the children that I have no worries when I leave our little girl in the mornings and I know she has had a good time when I pick her up in the evenings. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a local nursery.

My son has been going to Busy Bees at Great Yarmouth (based at the James Paget hospital) since July 2016. He attends two days a week and started when he was just over one, he is now nearly three years old.


I highly recommend this nursery, the staff are kind, caring and enthusiastic. It is a small

enough nursery for the staff to get to know your child by name and they warmly welcome him each time he arrives.


The feedback you receive about your child's progress is wonderful and despite my initial nervousness at leaving my son at nursery, I think it has helped him developmentally and given him different types of experiences to those he gets at home with me. It helps that each child is assigned a key worker, who the child develops a trusting relationship with and takes a keen interest in your child's interests.


The food provided is freshly prepared onsite daily, which was important to me.


A brilliant professional nursery, very highly recommended.

I have a BA Hons in Childhood Studies and have worked in nurseries since 2019 and have progressed from an apprentice to ACD. I have previously been the room leader for babies and toddlers but have also spent a lot of time with the other age groups. My favourite thing about my job is being able to be a part of children’s lives, providing them with a safe and happy environment, and being able to watch them thrive as they develop new skills.
