Welcome to the Snowdrop House Montessori Nursery.

Joined to Snowdrop House is a purpose-built safe play area with separate baby garden. The nursery has many shaded areas and a covered area for sand and water play and is ideally located next to a park with open fields and woodland at the back, providing a perfect space for picnics, nature walks and also sports days.

Inside Snowdrop House there are two fully equipped Montessori classrooms, with fully qualified Montessori teachers helping the children to reach their full potential.

The main focus for the oldest children is to prepare for school and life. They also have Lavender, Daisy, Buttercup and Violet rooms on the ground floor together with a Rainbow room and garden room which features an indoor slide and doors leading to the garden for inside/outside playtime.

Upstairs is the baby seedlings suite for the youngest babies to feel safe and nurtured, including a traditional cot room for peaceful rest time, changing areas and dedicated milk kitchen. The Rose room is for older babies and contains a wonderful large soft play area, resources and activities to stimulate their learning.

Lovely staff. My daughter has the best time and learns so much, and we are truly blessed to have found such a caring and wonderful nursery. All my friends are always jealous. My daughter speaks ahead of her peer group and is noticeably engaged.

My son started at Snowdrop House at the beginning of January. He has settled in amazingly well. He always has a smile on his face when I drop him off and when I pick him up.
There are plenty of updates throughout the day with pictures, and he’s always smiling in the pictures.
The updates at the end
of the day are informative, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
I’d highly recommend the nursery.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery; she has so much fun and learns so much! We get regular updates and photos, and the staff are incredibly lovely, especially those in the Lavender room. Massive shout-out to one lady, as she is incredible at what she does and needs more credit.

Our daughter has been at Snowdrop for a couple of months now; she is very settled and is happy to go every day.
The staff seem kind and friendly. The manager is amazing at what she does; she’s been very accommodating for us as a family. She’s always visible and on hand for a chat or to deal with concerns.

are great; they do the messy things I don’t really get the chance to do at home.

Our 9-month-old daughter has just started at Snowdrop House, and we are over the moon with how settled she is already. The whole transition was made so easy with lots of information about the nursery day/routine, settling in sessions, meeting the ladies that would be taking care of our little one etc.
Our daughter comes home so very happy after a fun-filled day, and we have a very detailed review of what she’s done that day; naps, what she ate, what she played with etc, which is still super important at her age.
Myself and my partner are both very happy we chose Snowdrop House and can’t wait to watch our daughter thrive here on her journey up until school age. Thank you, Snowdrop House!

An exceptionally well-run nursery with professional and kind staff. My granddaughter is at the centre of their work, and her learning is paramount. What a fantastic nursery. Our daughter loves going every day. Development has been phenomenal at this nursery. Snowdrop House is a wonderful and supportive nursery. Both of my children have been very happy and supported there. The facilities are great, with children given a lot of freedom to choose their activities and follow their interests. The staff are very caring, and both of my children have made lovely
friends here. The nursery has also been responsive, supporting us as a family with additional needs and putting adjustments in place.

Snowdrop really helped us to transition our nine-month-old. They were supportive of us and her, and send us little pictures during the day. At the end of the first week, it was clear that she was building a lovely bond with the staff already. We are so grateful to have found a nursery that we trust

Snowdrop House is a wonderful nursery, and I couldn't have wished for a better start for my son. The staff are warm, friendly, affectionate, kind and professional, and I had no qualms about leaving my child in their very capable hands when he was just ten months old back in August 2022. I appreciate
the regular updates via the app; they do such lovely activities with the children every day, and my child goes into the nursery and leaves the nursery extremely happy and excited.

Our child has been attending Snowdrop House for two years, and we cannot rate it highly enough. Our child is so happy to go to nursery - they love the teachers, the activities, the space and the food, and have made good friends there.
The team are so kind and supportive and really helped us when going
through potty training. They are so creative with activities and doing crafts and active physical play, as well as helping the children to do counting and alphabet activities.
We’re so happy with the nursery and couldn’t recommend it enough!

All the staff have been fantastic with my child and really help with his development; he is doing so well and learning so much.

With over 20 years' experience in nurseries, my journey has been driven by hard work and commitment, leading me from deputy manager to Senior Early Years Manager. I continue to evaluate and progress my own learning and have recently completed by level 5 lead practitioner qualification. I am truly passionate about supporting families and fostering environments where children can thrive.
