Kids Inc Day Nursery - Guildford

Kids Inc Guildford is a fabulous nursery setting with the best staff who really care for the children. My son has been going since he was 10 months old and my daughter started at 14 months. They absolutely love it and have developed such a strong bond with the teachers and one in particular, who is a Kids Inc Guildford Legend! She has been both of my children’s key worker and has done so much with and for them. She’s there when they need a cuddle and she teaches them so much - she’s helped teach my son how to write his name and to recognise the letters as well as his numbers, and my daughter follows her around the room. Nothing is ever too much for her and she’s always at the end of the phone if we have any concerns or queries. She’s always smiling and happy and is a natural with the kids - she’s definitely the reason my 2 love it so much! Thanks!

I have been so impressed with this infant care for my son. He started at 22 months of age and is in need of some supportive services (OT/ST) and the daycare has been fully on board with helping him. The staff is so kind and he has taken so well to everyone. The 1 on 1 assistance provided to him has also been outstanding. Very pleased!

To start with a very well planned, and informative before the actual event. The staff are nothing but friendly and approachable. In addition, as a parent that I can tell that my daughter has developed great relationships with her key worker and other staff, as to the feedbacks that we have received regarding my daughter’s developments were conclusive and delivered in a positive manner. As for the developmental feedback, there isn’t any apart from I wish we had extra few mins on top of the original time slot, as it was a little bit of feeling rushed. However, it is understandable considering the current situation. Overall, it was a great experience and educational as parents. Thanks so much for the service and support that you have provided to me and my family.

Mia absolutely loves nursery and is only 1 year old. She has been there since she was 9 months old. The team have been absolutely fantastic with her and us. We happened to join during a transition of management but since then the communication has been fantastic. I don't envy anyone trying to run a nursery under the current circumstances and it is a huge testament that they have kept on top of COVID the whole time. This is very reassuring as a parent knowing the right precautions are taken. Tapestry is great being able to get regular updates and photos to our inbox! There seems to be a great selection of activities to do too, and I would certainly eat there seeing their menu every day!

We chose this nursery based on location and opening hours (needed a minimum of 8-6). That left us with a choice of two nurseries in Guildford. We opted for this nursery due to the large outside space, and quiet (low traffic) area. When choosing the nursery, the Manager was lovely and really informative and reassuring (we're first time parents and had a lot of questions!).

After a slightly rocky start, involving a PCR test and period of self isolation due to her settling in sessions, our daughter (now 14 months) has settled in well and absolutely loves nursery! Her key worker is amazing with her, and our daughter adores her. It's also clear that she adores her back which is incredibly reassuring, and all I can ask for as a parent.

The nursery have also been great at working with us to resolve an issue of recurrent nappy rash, complete with adjusting her diet to match her adjusted diet at home to rule out food intolerances.

We cannot recommend them more highly!

My daughter is now three years and four months old and she has been going to the nursery since she turned two. She loves the nursery so much that she cries every weekend asking why can't we go and play at the nursery. All staff members are very helpful and what we like the most is that they use an app to post pictures of her doing some activities and these are priceless moments that we love knowing about. My daughter follows a special diet and the nursery provides that, they also helped me with her potty training as well and that went smoothly. During lockdown the teacher kept sending us home activity packs to entertain her, this was so special. We all love the nursery and really happy everything that they provide.

Our daughter loves attending nursery and all the staff are welcoming and amazingly kind. She has really come out of her shell and blossomed with all the help and encouragement of the staff.

A brilliant experience overall with Kids Inc. The key workers and staff are exceptional. The standard of food is really high. The use of tapestry updates are well managed. My son is developing and very happy there. We would like flexibility perhaps once or twice a year (with notice) to move a day around if this could be reviewed.

My daughter is so happy when she sees the red bag packed by the front door as she knows she's going to nursery and that just sums it up for me!

My son has attended Kids Inc since he was 10-months-old and he's now 3 years old. He has generally been reaching his milestones behind the average child and he has now been diagnosed with being extremely Hyper Mobile. As a result of this, he needs Orthotics to be inserted in his shoes to try and help his balance and gain strength. His two main key workers have been great over the past few weeks since being given this feedback, to work with him on exercises to improve his strength which includes a lot of outside play and obstacle courses, etc. I feel we are seeing the benefit of this already. Also, life at home has been quite stressful over the past few months whilst we have been going through lockdown, etc. As a single mum, this has at times been really hard on both of us. His two main key workers and the acting manager has been very encouraging to me and I have really appreciated all the positive feedback they have given me. Their words put a big smile on my face. Thank you.

My daughter has been going to this nursery since she was 10-months-old, so she has now been at the nursery for more than 2 years. She absolutely loves going to the nursery. From day one she was very happy and I have always felt the atmosphere there to be the most welcoming and caring. All the staff are excellent and extremely polite and friendly. They take really good care and we can see that when we pick her up in the evening and she is so happy. They teach a lot through games and playtimes, as we see our daughter showing us different things she has learned. Even during this COVID-19 they have taken all the measures and given us enough reassurance that we feel confident in sending her in. Special thanks to the team.

My youngest is currently attending Kids Inc in Guildford and absolutely loves it. He has developed great bonds with the staff and made lots of friends. My eldest also attended nursery before going to school two years ago. He was very well prepared for the reception, and the nursery setting helps them to be confident and independent, which means a great basis for school. Communication with the nursery is easy and straightforward. Main positive features are the great staff (many I have known for years now) and the actual facilities, especially the outdoor areas!

The staff at this nursery are nothing short of outstanding. Very caring and lovely girls who look after the kids every need. My 2-year-old could not be happier and considers all of them her friends; she skips in every day and is always happy when we pick her up. The staff have coped amazingly well during the lockdown. We have had a seamless transition back to the nursery, and that’s all down to the staff. I like the fact that the staff also have a varied range of activities for the kids from painting to playing in the tent outside to singing nursery rhymes. My daughter absolutely loves nursery- she is so happy there and developing so well. She's been there for almost 2 years and the staff have been incredible, particularly over the last year- we cannot say thank you enough to the team. Two members of staff, in particular, have been with my daughter most of the way through the past 2 years and are wonderful. They really care about the children and do so many fun activities. We have been particularly impressed by management's handling of COVID - with great policies in place to keep the children safe but also making it as normal as possible for them. A fantastic nursery, we can't recommend it enough.

I would recommend Kids Inc to everyone, it is such a great nursery and we are so happy we chose it for our child.

The crumbs, the paint, the pen and the smiles show us on a daily basis just how much our son enjoys his days at Kids Inc Guildford (although they do try to clean him up!). At just over 2 now, he has been attending since he was 9-months-old and we are amazed with what he has learnt. He’s absolutely smashing it and has a fab time with all his friends and his fabulous key worker every day. There is a great range of activities for the kids to do, a varied, wholesome menu to enjoy (regularly enjoying 2 portions of everything!) and lovely outside spaces in the garden and the meadow. It’s in a quiet area so no traffic pollution. Having to leave my child every day is only made bearable by the fact that he is being cared for in a place he likes to be and by genuine people who are passionate about what they do.

I would 100% recommend this nursery!

The nursery provides a warm, welcoming and safe environment for my children. They respond well to parent feedback and uphold very good standards of care. I would recommend this nursery to any parent in the local area.
