The Nursery School Charlwood

My son started here a year ago and loves going every day. The staff are so friendly and professional. Its made it so much easier in leaving him and going back to work full time.

Both my son’s attended Charlwood House Day Nursery, they loved being there and adored all the staff, they have fond memories and the setting helped mould them into the happy and confident boys they are today. They now attend the settings holiday club and can’t wait for the holidays to begin!!

My son attended Charlwood from 11 months until he started school this September. He thoroughly enjoyed every day and I trusted them wholeheartedly. The staff are friendly and will adapt to child’s individual needs. He started school without a fuss and was very ready, able to do everything on the list the school expected. He misses Charlwood and asks to go back to see everyone. This tells me how much he loved his time there.

The staff was like family to me and my son. Daily reports were spot on!

I enjoy dropping my son to nursery because he is always so happy to be there, which I think is such a great reflection of just how great it is at Charlwood House. The atmosphere is so positive and friendly, I have liked all of the staff who I have come across in the 2 years my son has attended there. The nursery itself is lovely, and the garden in the summer is used to its full potential with the children still outside at home time. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who wants their child to have their imagination fed, in a perfect environment, with personable and dedicated staff.

The staff are amazing, very knowledgeable and genuinely care about the children in their care. Grounds are amazing, my child loves being outside in the open space. They are always coming up with different activities for the children to do which they all love.

The date doesn’t go back as far as I need it to, however, both my children started their lives here and the experiences they had have been invaluable. There are no words for the care they received, just fantastic. This nursery will have a place in my heart forever.

Fantastic nursery! My daughter has just started school and she’d been at Charlwood House Day Nursery since she was 9 months old and they couldn’t have treated her better if they tried. She can’t eat dairy, yeast or sugar and the chef made meals especially for her. She’s got a really good sense of right and wrong, has been encouraged to help others, and is completely ready for school (ticked off everything on their checklist) and I couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you all so much.

My two year old daughter attends here and absolutely loves it! All the staff are really friendly and we especially love the outside space that this nursery has to offer! I would highly recommend to anyone.

My boy loved it for the 3.5 years he came. An amazing place. They really grew my little one ready for his first days at school. He made some great friends. We will definitely use them for holiday club.

Rota days are accommodated around my shift work, sometimes very last minute. My children have progressed amazingly through the years and I can’t recommend the nursery enough. It’s run like a big family and go above and beyond to help.

We only have 1 year left with the amazing team and the thought of leaving already fills us with dread but thanks to the work of the team I know she will be just fine at Primary school next year. Cannot rate them highly enough.

My Daughter has been going to Charlwood House since she was 9 months old, she is now nearly 3! The nursery is great, teachers and staff are very friendly, and always give updates on her days when I collect. She gets to do lots of things she loves doing, she is also learning French! The main thing that drew me to the nursery was the outdoor space, it's fantastic, and they try and go out as much as possible. I'd highly recommend the nursery.

All staff here very helpful and friendly, keep me up to date with how my son is doing and any issues are dealt with quickly. He has been poorly a few times and they have always called me to let me know how he is doing, has developed really well with his eating since going here too and the nursery always seems to have a good array of toys and equipment for him to play with, kids always seem really happy !!

Our son has attended this for 18 months now since he was 1, and he loves it. He's developed so much thanks to the fantastic staff at Charlwood. We're sorry to be taking him out, but a job change forces this. The nursery has always been great, our son never wants for anything, and the feedback we get from the staff is fantastic. The nursery is flexible, able to facilitate extra days when required and offering term time only care has saved us a fortune. The house and grounds are great, and we're happy that our son gets to play outside rain or shine!

I have had a daughter going to nursery here since September 2012 and my little boy started in Jan 16. They both love it. When my daughter goes off to school in September she will miss all her friends and staff very much!
