Orchard Day Nursery

What a wonderful nursery! We are blown away by the care received here. Pre-school is especially brilliant, setting the children up for school by the best team! The team in all groups we've experienced have been amazing. 2 very happy children at orchard!

Our family has just finished up 7 consecutive years with Orchard Day Nursery and we are so sad to be leaving. They have been the most supportive part of our child-raising village and have been an extension of our family for so many years. We feel lucky to have had their expert advice regarding sleep schedules, weaning, potty training, and more. They have provided our family with love and care throughout the different stages of our children's development, including our eldest transition to primary school. She still considers her teachers from Orchard to be family and is happy to see them whilst in the community. They organised trips to the library, the park and forest school, exposed the kids to extra activities like sport activities, yoga, and music singing sessions, celebrated parents/carers religiously, and are just the nicest most knowledgeable nursery around Hanover. You would be lucky to get a spot at this nursery - apply early as spots get booked up in advance!

Both my children have loved their time at Orchard Day Nursery. They went in every day with a smile and left at the end of the day still smiling. The staff are dedicated, caring, eternally patient and inventive in the activities they decide. We could not recommend Orchard Day Nursery more wholeheartedly.

I made the best decision seven years ago to send my girls to Orchard. They've truly been loved and cared for by all the team throughout the nursery. They have both left ready for the next chapter at school, with amazing memories and fabulous friends. Thank you to you all.

The team at Orchard have looked after my son beautifully! He was there from 14 months until 4 years and 11 months and had great care throughout. The staff are lovely and the management is knowledgeable and professional. For his final year at Orchard, he was in the preschool unit which had a strong community feel and he created bonds with both 'grownups' and his little friends, we will miss it!

Orchard is a wonderful nursery with incredibly genuine and caring staff. They have regular themes and activities that are interesting, diverse and engaging. They are the centre of a great community. My kid loves it there.

Our child loves the nursery, and we feel he’s exceptionally secure and well cared for. The staff are all excellent, communication is good and we are very happy he goes there. The space is great and they do numerous activities.

Incredible nursery. All of the staff are attentive and engaged with the children. They really take the time to get to know the children as individuals and communication back and forth is great. Lovely, diverse and inclusive team. Our little one has felt safe and secure here from day one, and their development has been excellent. There is a wide range of activities available, lots of outdoor time and even trips out to the library and other places for the older children. Would highly recommend.

I'm so happy and feel really lucky that my younger son went to Orchard Day. The care and love the staff give to the children are incredible. Very well organised, they treat their staff very well too. There are a wide range of activities including Spanish and singing and yoga and forest school in the preschool!

My 3 year old and 1 year old attend this nursery. I'm really happy with it and they both love it. I think the staff and management try really hard to deliver great care even in a challenging economic/lockdown time. Staff seem committed and get a chance to progress.

I cannot recommend Orchard Day enough. Communication is excellent, all staff are committed and well trained and, most importantly, children thrive in the setting. We feel incredibly lucky that our children have benefitted from being there and are so thankful for their care.

An excellent nursery, with professional staff who always welcome us with a smile. It's clean, superbly organised, and provides excellent preparation for young ones for junior school. It's why we continue to send our kids there.

The staff at Orchard Day Nursery are fantastic. They really eased my anxieties about sending my (at the time) 8-month-old to nursery. They have a kind and compassionate approach which I think really helped my son to settle in with ease. They are great with their communications and always keep me updated on my son's day. This is my first baby so naturally I was nervous about leaving him at first but now I see how much he enjoys it there and how much more confident he has become. The staff work tirelessly to find fun activities for the children. They take them to the local park where they can see the ducks and swans on sunny days. They have a sensory room and a decent outdoor space too. I highly recommend Orchard Day Nursery to anyone looking for kind committed staff.

It's going to be a sad day when my eldest leaves!

We’ve had our two children go through Orchard Day and have been delighted throughout. All the staff are fabulous and have been wonderful with our kids - they go in and come home with big smiles every day. Nothing but positive things to say about all the team - well done, guys.

My child loves her time there, especially singing and dancing to all their favourite songs!

Such a great nursery - staff are excellent. Our son has bone in leaps and bounds since moving from another local nursery. Our boy is so happy there and always excited to go in the morning. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

Overall, I am so glad I chose Orchard Day; I have never had to worry about my children whilst they have been there and know I have left them in exceptionally capable, caring hands.

Fantastic nursery and preschool with incredibly caring, wonderful staff. Both my children have thrived here and have loved every second. A great range of activities is always available. We will miss the Orchard family terribly as my youngest is starting school this September.

I cannot recommend Orchard Day Nursery enough. Our little one has attended from 13-months in the baby room and is just about to "Graduate" from pre-school.

Orchard staff do an amazing job and are always doing fun and stimulating activities with the kids. They really consider each child's interests when planning activities and have worked closely with us as parents in terms of our little one's developmental milestones. They take the kids out to the park/beach, use the garden/outdoor space regularly.

They communicate well via a number of mediums and also offer "parents evenings" to have feedback on your little one's development/check-in with their key worker.

We follow a vegan diet at home, and the nursery has also been able to offer this to our little one at nursery without any issues.

I can't believe our little one is off to school in September, we will miss the Orchard team massively. Thanks all.
