My daughter attended this nursery from two and a half up until school age. She absolutely adored every teacher in the nursery and couldn’t wait to go in every week. I’ve never felt safer leaving her somewhere. Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.
My son absolutely loves attending Toad Hall, the staff are caring and attentive and clearly love working with the children.
The activities provided are varied, interactive and different each day. The outside area is a good size and is used daily! The mud kitchen appears to be a favourite area.
Food provision is good and the children eat together at tables.
The younger children have time to interact with the older ones, which my son really enjoys and greatly benefits from.
I have no concerns about leaving my son here on a daily basis, even if he is a little distressed when I leave I know it will only last a few moments and the staff are caring and distract him perfectly!
The nursery has a great family feel, we love it. We would highly recommend this amazing nursery.
My son started nursery life in January, he instantly took to the staff. He settled so quick and easily. I like following their Facebook page where I can see all the amazing activities he has joined in with as well as looking at his up to date learning journey. The staff are all to warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this nursery to any family and friends.
Our son has been at Toad Hall Ottershaw since Sept 2017, he was 3 1/2 when he started there. He settled in very quickly and loves it! You should see how excited he is on a Friday morning in anticipation of their weekly dance party!
We are so impressed with the team there and the caring, fun environment they provide. Their enthusiasm is obvious and they really seem to enjoy their jobs, which of course impacts on the happiness of the children. They are also great at educating the kids but in a way that is fun and playful. Overall, highly recommend.
Key people are welcoming and warm and they have found someone who is leading the team in the right direction, They have taught my child to be confident and to try things. They have exciting activities and they do things I would never even thought of doing at home and there is so much messy and sensory play for babies. The Staff are hard working and the ladies have an amazing bond with my child. The manager and her team should be very proud!
When my daughter joined Toad Hall Nursery she had never been looked after by anyone else but instantly felt comfortable with the staff and has since become a confident child who adores every member of the team. Everyday she can't wait to go to nursery and has come on leaps and bounds emotionally and mentally since attending. My daughter is truly happy and gets so much from being there. Thank you guys!
The nursery is friendly and sociable. My child has developed well during his time in the nursery in to a happy, outgoing and confident child. Since the Manager's arrival I feel that the nursery has a more professional feel and it certainly looks cleaner & better organised. When he is there I know he is safe and loved.

Hello, I’m Emma Kelly, Nursery Manager at Ottershaw. I have been with the company since January 2009, starting my journey as a Level 2 practitioner before completing my Level 3 qualification in Childcare and working my way up to Nursery Manager.
