Clarence House Godmanchester Nursery Reviews (40)

All three of my children have attended Clarence House Nursery from about 9 months until moving to the Preschool. My youngest is currently attending and she absolutely loves it. She settled in so quickly and has always been happy to go. She is given a wide variety of meals and a great selection of activities to do over the day. I have found the staff to be very engaged and she has built a great relationship with her key worker. The manager has always been accommodating when I have requested longer or extra sessions, even at short notice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone.
Our son has been going to Clarence House Godmanchester since January 2022 and he settled in straight away. He loves to be outdoors and the outside space is perfect for this. The staff are great and keep us informed on how he’s getting on. He always comes home saying new words, so he’s encouraged to learn new things, even at only 16 months. I was nervous to send him to nursery and it took a while to find the right one - but I would definitely recommend Clarence House.
Clarence House Nursery is a welcoming environment. The staff are kind and caring and put the needs of the children first. Our daughter is happy at Clarence House and always has exciting tales to tell us about her days with her friends and key workers. Communication is clear and timely and the activities on offer are varied and engaging.
My daughter has been attending Clarence House Nursery for the last year and absolutely loves it! After previously attending a nursery in London it's a breath of fresh air with very attentive staff who she's formed a strong attachment to. They keep us updated on her progress and were particularly supportive when she decided to potty train relatively early. The toddlers spend as much time outside as possible, especially in the summer which my daughter really enjoys. We also have a great relationship with the manager and staff and my daughter is always happy to go to nursery, which makes me a happy mum!
Our daughter has attended this nursery for just over a year now she loves the staff and looks forward to going in. She had a bumpy few first weeks as most covid babies did but they helped her adjust quickly. We’ve never had any issues and are happy with the care and education she receives.
Both my children attend Clarence House Godmanchester Nursery, my oldest who is now 4 started when he was 9 months old. From then to now Clarence House have been accommodating, professional and a great help when needed. Both my children love going and always talk about the staff and what they did in their day. The staff are very approachable if needed and will help you in any way they can. They are always doing activities to keep the children entertained and I will often get Tapestry updates in the day so I can see what they have been up to. Great Nursery for anyone who is considering sending their child.
The staff are fab and have done a great job dealing with the challenges Covid has presented. I love that they post to the app regularly, giving us a glimpse of what they get up to.
The staff is very approachable and caring for my son. They are very proactive with my son and put his needs first. They always ring us if they have an issue or a question and with the current climate they are very careful with infection control.
We are very happy with Clarence House Day Nurseries in Godmanchester, all the staff are very friendly and available to help. Our son really likes it and he can't wait to go in the morning. The facilities are good, the outside equipment could be 'renewed' but still in very good condition.
Thanks to the amazing staff, in particular her key worker, our daughter has settled in really well to nursery. This setting has a lovely homely feel to it. We are updated well on her progress and in particular, enjoy the regular online learning journal entries. They have also been very flexible in regards to my shift work.
My son has additional needs due to medical issues but all the staff have been fantastic. They have really helped my son progress and develop. They do many activities during the day to entertain and stimulate children. At drop off and pick up my son gives out big smiles and it's very obvious that he loves this nursery and that he's very well cared for.
My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 9 months old and will heading up to preschool in April. I cannot praise every member of staff and management enough, they all do an outstanding job. Every day she learns something new and she absolutely enjoys being there, sometimes not wanting to leave. I love the journal as it enables me to see what she is up to whilst I am at work. Keep up the great work as always.
I would recommend to any new parent looking for their children to be looked after in a great environment.
The management team have been flexible, accommodating and supportive of changes and requests. They always go out of their way to help.
There are other nurseries in the local area, you don't need to look anywhere else!! This is the best!
They provide a bright, vibrant and busy home from home environment for my busy little one. Their communication in terms of activities and care is second to none and I really feel that they know and understand my child as an individual whilst teaching her vital skills in regards to socialising and communicating with her peers. I would recommend Clarence House Nursery in Godmanchester to family and friends. Thank you Clarence House Team.
Our son has been in Clarence House since he was 9 months old, now 17 months and we have watched him absolutely excel at Clarence House. He is coming on in leaps and bounds and you can see a lot of his strong development is linked to the socialisation of the nursery environment and also the hard work of the staff. I feel very reassured to leave my son at Clarence House as the staff are all exceptional and they clearly genuinely care for all of the children there. My son often doesn't want to leave them. They work with you to overcome obstacles such as difficulties with nap times and they offer a fantastic varied menu. The site feels secure, the updates they give are fantastic and I would recommend Clarence House to anyone.
My 2-year-old son has been going to Clarence House since June 2019 after his previous nursery closed suddenly. He coped with the adjustment brilliantly and I have been very pleased. They seem to keep them active and well-fed and he's always happy to stay when I drop him off. I love the Tapestry that shows what they get up to as we don't see that side of things. He's very inquisitive and "helpful" and active and they meet all his needs. His personality has come out so much. It was a very good move.
Friendly staff who clearly care. Our daughter always has a great time with a good variety of activities in a safe space. The only negative is there is little/no option for children to nap and so that disrupts our daughter's usual routine. But she has made some great friends and is happy enough when we tell her it is a preschool day.
Since my son started going to this nursery he is more open to getting to know people around him, has started making friends, improved his speech and understanding how things work, what can be made from lots of different things (craft). Start expressing his emotions more and his needs. Slowly starting to eat food that he didn't before at home. Help as well with his toilet training. Staff who work with him are very nice and open, polite and understanding. They try to develop kids with lots of different activities with the kids and improve their knowledge.
Always such a happy place. The staff are friendly and clearly love working with the children. Communication is clear and the tapestry log is a wonderful tool that keeps parents up to date with the events of the day. A great nursery with wonderful staff!
Great nursery, really homely environment with fantastic staff!! I was unsure to start with as the nursery was much smaller than the previous one my son had attended but I couldn’t be happier, and not could he. He loves attending to the point that I have to manage his disappointment at realising that it is a non-nursery day!
