My son has been going Busy Bees for 2 and half years, currently in rising 3’s and he absolutely loves his key worker. I can’t praise her enough she is brilliant with the kids.

Fantastic little nursery. Our 4-year-old moved there primarily due to our old nursery not offering free hours and we wished we had moved sooner. Great staff who are very child focused and our daughter is thriving in both development and confidence.

I’m very happy with this nursery and can’t imagine sending my baby anywhere else.
Staff are lovely and the atmosphere is great. My little one is very keen to spend his day there so l couldn’t ask for more.

My son is loving his time at Busy Bees, The Hampton, he has made many friends and has settled in well. He will be leaving in the summer to start primary school but I have every confidence he is ready thanks to the help from Busy Bees to make sure he is ready for school.


The management at Busy Bees

are brilliant, any concerns or changes you wish to make they listen to you and if possible, will help make the changes. (Eg changing Room setting or days attending)


I love the app used to record activities my son has done as observations and records how they have eaten. Parents can add to it too and give feedback.

I can’t thank The Hampton Day Nursery enough for their time and patience with my son whilst he has attended their nursery. My son has not just been seen as a number while attending but all the staff, not just his key worker, have taken time to get to know him and communicate with him in a way that makes
him feel settled.
My son always returns home very happy and singing songs from his day. I have to thank the staff for encouraging my son to try new healthy foods - something I have struggled with at home! The office staff have always been so efficient and helpful. I know it’s not just my son who feels sad about his time coming to an end at the Hampton Day Nursery but I am so thankful for the start they have given him into his school journey!

My Son has been attending Busy Bees in Hampton since May 2017. He began with settling in sessions which were a brilliant way for him to get used to the nursery setting and staff. He formed a brilliant relationship with his key worker in the baby room and I continue to feel at ease with his progress
now as he has entered the pre-toddler room. The staff are all fantastic - no question or query is a problem. I receive daily updates through the online system and feedback on collection of what my Son has eaten, length of nap, nappy changes and activities. The key workers post observations of learning and development on the online parent system which is wonderful to see and eases the guilt of having to work! I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a friendly local environment where you can feel at ease knowing your child is well looked after.

Since my son started the Hampton Busy Bees Nursery he has become such a confident little boy. He can say the whole alphabet, knows almost every colour and can count to 20! He can even recognise his name! He's learnt so much in a such a short amount of time. I've been so happy with the all the help he
gets from his key workers since first starting in toddlers, they really are the credit to the nursery. I would definitely recommend to any of my friends.

My daughter has attended since she was around 18 months old. Upon starting within the toddler room she made some lovely friends. She has learnt to socialise well with others. She enjoys all the yummy, healthy, fresh food daily. The staff are all very welcoming and helped her to settle in, within the
first few weeks. They have then followed through on her progress throughout the different classes. She now attends preschool at the nursery, where they are preparing her for school and teaching her the values she will need during her academic journey.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone with a firm belief that your child is well looked after and cared for in a nurturing environment for a reasonable price.

The Hampton Day Nursery is a fantastic well-organised nursery which our daughter attends, we would highly recommend it. Our 4 years old daughter enjoys going to nursery, she is provided with a range of activities to stimulate her learning and development whilst having fun as well as preparation for
starting school. The staff are always planning activities to extend the childrens learning and plan an extensive amount of themed days to promote topics to widen the children's awareness. She has made a good set of friends which she enjoys playing with. The staff and management are all fantastic and have developed a good close relationship with her and are fantastic at communicating with us too. The staff are all happy, enthusiastic and extremely proactive and I honestly would not send her anywhere else.

Under the new management team, the nursery has come on in leaps and bounds. Really positive changes and an improved attitude amongst staff. Great, visible, consistent and positive support and leadership from Heidi which is reflected in the team and there improved work with the children, especially in
organisation amongst the room managers. Everyone is exceptionally friendly too. Very happy.

My daughter loved attending Busy Bees full time and was excited every morning to go to nursery. She built fantastic relationships with all of the staff and has developed so quick in such a positive and happy environment. The staff at the nursery were amazing, each and every member showed so much affection
and care towards the children and I am very grateful and thankful to them for taking such good care of my daughter. The management have been very accommodating to my personal circumstances and have been professional and flexible to suit my needs from day 1. Finally, I must praise the quality and cleanliness of the nursery. There was not a single day that I felt the environment was unclean or unsuitable for my child, every visit the nursery was presented very well with clean and meaningful activities for the children. Thank you so much Busy Bees, we will miss you!

I like all the space the babies (under 2's) have. The refurbished look with neutral colours and new equipment/toys is also very appealing. My son has settled down quite quick into the nursery and into the staff. They have even managed to make him sleep by himself which it looked really challenging
at the beginning. He also seems happy to stay there. The best reward is to see how he much he has developed since he started at the nursery a couple months ago.

Since my son joined in 2013, I have been happy with all the staff and the nursery's way of working. I have felt confident with the care my son has received and I'm surprised every day at what he has learnt and words he uses. I am very grateful to all at the nursery.

I am not happy with a couple of things:
1. There have been several occasions where the daily dairy is not completed during EOD.
2. On 3 occasions the child was handed over which a soiled nappy and rashes followed soon after as the soiled nappy was left for ages.
3. Always gets nappy rashes from Nursery.

Learning - should be more constructive. Children should be encouraged to learn colours, letters, to speak etc etc.
5. My child has been in for 7 months. I have not had one meeting with the staff yet (except for the settling in sessions)
6. My child is a very picky eater and there seems to be no planning on techniques on how to encourage such children to eat.
7. The staff are very polite and management is very helpful. They would always listen to your needs carefully but some more action and planning is required on the above.
8. It's not good value for money.
I would like to stress however that the staff are absolutely amazing there.

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees in Peterborough for almost a year and a half and we both love it. I choose Busy Bees after touring a few nurseries in the area because I loved the facility, the staff was very friendly, and I loved their individualised teaching methods. I can now say that that
staff is absolutely amazing. My daughter loves her teachers and they genuinely care about her. She doesn't attend full time, but every morning she wakes up and asks me if she gets to go to school today because she really enjoys going. When I drop her off I know that she is being well looked after.

Job Title: Centre Director Joined: 2021

Hi, my name is Alex and I have worked with Busy Bees since November 2021. I originally started working in Childcare as an apprentice and worked my way from Level 2 to then gaining my Level 3 qualification. I joined the Busy Bees team as the ACD here at Peterborough, and since then I have achieved a lot within the company, I was given the opportunity to take on the Centre Director Designate role being able to support a variety of different centres to achieve the highest standards of care and education, this has given me a wide range of tools and experiences to use moving forward. I have recently returned to the Peterborough Nursery to take on the Centre Director Role and this time, with my beautiful Baby Girl. Since having my Daughter I have found myself embarking on the same journey as all new parents do and have seen the visible importance of their nursery journey as well as all the important milestones to be achieved during their Early Years. I see myself to be a very hands-on leader and enjoy coaching and guiding the staff team to join me with ongoing enthusiasm and love for their roles. As a result, I will be making it my ultimate goal to ensure that all children within our nursery are receiving the best quality of care and education throughout their journey here at Busy Bees allowing them to have the Best Start in Life.
