Stars Pre-School Dogsthorpe has a nature garden where the children can grow vegetables and herbs, go for bug hunts, create pretend campfires and mix different materials such as mud, sand and bark in the mud kitchen.
Each child has a key person they will build a strong relationship with the child, parents and families from enrolment through to the transition to school. The key worker will also offer individual observation, planning and assessment in line with the early years foundation stage curriculum (EYFS).
Parents will need to supply children with a packed lunch, however, snacks are provided in the mornings and afternoons.

My daughter absolutely loves her playgroup. She is in a safe secure environment, where she is encouraged to learn and grow every day. Her confidence has come on in leaps and bounds since starting in September 2020. Each day at pick up, her key worker comes and lets me know how she's done for the day and mentions any issues. It's a nice friendly place that I know my daughter feels safe and supported in.

All staff are so good with my daughter and help her settle and make her feel comfortable; she enjoys coming to preschool every day and misses it during the holidays! My daughter loves the garden and getting messy making mud pies.

My son enjoys going to school and likes it there. I feel comfortable leaving my son there as they have a system where they let you know what your child been up to so you do not have to worry about your child.
