My son is very happy at this nursery. The staff are lovely and fantastic with my son. They are also very understanding if I ever have any concerns. The food is great, and he always seems to eat very well. I would definitely recommend this nursery.
My son is very happy at this nursery and we would definitely recommend to others. All the staff are very knowledgable and caring.
My little boy has attended for 2 years now. He was 6 months old when he started. I have since recommended to several friends whose children now attend. It’s an absolute delight and he loves every minute he spends there. He has made tight bonds with both staff and children and talks about it all the time. He is such a bright child and I’m surprised by him every day - this is down to the excellent care they provide.
I would highly recommend Chestnut at St Giles in Norwich. The management is very approachable and helpful. All the staff are very friendly and caring for the children. We are very happy to leave our kids with them.
My daughter has been attending Chestnut Boutique Nursery School @ St Giles for a year now and has enjoyed every day. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and my daughter's key person has a very nurturing relationship with her which is lovely to see. I love being kept informed on how she is progressing and seeing photos of her enjoying her day via Parent Zone.
As a working mum. I have found Chestnut Boutique Nursery School @ St Giles opening hours are perfect. Chestnut helped my child settle in very well. I was first impressed by the child-friendly approach in arranging settling in hours. After starting, I was informed every time when I picked up by a briefing from staff so that I know how my child is doing there. The nursery also tried hard to accommodate our needs. They stick to their policies regarding children's health and sickness leave. My child enjoyed his attending the nursery and has developed in singing, small storytelling and numbers.
The manager has always been extremely proactive and efficient in regards to helping me with all of my queries and is great with the kids too.
The staff are all just fabulous. I can’t fault any of them. They’re all brilliant with my daughter and clearly have her and her peer's very best interests at the centre of everything they do.
My daughter is starting school in September 2018 and I know that she will deeply miss Chestnut Nursery Saint Giles and all that comes with it. There is nobody better at looking after your children other than yourself, close family & friends, but these guys are the next best thing. If you’re considering this nursery for your child, I would 110% recommend it.

My name is Hayley, and I am the Manager at Chestnut Nursery School St Giles. I have been working in childcare since I left college where I earned my Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce, studying the development of children aged 0-19. I started working as a childcare practitioner at St Giles Nursery in 2014, which became Chestnut Nursery School St Giles in 2015. I progressed to Room Leader and travelled around the age ranges in this role. From there I became the Senior Lead Practitioner, and Deputy Manager and finally progressed to Manager in 2020.
I wanted to work with children since I was a child myself, so I am honoured to have such an important role in childcare now. As the Manager of St Giles, I enjoy being involved in the planning of activities and rooms to ensure children are provided with a stimulating environment for them to learn and flourish. I believe giving children the best start to early years will help them to reach their full potential and scaffold their learning ready for school. I have two young children of my own, this helps me relate to our families and understand the importance of taking extra special care of each and every child in our setting
