Busy Bees Horsham has been purpose-built to be appropriate for the care and learning needs of babies and pre-school children. A large capacity of 124 places for children makes a significant contribution to parents in the local community, and makes the nursery ideal for children to develop their social skills while being able to get to know and understand others. The service is friendly and takes seriously any parental concerns, while considering each child's individual health and learning needs as an important part of its objectives. Disabled access is in place and the nursery's discovery room is particularly popular with children.

Overall our son seems very happy at the nursery. The group he's moved into helped improve his speech and he has made some new friends. The nursery are slowly helping us with potty training but we're aware it is difficult with a lot of children so think he is unlikely to be asked often if he needs a
wee.
We had a bit of disruption with staff changes and things seem to have settled a bit but we were seeing different staff everyday and each week. We have very little communication with his key worker which is a bit disappointing but others seem to know him well.
He loves being outside which they do everyday and often during they summer. He has enjoyed learning the nursery rhymes, singing them at home and has been practicing his counting.

Busy Bees Horsham has given both our children a brilliant start to their futures. As parents who both have to work full-time, experiencing the care and attention that our children are given at Busy Bees means the world to us. We know we have the right nursery when our 2-year-old runs into the room to
high-five the staff, then hugs me and pushes me out the door. Both our children have loved nursery and our eldest, who is now in school, really thrived thanks to the supportive provision, learning and personal environment the room teams create. The children are treated with great compassion, patience and genuine care. It's clear that the happiness and development of every child are prioritised.
The team and the staff at Busy Bees are second to none and go above and beyond to support the children and parents and I'm grateful for all they do to continue to make Busy Bees an amazing nursery for the children in their care.

My child has attended Busy Bees Horsham for more than two years and I can't recommend the nursery enough. The customer service is always fantastic, staff are very attentive to our needs as a family. The nursery has been a great support and my child's development and progression are a reflection of the
staff's fantastic practice. The learning opportunities are great and the communication is amazing. I am looking forward to the upcoming parents' evening in January.

My son has been a part of Busy Bees since he was 8 months old. From June until today he has grown from strength to strength attending nursery, the help and support that I have been given on the journey as well has been amazing. The team at Busy Bees in Horsham are wonderful and are like a little family.
Thank you so much, this journey for my son wouldn't have gone as smoothly if it wasn't for the carers and management team.

Busy Bees Horsham is a very friendly nursery. My son has been attending for almost 2 years and my daughter will be starting shortly. My eldest always has lots of fun and is very excited as we get to the nursery. They do lots of different activities and there are lots of observations on the parents'
app to let you know how your child is doing (as well as daily reports on pick-up). The staff all seem to genuinely enjoy working with the children and have a good relationship with them. I'm very happy for my children to be attending and would recommend the nursery.

I cannot recommend Busy Bees, Horsham, enough. My son attended for 3 years and is now in school and my daughter is still attending the nursery until she starts school in September 2022.
Busy Bees staff go above and beyond to make sure she is happy and cared for to the best of their ability, nothing
is ever too much trouble.
My daughter has made close bonds with the girls that look after her each day and she cannot wait to get to nursery to see them.
I also think the way Busy Bees has handled the care for the children during the pandemic has been outstanding. It has been a tough time for all of them but they always have a smile on their face to greet us and have made the nursery days as normal as they possibly can, while taking into account extra cleaning and safety measures. For that, we are very thankful as it has enabled us to continue to work from home and home school our son whilst our daughter has been at nursery.
I would totally recommend Busy Bees to other parents.

My daughter has attended Busy Bees since she was 8 months old, she is now 2.
I can not fault the nursery or the staff.
The staff are absolutely wonderful and so friendly. Every afternoon when I pick daughter up they give me a handover and tell me all about daughter's day.
Daughter comes home happy
and tired from playing.
Daughter has learnt so much and her milestones have been on target with help going to this nursery.
Thank you for all time in this last year.

One of the best things I ever did for my son was moving him to Busy Bees at Horsham.
The staff are beyond amazing! They all know my son by name, and are very caring towards him and the other children. They are always enthusiastic and happy, and engage the children in a wide variety of fun and stimulating
activities each day. My son comes home talking about how kind his teachers are to him and telling me about how much fun he had! He has learnt and developed so much since starting there.
The children are evidently very well cared for throughout the day. They are well fed with healthy meals and kept clean and comfortable. I enjoy keeping up with what my son is doing at nursery via the Parent Zone App.
I cannot praise this nursery and it's staff enough. I never have to worry leaving my son there and, most importantly, my little boy is always so happy and excited to go!

I cannot praise Busy Bees enough. My daughter absolutely loves it, so much so she cries to attend more days! The staff are so friendly and communication is excellent. It's such a lovely feeling knowing that your child is being so well cared for. I particularly like the app which is updated throughout
the day and includes development assessments and photos.

Our daughter started at the nursery in 2019, just after her first birthday. She's shy around new people and in new situations but all the staff have been amazing with her. As she has gotten older she has moved rooms a couple of times (the most recent being September 2020) and each time the staff have
been brilliant in helping her settle in quickly. She comes out of nursery smiling each day talking about her friends, room staff and what she has done that day. We couldn't recommend the nursery more.

Busy Bees Horsham has been fantastic at easing my son at this really difficult time. My son was very attached to me given we'd been in lockdown together all year so I was anxious how he'd cope with being away from me in such a different environment but Busy Bees made the transition as easy as possible
for both me and my son.
It really feels like we are all on the same team when it comes to the welfare and education of my son and they are really invested in his progression and working alongside myself and my husband to help my son progress with his development as much as possible.

My child is very happy there. He hasn't been able to settle in other nurseries so well but at Busy Bees he settled straight away he only cried the first day.
The staff are wonderful and the facilities are very good. I feel very comfortable leaving my child there and have peace of mind. Highly recommend
it.

Moving our child to their nursery was the best decision we ever made. The facilities are very good including multiple rooms for different age groups, a spacious garden area and an "Academy" ready for those going to school. The organisation and range of activities is excellent.
The staff are friendly,
helpful and love doing their job. They know our child well and cater for the next steps in his learning very well. We could not ask any more from this amazing nursery.

We are really pleased we chose Busy Bees. The staff are caring and friendly and they have a great outdoor space and soft play. The care is great as it is geared towards development but through play and we think the nursery has only added to her development. We also get photos and observations through
so we can see what she's been up to.

My son has attended Busy Bees for 2 years. He has developed from a shy little boy to a child who is confident enough to speak up and takes full part in all the activities. I drop him off each time happy that he will be well cared for by the staff. I really like that every member of greets my son by
name when we meet them in the corridor. It's a lovely environment and we are very happy to have chosen this nursery.

Current Review Score: 7.9 (7.913)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 7.9 (7.913) out of 10 for Busy Bees Horsham is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.4 out of 5 from 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.553 for Busy Bees Horsham is calculated as follows: ( (31 Excellents x 5) + (12 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 47 Ratings = 4.553
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.36 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Horsham is based on 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.25
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 136 number of registered child places is 27.2. 3 Positive Reviews ÷ 27.2 = 0.11
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
