Kids Inc Day Nursery - Guildford

Keep up the good work.

We instantly liked Kids Inc because it is in custom-built premises, really well designed for kids (high door handles, low windows, separated outdoor areas for big/small kids etc.). Our son has been there since he was 4 months, and although I was concerned because he was the youngest they had ever taken, they went out of their way to accommodate him, making sure he was involved in all activities even though he couldn't actively participate, rather than being left in his bouncer to watch. There is a nice range of older and younger staff, and although turnover was an issue last year, they now seem more settled and in particular, I hope the managers stay. My only gripe is the slowness of introducing new policies - despite claiming to support SNAP (sustainable nurseries against plastic). I have yet to see solid evidence of changes made and worry they are too tightly controlled by head office to allow for local initiative. Overall, a friendly, positive place.

My daughter has been going here; for more than two years now. The staff are excellent, they work really hard with the kids and address any concerns parents have. My daughter also seemed to enjoy the food.

We love this nursery. We moved from London and were nervous about a new nursery. My daughter has now been going here for two years. She loves going. The staff are really friendly and the activities are great. We will be sending our son there also when the time comes. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

My daughter has been at the nursery for nearly a year now and the staff have really helped with my daughter's speech delay. She has come on so well and I can't thank the girls enough. I don't often do the pick-up, but on the occasions I have, the girls have been really welcoming and friendly.

The food and drinks provided are plentiful and offer a good variety. My daughter has become much happier, confident, social and curious since attending. It's a great nursery!

The staff that work with the children are amazing. I am concerned about the high volume of staff leaving. My son is very happy in this nursery and the kids seem fulfilled. My son has made great friends and the parents seem fabulous too. No complaints bar I would like to feel more comfortable on the outside management to keep the staff happy. Happy staff happy kids!

Both our children have been very happy at nursery and my daughter moved on to school very easily as she had been so well prepared. The staff in the rooms are fantastic and always ready with a hug or a smile at drop off. The staff turnover is high, including the management which is a downside but overall will be sad when our son leaves to start school in September.

The staff are fantastic and are always helpful. They are all great with my son and I am very happy with everything at Kids Inc.

The teachers are calm and the space is clean and tidy. Children are encouraged to become independent in their self-care and choosing. Love the tapestry system the nursery uses and the instant access to their observations. It is also lovely to be able to add our own adventure. Particularly like the daily feedback and the connection between the adults and the children.

Our daughter has been at Kids Inc Day Nursery from summer 2016 until she recently left to start school. She totally loved going to nursery and was always excited to go, enjoyed all the activities and made lots of good friends. The staff are great, really caring and put real effort into caring for and teaching the children. The menu was always good too and there was rarely a day when our daughter didn't eat everything she was given (and sometimes seconds too) A great nursery which we'd recommend.

I pick up for my sister and her family and the nursery has a lovely feel. The staff are also friendly and welcoming.

My toddler loves nursery, he jumps out of my arms when he see's the door. He is always happy when we pick him up. The staff are all welcoming, supportive, caring, kind, friendly, passionate and good communicators to parents. The whole nursery is always clean and tidy and well set up and resourced. I love that any time of day the staff are always interacting and watching children. The display boards are lovely and we both enjoy tapestry and following his learning journey. Can't thank the management and staff enough for looking after our baby boy so well.

Kids Inc is an excellent nursery and our daughter has thrived there. Despite moving to the other side of town we've stayed because the care, attention and development by staff is second to none.

This is a very good nursery. The fact it is purpose built and has air con, for example, makes a big difference compared to nurseries crammed into an old Victorian building.

Our son has been very happy here from day one to be honest. Having their own kitchen onsite makes a huge difference to the kids getting proper food. Several others will just have food bussed in every day.

The earlier comment about staff turnover is true, but I think that's a problem with nurseries in general. The outdoor space here is also very good for the kids.

My children have been at Kids Inc for the last two years and I have always been really happy with the level of care they receive and the activities they offer. Above all, I have always felt that the staff really care about the children, take time to get to know them and then go to great efforts to engage with them in a way that works for my children.

I am very happy with the care my son receives at Kids Inc. The staff across the nursery are friendly and welcoming. Those working with him directly are caring, conscientious, enthusiastic and energetic. The new manager is efficient and deals with queries quickly.

My daughter thrived at Kids Inc Guildford, she enjoyed the social surroundings, the variety of activities, including baking and gardening. The staff always took great care of her and was so sad when she came to leave. Now my son has started, it’s reassuring to get the regular feedback verbally daily and on Tapestry updates. He is a very fussy eater and the girls have been so supportive (and patient) with trying to improve this. I always see him getting cuddles, which is what I want for my baby at this stage. He loves the music and messy play also.

The menu has a lot of variety, my daughter always enjoyed the food, it’s clean, being a purpose-built facility also helps you feel that the children are safe.

The price of this nursery is comparable with others and I feel the care my children receive(d) and the developmental progress has given them a great start for “big school”.

This is a wonderful place, very caring towards the children and supportive of parents. They always have loads of activities to excite and stretch the children. My kids adore it there and love the staff, who feel like part of my parenting team. I would recommend this Nursery to anyone.

Unfortunately, we are moving and I am very sad that my son will be leaving. Otherwise, he would be there until primary school.
