University Nursery at West Cambridge

We could not be more grateful for all the hard work of all the team at Cambridge West. Especially the manager, her dedication is outstanding. Two other members of staff are also invaluable assets to the nursery, and the support from another is incredible for our SEN child. They recently got awarded their outstanding Ofsted rating, and it is very clear why. Absolutely well deserved! Thank you a million times over. So glad we found you. Our child has developed so much, and it is a huge credit to you.

The nursery has looked after both our children for a total of 7 years. We could not have asked for a better upbringing - they have been instrumental in their upbringing. They have helped them become kind, happy, friendly, confident and intelligent. The staff are both friends and family to us and we couldn't have hoped for a better start for our children.

Overall, we are very satisfied with the nursery. Our daughter appears to be settled well and generally enjoys the nursery. I marked the learning as satisfactory as I need to gather more information on what the teachers think of her development. Her language is coming along slowly - she understands a lot, but her talking is not as strong. Otherwise, her motor skills are good. She is getting quite emotional these days, but perhaps this is to be expected given her age.

West Cambridge nursery is a wonderful place! Both my children have loved their experience and adore attending and all the staff.

Throughout the four years, my daughter attended University Nursery at West Cambridge, she was exceptionally well cared for and looked after. She was provided with a safe and stimulating environment in which to grow, learn and have fun. The staff always showed my daughter great care and treated her and us (me and my wife) with genuine respect. We appreciated frank, useful feedback and insight into our daughter's development and behaviour at nursery. Very happy.

West Cambridge is a wonderful nursery. My baby daughter settled right in. She had so much fun explaining and learning new skills. I can see the difference when she comes home! The practitioners are so kind and attentive and are clearly very invested in my daughter's well-being. It's a pleasure getting to know the staff and see my daughter happy at the end of the day.

My kid has been attending West Cambridge Nursery for 2 years full-time. It is the first school where my kid is genuinely happy. She looks forward to meeting her buddies and teachers every day. The teachers and staff are amazing, with hearts full of care. They are kind, and friendly and truly love the kids. Their warm smiles create a nurturing and learning environment. My kid often surprises us by demonstrating what she has learned. We witness her growth and learning. In sum, it's a safe, fun and loving place. We're thankful to the whole team.

Great facility, great staff and great experience!

I would like to mention a specific experience, yesterday I picked up my child and while leaving, accidentally closed the door behind us - it happened to be upsetting for my daughter because like any 2-year-old she wanted to do it herself! She cried hard and loud and she was upset with me. The lady who was sitting behind the counter came to help me. She helped my child to open and close the gate and brought her a snack (she was hungry too) This is how West Cambridge cares about children every single minute and does its best to keep them happy and safe! Thank you very much!

We are so happy to get a three-day-per-week position here for our little girl, who became 13 months old when she joined ladybird1 this February. The key person and all the staff there are very nice and care for my girl deeply as I do. She is happy there and not in a rush to go home when I pick her up after work. Looking forward to more time with the nursery for her to develop her skills.
