Our daughter has been at Elan since she was 11 months old in September 2018. Right from the start they have been so accommodating to myself and my husband as shift workers and nothing is too much trouble. Our daughter adores nursery and refers to the staff as her best friends. It is like a home from
home. I work in a safeguarding role and I am constantly impressed by Elans standards when caring for our daughter. We feel very lucky that our daughter is at Elan and we have no concerns with how she develops and learns whilst under their care. The staff are so invested in the children, it's a real joy to see. They don't have much outdoor space but the children are out in the woods and parks exploring every day, which I prefer as it's great for their imaginations. I would highly recommend Elan to any friends or family considering sending their child to nursery.

My daughter loves Elan Day Nursery she has come on leaps and bounds! The staff are absolutely fantastic very welcoming and give an excellent level of care for my daughter. They take the children on outdoor adventures which my daughter loves. She has learnt so much. She always comes out with a smile

My husband and I are very pleased with the nursery. My son enjoys spending time there so much that he wants to go there on weekends as well. I am also happy with the individual care they offer. He took longer than usual to start walking. So the physician recommended a few simple exercises which the
practitioners made him do regularly. They accommodate sessions like Yoga, little kickers for an extra fee which is great as it helps them develop additional skills. They also visit parks, libraries, supermarkets which is great. I have noticed that it's not just the key worker but every carer seems to care and spend time with him, that he has developed a strong bond with the majority of them.

Both of my sons have been to Elan, with my youngest currently in the toddler room there. We initially went as I was commuting so it was convenient but I no longer need a nursery near the station, and still wouldn’t choose to go anywhere else. The staff are all warm, attentive and really get to know
the kids inside out. As babies; staff were happy to go with our individual routine/preferences (eg nap times, baby-led weaning, ways of settling to sleep). They were also amazing with my eldest when he potty trained and went through the “terrible twos”. They’ve also responded brilliantly throughout COVID-19, which has been essential to me as I’m a keyworker. There was a bit of disruption when they went through a change of management, but the current team are fantastic, and we are very happy there.

Both of my sons have attended Elan Day nursery and preschool since they were 10 and 11 months old. Probably the best review I can give is that when I pick up, he is full of beans and stories and very tired! It may be perceived that the day nursery has limited outside space but the staff more than makeup
for this by taking them on daily outings from the nursery. Before lockdown, this included going to the local supermarket and attending rhyme time at the library. Since lockdown, adventures into the local park and woodland. I really like the app that provides us with details throughout the day including what the children have eaten and toilet activity. I am very impressed with how the nursery has adjusted following their re-opening. Thank you all!

The staff at Elan nursery have completely calmed my anxiety and put my mind at ease.
I was so relieved to see how seriously they all took social distancing; even though I wasn’t able to drop my son upstairs in the baby room, it showed me just how careful the staff are being. I’m completely confident
that a nursery is a safe place for him to be.
Thank you so much to all the staff at Elan nursery for the work that they do and making a difficult transition so much easier for us parents.
I’m so proud that Elan is our nursery - both my children love it!

Our daughter has been at Elan for just over a year, and we have been extremely impressed with it. She settled in easily and has enjoyed a wide range of activities - we can’t compete at home. She is clearly thriving and has an excellent relationship with the friendly staff who clearly understand her

I used both sites of Haywards Heath Elan for my son and will do the same for my daughter. As a key worker, I have been exceptionally impressed with the service they have provided throughout the recent pandemic. They really have put the children's (and parents) needs first, ensuring they are happy and
safe, taking into account social, emotional and educational needs.
Great leadership from the relatively new manager and consistent first-class genuine care from the nursery team. I currently cannot fault them. Thank you Elan as my daughter always looks forward to her days with you.

The staff at Elan Nursery are an absolute credit to them. They go above and beyond to make sure our children have all the educational and emotional support they need to develop their little characters. My little boy has really developed in his thinking, his speaking, his sociability, very quickly, soon

My daughter has attended Elan Day Nursery since she was 1 year old. She is currently in the pre-school and I couldn't be happier with the care she receives. Elan is a fun, safe and nurturing environment for my daughter but she is also encouraged to build her self-care, independence and social skills.
Staff are friendly and approachable and it is clear they all enjoy working at Elan and really care about the well being and happiness of the children in their care.

Elan is a superb nursery. My daughter's been attending Elan for the last two years, from six months old and she absolutely loves nursery. She loves her main carer and her friends there. She’s learnt a lot and builds her confidence through their daily activities.
Pros:
- Fantastic staff with genuine
passion and care for their work and children
- The location, the hours, and the flexibility for extra days/hours
- Amazing food. All meals made on the day, on-site by a prof chef
- They often go to Clair Park and do lots of activities in the woods, field, and playground
- Regular feeds on child’s activities via an app, often with photos
- Summary of their child’s day during pick up time
- Lots of multicultural activities. Many staff are bilingual and everyone is open-minded for cultural differences
- They tailor the days to your child’s need, ie. started potty training early but they were happy to work with it
Cons:
- Car and buggy parks are tight
- Some activities come at an extra cost

I am so happy to send my daughter to Elan nursery. There are a lot of staff who are all very friendly. There are plenty of fun and educational toys. The staff do lots of activities with the children, such as singing, messy play and even taking the children on outings to the library, park and supermarket.
We get updates on our daughters day via the app, which gives a lot of detail on how much she has eaten, her nappy changes, and what activities she has partaken in. I feel like my daughter is really well looked after and she learns so many different skills.

Elan is a great nursery. My son enjoyed three years here and was well prepared for school. My daughter currently attends the nursery and enjoys her time there. They do something different every day and all of the staff are excellent. The outdoor space is small however the children are taken out daily
to either the park opposite or somewhere else in the local area. We get daily feedback and photos throughout the day and I always feel confident that my child is well looked after.

Our son settled in here so quickly (his second nursery). The staff are always so polite to parents and you are always very well informed. We particularly appreciate the attention they give to his food allergies and feel happy to drop him off each day knowing he’ll have a blast!

This is a good option for many parents. Available hours and ease of drop off, make it handy for commuters.
The majority of staff are friendly and take great care of the children.
There are geographical restrictions with the building. Outdoor space is very limited and pushchair parking can be tricky
at times. However, the children often venture out under supervision to the park/local supermarkets.
Some of the staff are bilingual and it is great our daughter can be exposed to different languages.

I can not recommend Elan Day Nursery enough. The staff are amazing and very friendly, always greet you with a hello and smile. My son loves going into nursery and leaps to the carers when they take him off me and has big smiles. I was hesitant when we enrolled him about the small amount of outdoor space
but they take them out daily on outings to the park, library and supermarket so he’s not missing out. You get regular updates on the app as to what he has done and daily pictures, they are always doing something different to keep the children happy and entertained. Lovely nursery and great location.

Both of our sons have attended Elan and have really enjoyed the variety of activities available, meeting new friends and building good relationships with the staff. Staff have been supportive in dealing with any issues and offered helpful suggestions for us to try and home where relevant. There are
some limited outdoor facilities but the children go out on trips e.g. to the park every day.
