The Brampton Day Nursery is located on the High Street in the picturesque village of Brampton.

It provides high-quality childcare in a welcoming, stimulating and caring environment.

The nursery building provides a home from home ethos and each light and airy room is equipped with natural furnishings to a very high specification for the individual age groups they provide for.

It supports children’s interests using the Early Years Foundation Stage and Schematic Play and underpins all care and learning using the Characteristics of Effective Learning.

Staff place high importance on open-ended, heuristic resources and each room is equipped to reflect this; they pride themselves on a child centred and creative curriculum.

The Brampton Day Nursery is excellent. My son has been here for 4 years and is about to leave to start school. I have looked round most of the nurseries in the area and this is by far the best. The garden is amazing, my boys absolutely love being outside in the garden and I love that they are outside
as much as possible. The forest school is brilliant and there are always different and varied activities each day. All of the staff are fantastic and have helped to positively manage any difficult behaviours. I cannot recommend this nursery enough, I will be very sad when my son leaves to go to school.

This nursery is fantastic. The staff are amazing and actually know your child so progress reviews are actually worthwhile. The food on offer is varied and is well received by the children. They do plenty of activities including forest school, which our child really enjoys. She also loves the local walks
they take the children on.

My son currently attends Brampton Day Nursery and he loves it! He has been at the nursery for 2 years now and is in the 2-3yr room. The different rooms are all well suited for the age ranges and abilities. The staff are always very friendly and welcome my son each morning so that he is settled for
the day. The nursery caters very well for my son's dietary requirements, ensuring that he has a variety of meals each day. The garden area is brilliant, and my son especially enjoys the mud kitchen!. There are so many different activities for them to do, including Forest School, music and movement, walks around the village etc. Overall, I am very happy that my son is keen to go into nursery each morning, and he is settled and is kept very busy with all the different things to do!

Sending our children to nursery was by far the hardest decision we have had to make since becoming parents. We intended on looking at every nursery in our area because we had to make sure we were sending them to the best. We had looked at a few and came away not saying very much. All of that changed
when we visited The Brampton Day Nursery. The rooms and resources are so lovely and inspire the children to explore imaginative play, the ladies that work there were all so approachable to both us as parents and the children they care for. And then when we saw the garden we knew this was the place for our two children - you need to see it!! Our children love going to nursery and I love knowing that they aren’t just getting the best care by people who genuinely love my children but they are learning and developing at a rate that wouldn’t have happened without this setting. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough, it will be a sad day when they both eventually have to leave.

My daughter has been at The Brampton Day Nursery from the age of 11 months and she is now almost 3 years. I will also send our second daughter there. I have always been extremely happy that we chose to send her there and she has loved her time there. The staff are lovely, it is clean, full of fun and
energy and the garden is brilliant. My daughter always enjoys the food and I feel completely confident in her care whilst she is there. The transitions between rooms have been stress-free and smooth. On the rare occasion that I have needed to query anything the team have been very helpful and resolved the matter sensitively and promptly. I would thoroughly recommend the nursery.

I have 2 children here. I absolutely love this nursery. The staff are outstanding and it feels very reassuring leaving my children with them to go to work, knowing they will have a great day, in an outstanding environment with access to a beautiful garden, excellent toys and educational opportunities
to explore, learn and develop. I would recommend the Wigwam Nurseries in a heartbeat.

Lovely, friendly nursery. Staff are welcoming and the atmosphere is fun, full of imaginative play and learning. The garden is brilliant and enjoyed by the children every day regardless of the weather. I would recommend the nursery to other parents.

My daughter has been attending The Brampton Day Nursery since 2014, just after the current owners took over and the building was renovated. She has grown up as part of the nursery and been through all of the aged rooms. My son now also attends the nursery and has been there for 1 year. Both children
are extremely happy there and as a parent, I am confident that they are in the best hands possible. The staff are extremely attentive and willing to listen to ours/children's needs. They have done an excellent job at both entertaining and teaching the children, provided a stimulating, fun and educating experience. I am impressed with their outdoors ethos, provision of structured play and excellent facilities. I completely recommend this nursery.

My son is so happy here. It's such a wonderful nursery. He is greeted by name by all the staff who see him each morning. He enjoys the routine of nursery life and is always happy to tell me about his day. He teaches me songs and games he plays with his friends.

My twin girls love going to nursery. The nursery staff are all very kind and caring without exception. The nursery is very clean and well run and there are always lots of exciting activities and fun toys to play and learn with. The outside space is phenomenal and the girls really enjoy getting stuck
in with the Forest School in all weathers. They both really enjoy their food at nursery and have a rounded and healthy diet throughout the day. The leadership and management team at the nursery and also in the under 2s room is outstanding. This nursery is undoubtedly providing my girls with the best possible start in life and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

It was fantastic to see all the preschool children taking part in a small play whilst parents watched. My daughter really enjoyed this and the nursery staff had worked very hard with the children.
The enthusiasm and interest shown by the staff is excellent.
The preschool children are a small, cohesive,

They're fantastic! My son has been there since Sept 2015 and since he has settled in (only took a few months) he's absolutely loved it! All the ladies are brilliant, very caring and teach him so much. It takes my son a few minutes to settle in the each morning but is always so comfortable going off
with any of the ladies, even if he's upset. The menu is great, nice healthy meals which my son constantly has seconds of! The ladies are always happy to ease my concerns if I call up when he's not been feeling great. Always very helpful to me and I highly recommend them. Amazing garden too. My son adores being outside, love that they are an "all weather" nursery, rain doesn't stop them!

My son has attended the nursery since he was 6 months and I have found the nursery to be outstanding. The baby room is managed by a mature and highly experienced room leader, who ensures that they are cared for thoroughly, either sticking with a routine that you want or helping you get them into one.
They help fully with the transition from milk to food. The children are taken out daily for walks and the garden area is complete with Forrest school, huge sand pit and mud kitchen. A wide range of activities are available inside also with regular parents evenings. The management are very hands on and approachable. My son has now moved to 2-3s room which offers multiple activities which are always imaginative and creative, the staff are amazing and give you excellent feedback on a daily basis.


Overall excellent nursery - The warmth and experience of the staff make the place. The only negative comment I have is that there shouldn't be an extra charge for dropping off before 0800.

We are very pleased with this professionally run nursery. Our child is always welcomed by name when they arrive each morning. The outdoor space is interesting and has various zones to provide a range of outdoor play activities. The food is good, which goes down well with our little boy after rushing
around outside. The tone of the staff handover at the end of each day is always positive. The children are gently guided towards behaving well and therefore the atmosphere is welcoming and safe. The turnover of staff has been a concern of ours in the past. But the staff have always been excellent. Also, this seems to have settled down in recent months and the nursery has got better in communicating staff changes. The owners have clearly invested in the facilities in the last few years and the children have gained more space to play indoors due to this. We chose this nursery for the 'Forest school' approach and we are very happy with the caring and personal service they provide.

This nursery is brilliant for my son - he absolutely loves his time there and they have a wonderful ethos and facilities. I particularly like their approach to discipline with talking through difficult emotions and sensory supervised timeouts to help the kids chill out and understand their own behaviour.
The amount of time they get to spend outside is also great.
