Green Roots Nursery & Preschool

Green Roots is a wonderful nursery where our child thrives. The setting is like a child’s paradise with child-led play and significant outdoor space as well as role-play areas and other fun stuff. The staff are fantastic professionals who genuinely care about the children and help them develop. The food is healthy and varied and our child loves eating it. I would not want to send my child anywhere else.

My son has been attending Green Roots Nursery & Preschool for over a year now and since January we have increased his number of sessions. It took him a little while to adapt and alongside fairly constant illnesses, he has had some wobbly times recently. However, the nursery team have helped and handled this amazingly. I am always so impressed with the support he receives and the nurturing nature of the team. He has now started to transition to preschool and he is absolutely loving it. I am always so impressed by the special events the nursery does and the opportunities the children are given to develop their learning. I feel so lucky that his education is starting in such an amazing setting and am so grateful to the wonderful team.

My daughter has been attending Green Roots Nursery for over two years now and her little sister is due to start soon. I couldn’t speak more highly of Green Roots, as a nursery and preschool they more than meet the needs of my child. My child is so well supported, her needs are identified, met and communicated. Any behaviours I am struggling with and any questions I have are met sensitively with evidence-based and general support. My child’s additional needs with her health are cared for respectfully. The food is amazing and nutritious and the menus are so well thought out with great variety. The management team are so efficient, easy to communicate with and approachable! We are so lucky we found Green Roots!

Great staff, really inclusive for my special needs child and really helpful with the education, health and care plan application and associated admin. My child loves attending and gets excited when he sees his key worker. Also, good flexibility by allowing us to swap the odd session when we have had medical appointments. Great nursery, I highly recommend it.

Overall, an amazing nursery and from my point of view, no other nursery compares to Green Roots.

An absolutely amazing nursery. I can't speak more highly of the staff. Our little girls loves it there and has lovely relationships with the staff. They keep us updated and I get lots of lovely photos and progress updates on a regular basis. Would recommend it to any parent in the area.

My daughter absolutely loves attending here and has done since she was tiny. She particularly enjoys the trips out or organised activities there. She also loves the food, which is great as she is a fussy eater. She has a wonderful relationship with her key worker.

A wonderful nursery, all three of my children have attended and loved it. The staff seem to genuinely enjoy their job and go out of their way for the children. It's so reassuring to be sure they are well cared for when you aren't with them.

The team at Green Roots are superb, they've taken such care of our son. He has come on leaps and bounds in his development and his confidence with other people and children since he joined the nursery. They do a wonderful job across the nursery team (including the excellent menu provided to the children) and keep us fully informed and up to date. Highly recommended.

The staff are excellent and my child loves coming to the nursery. They always do their best to entertain, educate and really care for them in a wonderful setting. I have total trust in them and think they do a fantastic job. The environment is superb and I feel they provide so much more for them than I can alone. My child has allergies and the food is always catered so well with the menus created to minimise differences as much as possible so they do not feel like they are missing out.

It is an excellent nursery, my daughter has been attending since she was a baby and will be starting school this coming September. She is always happy going in, has many friends and has built good relationships with the staff. The food is varied and healthy and she always eats it.

Great facilities that the nursery are always looking to improve further with new resources, visits etc. As a military family, the nursery has also been key in supporting our daughter through multiple deployments in the last year, our key person has been fantastic at understanding her emotional needs during those difficult times. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Green Roots to any other parents.

The app is a great way to see what he's been up to and he loves looking back on the photos sent and telling us all about what's happening in them!

Green Roots baby room staff are so kind and loving towards my daughter. They always plan fun activities which are stimulating and aid learning. Their knowledge and communication are excellent. I'm very happy with the nursery.

Green Roots is a fantastic nursery! The staff are brilliant and I've seen my girls flourish during their time. The facilities are great and I'm always impressed with the amazing menu of food served. I'm also really impressed with how well the staff keep me in the loop on any nursery news and also any developments with my child. I would definitely recommend!

The nursery is consistently delivering a very high level of care. They are constantly evolving their policies, procedures and practices to take the very best care of our children. Their level of care and consideration for the children and families is exemplary.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. My daughter loves it and goes into her sessions excited and happy. Communication is fantastic and every member of staff is lovely. I recommend Green Roots to all my mummy friends, I am so glad my little one gets to be a part of it.

Green Roots is an outstanding nursery in every sense of the word. The staff are highly committed and regularly go above and beyond. They provide half termly progress calls which I find really helpful as well as daily feedback at the end of every day. My son regularly tells me how much he loves nursery which gives me so much comfort inside. Thank you Green Roots for all you do.
