Kindred Cambourne Nursery and Pre-School

The nursery staff are very welcoming and always in a happy mood. It makes me feel so comfortable to leave my child there knowing that they are in good hands. Their facilities are good and always clean to a good standard.

I wanted to share a review that is a reflection of my sons experience at Kindred Cambourne over 3+ years.

Since day one Kindred felt like an extension of our family and have shown him (and now his sister) love and care consistently.

I particularly wanted to do this review now that he has transitioned to reception class and wanted to acknowledge how beautifully that has happened and Kindred have been hugely important in making it so. In terms of giving them right social skills, personal resilience and academic head start, Kindred Cambourne worked so hard to prepare the children for the next exciting steps and it has paid off as he has transitioned with ease.

We are so grateful to all of the kindred staff from curiosity crescent to learning lane who have all made their mark on his development.

We are so lucky to have them as part of "our village" and cannot recommend them enough to look after our most precious little people.

Excellent nursery - we looked at 8 nurseries and found this one to the best. It is safe, secure, has lots of space and staff are knowledgeable, approachable and friendly.

Facilities are modern and clean and the food supplied is of great quality and very varied. Excellent value for money and will be sending any future children here.

My son has been going to Kindred Cambourne for three years and he absolutely loves it. The staff have been brilliant with him at every stage - kind, supportive and dedicated. They do such a great range of activities and lots of outdoor and active time, and have really helped support his development, particularly as he approaches the transition to primary school. I can't rate them highly enough.

My son loves running into nursery and I feel he is safe there which is very reassuring.

Our daughter has been at this nursery since she was two years old and has always loved it. She moved through three rooms, from toddler to preschool room. All the staff are fantastic and dedicated to looking after the children and making their day fun. The children are busy doing messy/water play outside, baking, cooking, dancing, singing and so much more. The nursery celebrates festivals of all cultures and teaches the children the meanings of each of them. Our daughter is always looking forward to her nursery days and spending time with her friends.

My daughter has been attending Kindred for a few months now following being at a different nursery. She has come on leaps and bounds in the time she has been there and is always so happy to go in! I'm so happy with her progress and the relationships she has formed with the staff.

Our son has been at Kindred for the past 3 years - starting in the baby room and now in the pre school. He's loved being at Kindred. The staff have always been very kind and caring. They do an endless amount of activities with the children and make every day an adventure. Our son has been able to make a great friend group and whilst I'm sure will miss the nursery when it's time to leave, I feel certain he's prepared socially and academically to excel at reception in September.

Our son joined Kindred when he was 7 months old in the baby room. The employees are wonderful with children and reassuring with parents! They have been very supportive in dealing with sleep (our son is a contact nap baby), and feeding (introducing solids and bottle feeding). They always take time at the end of the day to chat with us about any questions we could have and to debrief about the day.

As first time parents, the separation anxiety hit us too when he started nursery but the team has been in touch with us during the day, sending pictures and details of what our son has been doing.

The App is the best way of communication between us and the Kindred team for any questions or concerns.

The activities the children do are varied and designed to help babies development. The food seems varied and balanced.

She always comes home happy and tired, from all the games and activities the nursery offers. We see her progress and we understand that the carers at the nursery play a huge role in her development. We are very grateful for their hard work!

Incredible nursery and truly feels like a family. I was immediately made to feel at ease leaving my baby with the staff. I get regular updates and pictures and can say my daughter loves going to the nursery. The team are amazing, especially the ladies who my daughter adores. Another 2 ladies are also incredible in their communication and support. I couldn't recommend the nursery more.

Our daughter loves attending the nursery, she loves the environment. She loves all the staff and it has a lovely community feel with staff and children knowing each other well, sharing learning and play time together. We have only good things to say about the team and the wonderful environment. Our daughter always comes home telling us all about the amazing things she has done and learned that day.

My second child has just started at kindred Cambourne. He has he is 10 months old and is in the baby room, he settled in brilliantly with the staff. I've been so so pleased with how he has bonded with the carers adapted to life at Nursery. He's starting to feed himself, he sleeps well. He enjoys all the food and every time I pick him up he looks like he's just had the best day. My daughter is still at kindred and it is 4 years old. She's in the preschool which has been fantastic, starting to build a foundation of letters and writing. I've been very impressed. The management are very receptive and there is good communication. The app updates are good with lots of lovely pictures. I definitely recommend this Nursery!

Our sons have been at Kindred for 8 months now and have learned so much in that short time. They can't wait to get there and run in with big smiles on their faces. They are given fantastic opportunities to learn though different activities. Staff and particularly their key workers take excellent care, show great enthusiasm and have created close bonds with the boys. They share lovely updates and photos with us regularly. Couldn't be happier with nursery, thank you all so much!

My experience with Kindred Nursery is really good because my 3-year-old daughter comes home singing songs that she learned at nursery. The nursery teachers are really good with the kids, sometimes things might be misplaced but you get them back on the next day at nursery. They are very helpful and supportive toward parents who are in need of help. I would recommend this nursery to anyone. The activities are great, the facilities awesome, they even involve you in the care of your child and they send pictures of their activities.

The staff at this nursery are fantastic, they are so caring and really invest time in getting to know the children and their families, take enjoyment in each new learning they see and are always thinking of new activities to stimulate and excite the children. There is a real family feeling that is genuine and consistent (my son's been there for 6 months now). The food menus are also varied and sound delicious, and the rooms have lots of different spaces for a variety of activities.

Having said this, after a couple of months, our daughter started to really enjoy it. She loves it now. The staff are all lovely and we are very happy with it now. With Kindred taking over Sunflower, I can see that more money is available to buy resources and equipment.

My 7-year-old daughter previously attended this nursery too and I honestly believe she has done so well because of the effort the staff put into the children which make going to school so much easier for the child. I can't praise the nursery staff enough, they are amazing! And amazes me how much they do with the children. I have recommended this nursery to my friends!

Team members are helpful with understanding the needs of the child. Garden is quite big for the child to explore and learn from it with a lot of options in a day. Key worker and the team knows the kid individually to share how they are in the setting.
