My daughter goes to Clarence House Cambridge and is very happy there. The staff are friendly and attentive and communicate really well; I am so impressed with how they are constantly coming up with exciting new activities for my daughter to enjoy.
My daughter absolutely loves it here. She looks forward to going to nursery, and she always comes home clean. She sings me songs from nursery too, which is lovely. I love that she feels comfortable with the staff and tells me all about all the fun she has!
My son has been going to Clarence House for a few weeks and, so far, we are really happy. He is clearly very happy there - he gives the staff a huge smile when he sees them and reaches out for them to lift him up! He is often the youngest one there, and they take good care of him. I'm sure he keeps them on their toes as well!
What a parent wants most of all is for their child to be happy and safe and for them to be continually developing. Clarence House gives our son all of this and more, and for that, I can not thank them enough. We look forward to sending our second there in the future!
We have had two children at Clarence House Day Nursery and have been so delighted by the care and support from the entire team. The nursery staff were brilliant all throughout the pandemic, they managed to provide continuity of care for the children through the most challenging of times. The set-up is brilliant, with a large outdoor area where the children can play freely and imaginatively. The very positive recent Ofsted report highlighted how kind the staff are and how the children have formed strong bonds with the key worker. This is definitely the case for our children and many of the others I see everyday. We feel so proud to be part of the Clarence House community and think that the nursery have thrived in very challenging times. Well done team!
Excellent staff, caring, loving and well presented.
We have had our son in this nursery since he was 18-months-old, nearly one year already has passed with him being there and we are very happy about everything.
My son is showing progress in new development skills, educational skills, he is friendly with everyone, he is not afraid of people and we are very happy with all the nursery has done for us and my son. We have another son and we will enrol him as well in this nursery. Great staff, good parking facilities and very happy with everything in Clarence House. The nursery manager is doing a great job in looking after the nursery and our children. 100% recommend this nursery.
Excellent nursery which our son loves. The staff treat us like family and are so attentive. We’ve been sending our son for over two years and will definitely be signing up our second one due this May, even though we moved further away. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
Clarence House Day Nursery has provided a lovely experience for our child and we are very happy with the provision. The hours available suit our needs and the team have been really flexible with us when we have changed the dates that our child attends. Our son has now progressed to toddlers and has been given the opportunity to try lots of different activities and appears to be really happy. The app is also a great bonus!
The cleanliness of the nursery is spot on daily, well done to everyone and I'm happy to continue my son's journey with Clarence House Day Nursery. Much appreciated to all!
We have been kept up to date with their progress with regular updates and detailed reports on the app.
The manager is always very flexible and helpful and it has been really useful to have the option to book extra days. The opening hours are some of the longest in Cambridge.
We moved to the nursery after having been very happy with a childminder previously. We are really grateful to have found a nursery which has been as cosy and caring as a home-based environment and our children have had excellent bonds with their keyworkers and with the manager.
Our daughter skips through the door when we drop her off in the morning and enjoys her time at Clarence House with the other children and staff. The last sixteen months have been trying for everyone but the nursery has done everything they can to be safe and for our daughter to enjoy her time there. I think she also gets to eat better than I do.
Clarence House in Cambridge is a very safe and welcoming environment for our toddler. He enjoys playing with the staff and other toddlers and has wonderful experiences. The staff look after him and teach him various skills. They also engage him in a variety of activities that stimulate his brain and engages him physically.
The staff have done a great job of looking after my son. My son is always eager to go back as soon as he leaves. Whenever we pick up my son, the staff always tell us about his eating, the activities he did, etc. It seems my son loves the food they serve there, and he almost always eats most of it. They do various activities, like painting, teaching them the difference between unhealthy and healthy food, etc. The staff have also been really helpful in advising and helping with my son’s pronunciations of words.
It is a great nursery, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone.
Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere. My son loves the nursery.
My daughter (18 months) has been at Clarence House for 7 months. She settled in pretty quickly and now really loves her time at nursery. When we pick her up she is excited to show us the activities she has been doing that day. The staff are all warm, welcoming and friendly and my daughter gets on really well with a lot of them, not just her key worker. Things we really like about the nursery are the down-to-earth, relaxed atmosphere and family feel (my daughter loves the time with the older children in the morning and late afternoons); the willingness to fit in with her routine in the baby room, which has a separate, dark, sleeping area; and the fantastic garden with lots of activities which they spend as much time as possible in (my daughter's favourite is the mud kitchen). They have been happy catering for my daughter's allergies and using washable nappies. If you want a super-organised, clinical nursery this probably isn't for you, but for a happy friendly one, worth taking a look.
We are very happy with the nursery and the staff overall. Our daughter is always having a good time and her learning is very good. She has learnt to eat better by herself, being more social and generally interested in lots of activities and crafts.
Very friendly staff. Very accommodating to my family and my son. Took great care of my son when he was ill and monitored him very closely. Always happy to answer any questions I had. My son enjoyed his time there and we were very sad to leave.
I admire the high energy levels of the staff at Clarence House. My son is extremely happy and very well looked after there. Whenever there are any problems, the staff take the effort to inform me and not ignore these problems. This has enabled me to work on what I know are the key problems, to help my son to develop and reach his full potential. They are great at listening and are never judgemental. They take the time and effort in going to great details about how my son is developing, at the parent's evening. They always take on board what I've said and are keen to provide suggestions to improve anything. It's the open understanding and trust which they provide within a small, cosy, homely environment, which has enabled me to work extremely stressful jobs. They have made my life as a working mother so much easier. And I don't have to worry about my son whilst I'm working.
My daughter is very happy at this nursery, which she has been attending for 2 years. She loves the staff, has lots of friends and enjoys all the activities. I am very happy with the food that is offered. They are always very accommodating if we need any extra sessions.
I’ve had such a great experience with this nursery. They are always easy to contact, will try and support any hours or extra sessions you require. Very flexible and helpful. Great range of lunches and snacks are provided to all children within the price.
