Our children started with Toad Hall, Massetts Road in January 2021. Neither had been in a nursery setting and after the first year of the pandemic, I was naturally anxious about how they'd settle in. I needn't have been worried. The team at Toad Hall have been supportive and nurturing. The children settled in seamlessly and have become more confident. Toad Hall provides an exciting, playful and inviting learning environment for all children and also equally support parents too. Their on-site kitchen provides tasty and nutritious meals which mean that we don't have to worry about the children's diet either. Overall, Toad Hall are a lifesaver for parents looking for a high-quality learning environment for their children.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased that you are happy with the care we provide for your children and that they enjoy their time with us. We will pass on your kind words to our team.
My 3 and 2-year-old now go here. I live in Oxted and travel all the way here because I wouldn’t be happy with anywhere other than here! They are always so happy to communicate and understanding. My children always come out happy; they have amazing facilities for the children! I have never had a bad word to say about Toad Hall!
My son also was learning languages here! It’s very reassuring that at such a young age they can play and learn, and it’s not all play! My 2-year-old has a dummy in his mouth at home and won’t let me take it, at Toad Hall, they manage to take it off him all day, and his speech is actually coming along!
Thank you so much for adding all the fun and learning to my children’s childhood that you have and you do! Also, breakfast lunch and dinner provided if you do a full day.
Good service provider and they look after the kid well. They have friendly staff who are always hands on anytime you have questions or concerns. All they need improvements on is their timing when parents are outside to pick up or drop off kids, apart from that they are excellent.
My son goes here and enjoys his days there. The staff are all amazing with the children. They keep you informed with everything they do. I would recommend the nursery very highly. We picked the nursery as it stood out from the rest.
My daughter has to been going to Toad Hall for a while now, and I could not be more impressed! The staff are so friendly and nice, whenever I tell my daughter she’s going to nursery, she gets so excited; she has also grown and developed so well with their care; it is amazing to see. I would highly recommend this nursery!
My son just started his journey here in February 2021 and I am very pleased so far. The staff are friendly, nice and my son loves to go here. I would definitely recommend this place to parents! I am very happy with my choice!
My son has been at Toad Hall Nursery Horley for six weeks now, he started just after his first birthday. Considering lockdown and my son not having left my side or been looked after by anyone else since he was born, he quickly settled into the nursery. I know that the manager went and sat with him on his first few days as he settled in, which I think was great and very hands on. The ladies are all really friendly and bubbly and on pick up they give you a run down of what their day has been like and what they have eaten. I was so nervous to leave my son at a nursery but now I have no worries at all. I would highly recommend Toad Hall Nursery Horley.
My daughter started at Toad Hall Nursery Horley back in 2017 when she was only nine months old. The staff were great at putting me at ease when it was so daunting for me to leave her and return to work. She remained there until she left last year at the age of four and she loved her time there. My little boy started there during the pandemic in July last year. Again, the staff have been amazing at helping me to adjust to not being able to settle him in the room at drop off and all the other changes they have made to keep everyone safe. I would definitely recommend this nursery and as I have been with them so long, most of the girls feel like friends.
The best nursery in town! Lovely staff and happy kids. My daughter has been attending here from 2019 and she is very confident, very smart and attached to the staff. I highly recommend Toad Hall Nursery Horley for your children.
My daughter started at Toad Hall when we moved about three and a half years ago. She settled in very quickly and had a strong rapport with the staff who cared for her (they still get a full rundown on how she's doing whenever she sees them). My son has been at the nursery since he was a year old, and I feel that he is genuinely loved by the staff there, especially a few he has been particularly close to. They almost feel like family, and I always know he is being well cared for. He had an accident while at the nursery and was in hospital overnight. The staff were so dedicated, taking amazing care of him until we could get there and staying in contact well beyond working hours to check how he was doing. He starts school in September, and we will all be so sad saying goodbye; they have done a brilliant job preparing him for school too, he is doing amazingly with his letters, writing his name and doing basic maths already. Guys, you will be so missed by all of us!
Our daughter started in the toddler room, and she is now a confident and happy preschooler! She settled quickly into both rooms and has made some really strong friendships. It is lovely hearing about the days that the staff have planned for her.
Our son started in babies and is now moving up to toddlers. He settled quickly in the nursery and since starting, he has developed so much!
We love looking at their learning journals to see what they have been up to. It’s also so lovely seeing the posts on Facebook of the fun activities that they are being provided with. The nursery is a bright and clean environment, and it’s great to know that our children are getting a healthy and varied diet.
Having been a parent here for ten years this year, I cannot fault the nursery and the staff in any way. All four of my children have enjoyed their days at Toad Hall Nursery Horley. The office staff and managers are always on-top form. Keep up the great work ladies.
My eldest son went here for 4-years, and my youngest is currently attending and has since 2017. The special needs coordinator picked up on both boys extra needs and started the ball rolling and helped my eldest transition to school. She is currently putting so much work into my youngest, so he's ready for school in September. She always goes above and beyond, and both my boys adore her! All the staff are great here, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Also, the way they have all handled the pandemic is amazing, as my son isn't scared by the extra measures in place, but is still just as safe and happy. He loves his nursery days and all the staff so much and will miss them all when he leaves for school. The food is fantastic too, and my son often has seconds! He has also started learning phonics and numbers too and can write most of his name. Nice to be able to work knowing my child is safe, well cared for and happy.
My daughter started at Toad Hall in Jan 2020 when she turned 2. She was initially very unhappy to be left but the staff were very good at reassuring me. During the lockdown, they gave out useful information to prepare kids for going back and since June, my daughter hasn't looked back. She loves going every day and talks about the staff all the time which shows me how happy she is there. She eats everything there and the activities are very well pitched for her age. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The covid routines are very well delivered. Their facebook page is updated regularly with all the fun days they have. I am so happy to leave my child with such professional and experienced staff, as they know her well and encourage her, especially whilst she has been potty training.
My recently turned 3-year-old has a huge problem with eating, not just because he's fussy, but he seems to have developed a fear of eating so watching him go 8-9 hours a day without food at times has broken me!! The nursery girls have tried so many techniques to help him overcome this and I finally feel like we've had a breakthrough. He's eaten ALL day and he's now home still eating and we're about to have chocolate in bed to celebrate. Anyone that knows him will know what a HUGE step this is for us and my partner and I cannot thank the girls enough.
Dedication and perseverance were key and they did it!
1st step complete. Thank you guys.
My child was with Toad Hall Nursery for about a year and a half and always loved it from the start. Staff were always very welcoming and always made me and my child feel comfortable. They were always making and doing new things and always said how much she loved story/circle time! There was always a new song to sing me. I was happy knowing she was there and being looked after. Playing in the garden was always her favourite and I loved that there was free flow so they could come in and out when they wanted. Highly recommend the nursery and all the staff were lovely.
Toad Hall Nursery - is home from home for our little ones, my son started at the small age of 9 months and soon thrived and loved everyone there he stayed until we moved areas , so at the age of 2 leaving a Nursery he loved so much was hard for all of us - he had friends and learnt so much - the staff always knew his name and were VERY accommodating with extra days etc due to work shifts! If I could take the Nursery with me when I moved I would have done - it’s going to be hard to find one that will match up xx
I can’t express in words how amazing this nursery is! Both my boys went here since they were babies and they loved it! As they only attended one day a week we were naturally apprehensive about how they would settle but the staff are so friendly and approachable, neither had any problems! Thank you, Toad Hall!
My daughter is now 2 and 8 months and has been going to Toad Hall since November 2017 and she has thrived there. As a bilingual child, I was a bit worried about how she would adapt, but I soon realised I need not worry. The staff have been looking after her with much care and attention and made her settling in easy. Her English has improved enormously and we were very pleasantly surprised to hear her telling us about her day at nursery, singing the songs from Jo Jingles or showing off moves learnt at gymnastics. She loved the yummy lunches prepped in-house and most often asked for a second portion. The newly renovated facilities are absolutely gorgeous, bright and spacious and encouraging learning and creativity through play. The nursery was very accommodating to us changing pick up and drop off arrangements and even arranged a trip to be the farm for the nursery children and parents, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We will miss the everybody at Toad Hall!
My son, who is 8 months old, has been attending Toad Hall Horley for 2 months now and he absolutely loves it. The staff are so warm, welcoming and friendly it is like our second home. They are always so helpful and supportive when I have any questions or queries, I feel like I can go to them whenever I have a problem.
The nursery in general as amazing facilities that cater to all ages from the smallest of babies to their oldest preschooler. They never leave a child out and ensure that everyone is included in all their activities, outings and family open days. We have previously attended their Christmas family days and had the most fantastic time bonding with all the other children and parents. There is such a feeling of unity, it's lovely.
I would highly recommend Toad Hall Horley to anyone who is looking for childcare for their children. We love it

Hello, I'm Kerry, the proud Manager of Horley. With over 25 years of experience in Early Years education, my journey with Toad Hall began in 2004, when they first opened their doors!
Embarking as an Apprentice, I've navigated through diverse roles, ultimately reaching my current leadership position. Along this path, I've garnered a wealth of knowledge and practical insights, fostering environments where children not only participate but flourish. My academic foundation includes a Foundation Degree in Early Years.
My commitment extends to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). I've attained a Level 5 qualification in SEND and earned recognition as a finalist at the prestigious NMT awards for two consecutive years for my contributions in this area.
My passion lies in supporting both children and families within our community, while also serving as a mentor and advocate for our dedicated staff. I believe in forging strong partnerships with parents, inviting them to share in their child's journey, and fostering a sense of belonging within the Toad Hall family.
