Kindred Cambourne Nursery and Pre-School

All staff are friendly and always keep us up to date with what our little one is up to. If he is unsettled when he goes in they make sure to keep us updated and reassure us that he has settled down and is having a good day.

Always friendly and constant updates using the app. Our child loves it and the key workers. The multiple rooms and different activities are fantastic and allow him to experience things he wouldn't at home.

All in all, we have been so pleased with our decision to use Sunflower. It might not be the shiniest nursery out there, but on all important counts - staff friendliness, levels of care and fun, we have been so happy. Our 2nd child will definitely be attending when she's old enough, and we have recommended Sunflower to our friends too.

I'm very happy we enrolled our child here. The staff have gone above and beyond my expectations in terms of supporting our family and our child's learning. They have respected our child's dietary requirements, and his development has greatly improved since his enrollment. He loves his time and is always excited to go and play with his friends. We are very grateful to all the friendly and supportive staff there.

We have been at Sunflower since my boy was 7-months. He’s nearly two now! We love it there and love that he enjoys going. Staff are always helpful and kind. Really understanding of nervous mums like me! Our son gets amazing care. Food is top-notch, and our boy eats it all. Really like the use of the app to stay informed of how our son does over the day. Their management during covid has been superb. Would like to see some more interaction with other families to get to know our community better, but that will come post-covid. We are so lucky to have a nursery for our 3-year-old that is like a home from home. Staff are so welcoming and caring. Our son always looks forward to seeing his friends and enjoys a wide range of play and learning opportunities on offer. Communication is easy with the new app, and we get to see what he is up to as the day progresses. Also, very open and helpful management team, should any issues arise. Very happy to be part of the Sunflower family.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for about two years now, and she absolutely loves it. The best part is that she is always excited and happy to go and enjoys her time there. She has learnt and grown a lot there, and I am happy with her progress. Staff are generally nice and caring.

When my son first started going to Sunflower, I was extremely apprehensive as he had never been away from me or had much interaction with other children of his age. However, he took so well there, they never failed to keep my updated to how he was getting on either. I can’t thank the nursery enough for everything they do. He absolutely loves the setting, staff and children that attend the nursery. His confidence has boosted so much since going, and his speech has developed loads. Our son has been at Sunflower for 7-months now, and he is very happy there. He talks about members of staff at home and walks in quite happily by himself to see his friends! It feels very small and personal, with all staff knowing the children by name, and the updates through the app are lovely and reassuring! We are all very happy with our choice and enjoy watching our little man flourish.

Me and my Mrs, we are both Doctors and have been working in the frontline during this pandemic. Can’t thank enough each and every staff member for not only looking after our daughter but also being so supportive during these tough times. I can’t even imagine what it would have been if you guys weren’t there to support our little one. All of you are real heroes and have our utmost respect. My son started at Sunflower when he was 10-months-old. I was so worried about sending him at such a young age but was reassured upon visiting the nursery and meeting the staff. Sending your child to be cared for by others in an unfamiliar environment is such a difficult thing to do, but Sunflower made the transition smooth and comforting! A big worry for me was my sons health issues, but the nursery has gone above and beyond to cater to his needs. (dietary requirements or even accompanying in an ambulance to meet me at the hospital when I couldn’t make it to the nursery in time). The staff are kind and caring, and it’s warming being greeted by your child’s key worker in the mornings and seeing their genuine joy and excitement to spend the day with your little one! The enthusiasm from all staff really creates an amazing environment for all the children with fun activities, themed days and tasty meals! I couldn’t think of a better people or a place for my son to be when I’m working!

I have watched Sunflower help our daughter grow and learn right through from when she was a baby to now. Sunflower has provided her with a great place to develop, and the staff have been amazing every step of the way. We are so glad we made the choice we did, and can only thank Sunflower for all that they do for our daughter.

My darling daughter has been going to Sunflower for nearly 2 years now, starting when she was 13-months-old. She is always happy to be at nursery and often demands that we take her there even at the weekend! She is very secure going to nursery and runs in from the gate, often having to be reminded to say bye to us when we drop her off because she is so keen to get in and see her favourite people. She has formed lovely bonds with all members of staff. What is particularly lovely is that all the staff seem to know all the children’s names, even if they are not in the room. They are welcoming and loving towards all the children.

My little man acquired an endless amount of skills and he is growing up into this very confident little person and this is thanks to you Sunflower.
