The girls are always extremely welcoming when I drop my son off and I can tell they all have a great relationship with him. I feel comfortable leaving my son whilst I work as I can see he is very happy in his nursery surroundings. We are very excited about the upcoming refurbishment and cannot wait to see what the new baby room will look like!
Such a lovely, warm and friendly environment. My daughter has thrived during her time here so far. She’s made lovely little friends and adores those caring for her.
All of the staff are friendly and now that preschool is in a new room, my son is very happy at the end of each day, he loves it and literally dances and skips out. We also find that in the new room he's much happier at drop-off too, which is a relief after many months of upset first thing in the morning. He has been to two nurseries before attending Shere and 'Friends' is the only one that he has settled in.
The staff update me on what he has been doing at the end of each day and they are very approachable if we have any issues.
Overall we are extremely happy and feel that enrolling him at 'Friends' was the best decision for him.
All of the team have been very friendly and welcoming. My Son has settled very well into the Nursery and has really enjoyed his first week. Whenever I pick him up it looks like they have had lots of fun and he has spoken a lot about their Forest school outings.

I’ve been in the world of early years for over 8 years now – starting out as an apprentice and working my way up through lovely nurseries to become the manager I am today. I have my Level 3 in Early Years Education and a huge passion for helping little ones grow, learn and most importantly... have FUN! I’m all about messy play (The messier the better!), big smiles, and creating magical moments every single day. I absolutely love what I do and can’t wait to welcome you and your little stars to our Shere family!
Hi, I’m Holly and I’m the Deputy Manager here at Shere Day Nursery. I’ve been working in childcare for 6 years and I absolutely love what I do. Watching children grow, learn new things, and reach their milestones is the most rewarding part of my day.
I’m a big fan of messy play – the messier, the better! It’s such a fun way for children to explore and express themselves. I also live on a farm, which the children love hearing about – there’s always something new and exciting to share!

I absolutely love working with children and being part of their early learning journey – every day is full of fun, laughter, and new adventures. When I’m not at nursery, I enjoy spending time with my family and my wonderful son. I’m also a big fan of being outdoors and getting active – whether it’s playing football or exploring climbing frames! I’m so excited to be part of the Shere team and can’t wait to get to know you and your little ones!
