Chestnut Nursery School @ St Giles is a lovely nursery. Our child has been there 2 and a half years, and we've had a really positive experience. The staff are warm and friendly, and show a genuine interest in the children and their well being. They have a gentle Montessori and child-led approach to their care and curriculum. The key workers throughout the years/rooms have always been brilliant at helping our child feel at ease, and have formed lovely bonds. They do have a small outdoor space, but utilise it really effectively and our child loves it. Staff communication is really good, both in-person and via the app/emails. We would recommend St Giles to anyone considering it.

My little girl has been going to this nursery since she was 11 months old. I am really happy with this nursery and all the staff. If there is something, they always help. She has learned a lot here. Thank you.

Chestnut Nursery St Giles is such a wonderful nursery! The staff are so welcoming, friendly and always go the extra mile to make sure that your little one is well looked after. From the very first settle-in sessions, you are made to feel valued as a parent. The staff always listen to any questions or queries that you may have. Our child has settled into nursery well and the key worker is brilliant - she keeps me updated on the day to day activities (through the parent app) and is always there to give a cuddle and some reassurance to our child if needed throughout the day. This really helps us feel at ease and happy that our little one is being well looked after. I’d thoroughly recommend this nursery to anyone with children!

Lovely, supportive nursery, great food and good communication home. Outdoor space is more limited compared to some other nurseries due to their city centre location but they use the space they do have very effectively and the children love it!

Both of my children have attended Chestnut, and both have been well looked after during their time there. From eight months through to five years old, my children have had the support they need. Preschool was fantastic for my eldest, and we found he was ahead of the curve with respect to counting and writing when he transitioned to school. The staff have really cared about supporting my children developmentally and emotionally. The EYFS framework implementation provides a really clear view of development, and the way it was used within the nursery setting allowed me as a parent to target our learning outside of the nursery. The use of the parent app allows me to keep up to date with my child's day, and I found the staff updated it frequently.

Chestnut in St Giles is a lovely nursery with a caring, nurturing environment. We placed both our children here from nine months and the benefits the nursery has had on their social and communication skills have been incredible. One child is currently at the setting and is thriving. The staff are very approachable and seem to take a real interest in the children.

Chestnut Boutique Nursery School @ St Giles has been a fantastic start to our son's time at nursery. Our son started at 12 months and was going in four days a week and, like many first-time parents, we were nervous and anxious about this next chapter. However, the team leads were amazing at listening to all of our concerns and were able to accommodate all of our requests, including and not limited to little things like lots of cuddles, extra moisturisation when changing nappies and keeping his bib dry. The proof of their great care and attention was how quickly our son was able to settle, adapt and enjoy going to nursery! We would highly recommend this nursery and encourage any first-time parents to be vocal about their child's needs as the nursery is so good at taking this into account and making sure your child enjoys and thrives in their care.

St Giles Nursery is such a wonderful place and environment for little ones to be in. My little one has learnt so much, is so confident and so smiley every day. Thank you to everyone. You are always more than happy to help and support parents as well as the children. The rooms are well equipped with lots of activities and being updated with photos is such a wonderful thing to receive.

My little boy started in August 2022 aged 13 months. At first, I was slightly worried about the outdoor space as it is quite small for the babies and there were some elements that looked like it could be refurbished in the little garden. However, my son has loved playing in it and I realised now you don't necessarily need a lot of space for the babies outdoors. Care and learning have been fantastic, all the staff have been brilliant and my son loves the food. I feel his speech and personality have come on a lot more since starting nursery. The only downside I would say is that we don't get a lot of photos posted on the app, especially in the early days when he first started as it would have been more reassuring but this is the only negative, we are loving the nursery.

Nursery staff are very friendly and welcoming. My son likes to go to nursery. He is saying "Beautiful nursery ". My kid learned lots of new words and rhymes from nursery. Location of nursery is very near the city.

My daughter has been attending ST Giles for over a year now. And wow. She has been taught so many amazing things and has been so, so supported. We struggled with separation anxiety, potty training and everything you can imagine and the team in the Willow room especially made sure I was heard and catered for. My daughter loves nursery and the activities that they provide! I always feel comfortable reaching out to the manager. Thank you!

Our child has been at Chestnut Boutique Nursery School @ St Giles for over two years and has thrived. The staff are friendly and welcoming, our child has formed great relationships with the staff and other children there. She has been supported in learning both academic basics (e.g. numbers and letters), but also emotional resilience. The monthly themes are tied together and well thought out and the communication with the best is good.

I am extremely pleased with this nursery. My child has improved a lot. There are so many things she has learned from this nursery. I am really grateful to all the staff.

We are happy to have sent our daughter to Chestnut Boutique Nursery School @ St Giles. The staff are lovely and caring whilst professional, organised and keen to encourage the children to flourish. The food they provide is varied and healthy. They are in an excellent, city-centre location which suits us very well, and their various rooms are well-resourced. The Parentzone app is a great way to keep up with how our child is getting on in the day, and they update it regularly throughout the day. We remember the worried feeling of sending our little daughter to nursery for the first time, but we are glad that we've chosen St Giles nursery as they have put our fears at ease.

I can't recommend this nursery enough, they are doing an amazing job under tough circumstances. The staff are nurturing and friendly. My child loves going to nursery and constantly talks about it at home.

Both our sons attend Chestnut Boutique Nursery School @ St Giles and are extremely happy there. The staff are always helpful, professional and polite and always have a happy, welcoming face for the children. The space is compact but pleasant. Both my children seem happy and stimulated by their days spent at the nursery. I would also like to say how well and sensitively the staff have managed all the changes and safeguarding measures that have had to be put in place as a result of Covid.

I would not hesitate to recommend Chestnut Boutique Nursery School @ St Giles, such a special place.

Our 2 boys are currently attending Chestnut Boutique Nursery School @ St Giles, our oldest started in early 2020 and our youngest started last September. We are really satisfied with the service provided and the professionalism of the staff and management; this has been especially notable during Covid times. The staff show a keen interest in the wellbeing of the kids and the feedback is always useful. Kids are also very well catered for with a wide ranging menu. We would certainly recommend this nursery.
