Young Sussex Nursery (Hove)

My daughter enjoys going to nursery. She has made great connections with all of the teachers. The resources available are great and they are empowered to play and experience what they would like. All admin information from the office is always timely and informative.

Young Sussex Nursery Hove/Aldrington is an excellent, welcoming, well run nursery. From management and all the staff, everyone is friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble! My daughter is leaving for school this year and will miss the lovely carers very much. She is happy that she will still see people when we bring her baby brother to the nursery. It's fabulous that there are male and female key workers at the nursery. Our family can highly recommend this nursery to any other family looking for a high-quality nursery. Excellent activities going on all of the time with lots of interesting visitors! Great timetable.

I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. Both of my children attend and absolutely love it! Everyone, including the managers, are really friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Please don't pay any attention to the negative Ofsted, this is a lovely nursery where your children will be nurtured and have lots of fun.

I always find everyone very friendly and welcoming. My daughter always seems to have had a great day and if she is happy, so are we. Updates at the end of the day are always informative. Her speech and confidence have really blossomed since we started at 'Young Sussex Nursery'. We really like the new online updates as well.

Young Sussex have been fantastic at supporting our son through his early years. Their knowledge and expertise has given us confidence that our son is being supported and encouraged with all aspects of early years curriculum. Our son's happiness and confidence is testament to their caring and holistic approach. We have and will continue to recommend this outstanding nursery to everybody.

I found it really helpful when 'Young Sussex Nursery' introduced tapestry so I could see how my son was doing any time at work. I think 'Young Sussex Nursery' provides a great environment for young children to grow and play. I have no negatives to bring forward.

Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Management have exceeded expectations when getting involved and helping us with attitude related problems regarding our daughter. Helping us put new routines in place, creating familiar boundaries between home and preschool. If we think our daughter is struggling in certain areas, we as parents bring this to the staff's attention and find they incorporate it into that days activities. Overall, we are very happy to have chosen 'Young Sussex Nursery' for our daughter's preschool education.

We are very happy with everything at 'Young Sussex Nursery'. Our son seems happy to come here and he is developing well.

'Young Sussex Nursery' is a great setting- all the staff are caring and they make a real effort to get to know all the children personally. Communication with parents is excellent and the management is very strong, providing brilliant leadership. The nursery's biggest strength is the wide range of imaginative activities that are provided - there are superb visits arranged and always many different different stimulating activities on offer. I would highly recommend the nursery to other parents.

For me, the best thing about this nursery is the staff. Across the board, they are warm and nurturing. I currently have my second child there and I truly feel like they love her and know her very well. They have helped her develop strong friendships and learn positive ways to interact socially. The progression from room to room is well done and makes them feel like they are more and more capable. Although she is not yet 4, they have given her a strong grounding for reading as she has learned all the letters and their sounds. I can't say enough about this wonderful nursery.

I would highly recommend Young Sussex to any parent looking for a nursery for their child. We have two boys who have thrived there for over three years. Staff are competent, caring and attentive and the premises are well equipped with educational and engaging toys. Really can't recommend it enough!!

My daughter has global developmental delay and thrives at Young Sussex. Her speech has come on leaps and bounds. I love how flexible the nursery is, adapting to my daughters needs and treating her as an individual.

Young Sussex is an excellent nursery that I have found. My daughter has build up confident and her development since starting. Lots of activities during in the day. My daughter has grown in imagination. All the staff are very friendly and kind, professional. Glad I had chose YS.

Both my children have attended this nursery and I cannot fault the care they have received. The nursery team have remained consistent throughout the whole time giving much much needed stability and security I have always felt that my children's needs have been met and the nursery has always been proactive whenever the kids have had little 'wobbles'. Everyone is so friendly and obviously happy in their work. A bonus are all the extra activities that are organised through third parties - forest school, cooking lessons, childrens yoga, music and movement sessions, animal visits - to name a few.

I feel that Young Sussex provide excellent day care and my son's confidence has grown while he has been there. Staff are fantastic!

My son started at this nursery in August 2015 and is so happy there. He settled in really easily and all the staff are amazing. He is so enthusiastic about the time he spends at nursery and this must be due to the staff and set up at YS. We are very happy with how he is cared for and the activities and routine.
