Really pleased with Reflections - a proper community underpinned by confident practitioners who know and care for each child. My daughter loves going to Reflections. The practitioners are great with her and they really take the time to get to know her and celebrate her best qualities. The space and creative activities they do, on top of having all the that outside play are for them to explore, is just excellent. Nothing is

My son absolutely loves coming here, he never looks back and is always happy on pick up. Everyone is so friendly and attentive to the children. The food menu is definitely a bonus with all the lovely meals they receive. I would recommend this nursery to everyone I know :)

Ever since our daughter started last January. She has thrived at nursery.
She has so much fun there and often comes home knowing new songs, phrases and words.
She gets excited when she knows it's nursery day and always tells us the names of her favourite teachers who she can't wait to see.

My daughter is absolutely obsessed, she would move in if she could! From the staff to the facilities to the food it has been an absolutely faultless experience. Any questions, queries or concerns are addressed head on and in detail. The activities she is provided with are second to none! From the minute
she started we could see her growing and developing daily. Her speech, language and communication skills are head and shoulders above some other children her own age and we fully contribute that to the support we receive from the curriculum provided by nursery. The food she is provided every day is amazing; she tries meal I would never be able to cook in a million years and the exposure to different flavours and textures has made her such an I dependant eater, now no plate is safe as she is open to trying absolutely everything put in front of her because of the amazing menu that is provided and designed by Ezra!
Overall I would recommend reflections to everyone!

Our little one started at reflections in October 2023 and I can honestly say it's the best decision we have made for him, he absolutely loves it he can be a bit sensitive going on in the morning but a cuddle from one of the staff and he is soon happy and ready for the day, all the staff are kind caring
and approachable. I think the option of beach and forest school are fantastic opportunities for the children's learning and discovery. We think it's fantastic that all meals are prepared on site and from small independent companies mostly so supporting the local community. We are so happy with the nursery and love it so much we have already signed our 4 month old up to start next year, all the staff from the office ladies who help with babies, if you're dropping off an older sibling, to the kitchen staff to the handymen everyone is lovely and welcoming, and always smiling and engaging with the children.

My daughter started at Reflections Nursery just after she turned 1 in the baby room, I went and visited a lot of nurseries and as soon I went to visit Reflections, I had such a warm feeling before even entering the building as the outside was just beautiful, whilst looking round I almost cried because
the space is so lovely and I knew this is where I wanted her to be. The staff are so lovely and truly amazing and really dedicated to their jobs, they are amazing with my daughter who is nearly 19 months now and she is so so happy there, and has really blossomed since starting and I am so grateful I found such a perfect nursery for her!

Our overall experience with Reflections has been really positive, our youngest started with them when he was 6 months old, he is now 3 and our youngest started when he was 9 months and has settled in really nicely. The staff are incredibly kind and caring and take the time to reassure you and update
you which is so helpful, especially in the early days when the children are settling in. It feels like they really take time to get to know children and work hard to make their experience really positive, being really considerate around transitions especially. The kids have a lot of outdoor time which was really important for us. Overall feels like a really nice community and that they really care which is just so important when it comes to your children being looked after.

We absolutely love reflections. My two boys are there and they have the best days. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and they keep them busy all day. The nursery is beautiful and the food menu always sounds amazing. Both of my boys are always happy when they go and come home from nursery and my

Our eldest was at reflections until September this year (from age 1 until just under 5) and he loved it. Our youngest is currently 18 months and we are excited for him to have similar experiences that his brother had. The time spent outside is invaluable. The inside spaces are calm and allow for children
to explore naturally and with gentle prompts. Another huge plus for us is that the food is all cooked from scratch with the children's tastes taken into account, whilst pushing them to try things they might not have encountered before. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and genuinely care about all of the small humans in their care!

I have two children at Reflections and only have good things to say. The pre-walkers room is lovely, the team there worked wonders with my child who was a very reluctant nursery starter. The Redwood preschool space is great and my child has the best time doing beach school on one day, forest school
the next, and then a day in Redwood. It's ideal for their age and they always come home full of stories of fun things they did that day. Special shout out to the two members of staff who run the beach and forest school too, I can't imagine doing campfires with a group of kids but they do it brilliantly and provide really good feedback too.

What a fantastic nursery doing lots of different activities keeping the children engaged. My child has a lot of allergies which the nursery deals with amazingly and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are really friendly and great with the children. My daughter also went here and could not fault
the care that has been given to my children.

Our daughter (almost 2 years old) absolutely loves Reflections. To the point where, when I ask her what she wants to do at any given time, she'll often tell me "nursery". She's been going since she was a little under 1 and clearly loves the staff, eats and sleeps well there, and is always excited to
show me things when I go to pick her up.
I do think the fact that the nursery is busier now is apparent in interactions with parents at pick-up and drop-off, the staff don't seem to have the same time or attention for handover interactions as they did when we started. But I know my daughter is having a great time, and she's learning and growing great.

Our daughter has been at Reflections since the summer in their preschool class. She absolutely loves it, she is always super excited to go in and has made wonderful friends there.
We are so impressed with the nursery workers who have brought our shy girl out of her shell. She does both forest school
and beach school which she adores and we get wonderful pictures and videos daily.
We will be sad when she leaves to go to school next year.

I have been using the nursery for the last 5 years. The staff care about the children and their learning so much. It feels like a family. The nursery is always willing to communicate and are proactive in finding ways to improve. The food always smells amazing and the children always come home happy.

My son has been at Reflections for almost one year. The growth I have noticed with him is absolutely amazing! The staff are brilliant and nothing is ever too much trouble. The facilities at Reflections are great and there is plenty for kids to do each day. The beach trips are a highlight for my child
as well as time to play in the garden, come rain or shine! I have already recommended the nursery to several parents who have decided to also send their child here following my recommendations.

We believe that early childhood is a crucial time for building the foundation of a lifelong love for learning. With a deep-rooted appreciation for the philosophies of Reggio Emilia and Forest School, we celebrate a unique approach that fosters creativity, outdoor exploration, and the empowerment of each child’s voice”

Rachel graduated from the University of Brighton in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Professional Studies in Learning and Development. She joined Little Dukes as Senior Head of Reflections Nursery & Forest School in 2023, having enjoyed a career in early years spanning over 20 years, including leadership roles in London, Brighton and Worthing.


Rachel thrives on leading change management and improvement in early years provision having successfully rebranded and transitioned specialist term time provision to full day care in 2015 and setting up the very first Ofsted registered nursery for a prestigious independent school in West Sussex in 2019.


Rachel is a freelance Early Years Inspector which has deepened her knowledge and understanding of best practice in early years. Rachel is extremely passionate about providing exceptionally high standards and successful outcomes for children in early years education, creating an environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
