Busy Bees in Thames Ditton is a Premier League nursery.
Every time I drop off/pick up my 3 year old, structured learning play is everywhere in abundance - it’s wonderful!
The staff bring the kids' experience to life with love, attention and enthusiasm that is both reassuring and touching.

Excellent - my son and I love it!

My second son started at Busy Bees in September 2018, into the baby room. This was where I wanted him to go after my other son had enjoyed his time here (from baby to pre-school).
The staff are always enthusiastic about the children. They are attentive enough to recognise their small developments as well as when there are off days. Certainly, in the baby room, there are some very creative activities. In the pre-school room, they did a great job of helping my son with the alphabet, days of the week and paying attention!
The outdoor space is fantastic, with different sections for each age group and lots of trees to shade them during sunny days.

We're very happy here.

Our daughter has attended Busy Bees for a year now and absolutely loves it. Some days she doesn’t want to come home!

The staff are extremely caring and engaged with the children and support the children with learning and fun. There are some lovely additional touches such as tea parties, Christmas presents for the children etc which the parents are invited to. There used to be fruit and snacks for the parents in the morning as well which was welcomed on the way to work but this seems to have stopped and would be welcomed back.

We’re very happy with our choice and feel comfortable knowing our daughter is happy here.

Both my children have been to this nursery and both have loved it. The staff have been brilliant in all the rooms and I have seen a lot of improvements in the pre-school room over the last few years, in terms of layout, toys and preparing the children for school.

My son has attended Busy Bees for 8 months, he really enjoys it and has learnt a great deal. All the team are friendly and caring and his key worker is excellent. He really enjoys the extra activities offered especially Teddy tennis. The outdoor space is particularly good.

There are some fabulous staff at Busy Bees. Other staff could be more cheerful, even if at least at drop off or pick up.

There are some really fun events organised at the nursery too. Easter, Christmas etc are absolutely gorgeous.

It would be useful to see the manager more. Previous managers have made a point of being more visible, I hardly see the current manager.

It's good to see the investment in redecoration and children's toys.

A lovely touch is some breakfast snacks for parents on their way to work. Thank you!

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees in Thames Ditton since she was 8 months old. I was really worried about leaving her in the 0-2 room due to her not being able to crawl or walk yet, but the staff in the baby room have been amazing with her and have followed her routine that we have at home every step of the way, which I was so pleased with due to her still needing to have a morning and afternoon sleep and sometimes another one after tea. Her key worker was amazing and then sadly left which I was very worried about as she doesn't like new people, but they all make such a big effort to make sure she was alright. She is now so confident with all children and very happy at nursery, she sometimes has a few tears on drop off but stops about 30 seconds of leaving her.

The range of foods they have are brilliant and they always have something different and yummy to eat. They have lovely outdoor space and always use the garden throughout the summer to the winter.

Our daughter has attended the nursery since May. All of the staff are always very friendly and seem genuinely excited at the arrival of every single child. The outdoor space is excellent and is well used, even in winter months. The children always seem to do lots of activities and our daughter is constantly coming home with paintings and other crafts. The space is nice and bright and the rooms are big with a good range of activities. We'd definitely recommend to other parents.

We transferred from a different Busy Bees due to work but my little guy runs straight into nursery every day and I was so worried about begin with. The staff tell me he has a great day every day and he certainly comes back tired in the evening!

As soon as my child enters the premises and we get to hang their bag and coat up, we become enthusiastic of what the day might bring.

Especially on a cold dark morning, they can be reluctant, but that soon changes when we are greeted by the staff and the room is busy with excited children.

I feel re-assured that my child will be taken care of and enjoy the play and crafts and interaction, and encouragement from staff is clear. The chef's on-site fire my child's imagination and I'm amazed at what gets eaten that wouldn't at home.

Any parent hopes their child is content and happy in a nursery setting. This nursery offers that through its caring staff and managers. Keep up the good work team.

Leaving my children at nursery is a guilt that I'm sure every parent feels. However, this feeling is eased with the staff at Busy Bees Thames Ditton. Every day each member of staff welcomes my two children with enthusiasm and smiles that lasts all the way to when I pick them up at the end of the day.

I really do feel that the staff care about each child that walks through the door and are invested in their development and well-being.

What confirms my positive feelings towards the nursery and the great work the staff do is that my children are happy. My eldest ALWAYS talks fondly about his 'teachers' and what they have taught him that day.

My son has been coming to this nursery since he was 11 months old and has moved through from the babies room, 2-3s and is now in the 3+ Dolphins room (having been over the years full time and part time). It is a safe environment with a huge outdoor area, which can be accessed direct from the room. They are always learning new things with lots of different arts and crafts taking place. They celebrate the holidays - with the most recent being Halloween, where they had a special afternoon tea and prize for the best dressed. They seem to have a good healthy menu which changes each season and the staff are very caring and attentive, with quite a few having been there for many years. The nursery is currently being refurbished, so now doubt will be an even better space. It is quite a modern building which I understand was purpose built.
