Bright Horizons Guildford Day Nursery and Preschool

We are very happy with this nursery and would happily recommend it to friends and family. Both our daughters have attended this nursery since they were one year old. The support and care that all staff including managers provide for the children and parents are phenomenal. Children leave this nursery well-prepared for school with all necessary knowledge and skills, which they are developing daily at the nursery, completing well thought out activities, tasks, games and educational milestones.

Our son has been going to nursery over six months now and he really loves all the activities and all the members of staff. Everyone is lovely and they genuinely care about the best for our kids. On a daily basis they do really lovely educational and fun activities and the facilities are clean and really nice. I want to say an extra thank you and congratulations to the manager and the management team for always trying to help out our family and for always addressing any needs we might have. Thank you all, you are amazing!

Deciding to put our little boy into nursery was difficult and we were naturally anxious about how he would cope in the new environment. We needn't have worried at all; he loves it and has strong relationships with the staff. The team are wonderful and genuinely care about the children in their care. They always have time to tell us about our son's day and the updates on the app mean that we can see what he is up to during the day. I cannot recommend Bright Horizons enough.

We were so anxious taking our daughter to the nursery after her initial 1.5 years spent home with mother/grandparents. Thanks to the support of the wonderful staff at Bright Horizons, she settled in really well and now, a year on, going to nursery is one of our daughter's favourite things! The facilities are great and most importantly, we trust the staff. They seem like real experts at what they do and I feel confident every time we drop her off that she will learn new things and have an amazing day. An excellent nursery with the children being the main priority! Staff go the extra mile to ensure that my son settled in when starting and that continued with my son moving to older rooms. All staff know about your child and not just your child’s key worker, ensuring that they thrive in the nursery environment!

Our two-and-a-half-year-old loves going to nursery here. She loves the staff there and is always excited to go. The team looking after her, do a great job and support her development. I also particularly like all the activities they set up and do with the children. Our daughter is always bringing something home that she has made. Lovely, clean environment, home-cooked food and a fun outdoor play area when the sun is shining. She has made lots of friends there.

Both of our children have loved Bright Horizons, Guildford. It’s an absolutely lovely nursery and the staff are so dedicated to the children. The staff are incredibly friendly and totally invested in the happiness of the children that attend. Full marks from us!

A fantastic Team that really do their best. Good updates via the app and lovely interaction with staff. For a non purpose built building, they do amazing with what they have. Parking and University interaction could be better and not cheap. But would recommend for the area.

Although I'm not the best at keeping up with what's going on, we are sent regular information about events and theme days with plenty of time to manage our plans for them.

We have had a great experience with this nursery. Both our kids have a kind and caring key person and everything is organized well. The app is particularly useful to see their development and what they’ve been doing during the day.

Our experience with the nursery has been a delight. The environment is clean and nice and the teachers show a genuine interest in the welfare and development of the kids. They also provide regular updates on their activities and progress. Happy to recommend this nursery to others.

My daughter went through the nursery from the age of 1 and left when she started school. She had an amazing time and it certainly set her up well for school as she is flourishing. My son currently attends the nursery and loves going in to see his friends and the people who look after him. He has an amazing bond with his key worker and the staff at the nursery are great. So welcoming, a real family atmosphere. They are so helpful and nothing is too much bother. The activities the children do are wide ranging and things I wouldn’t think to do! And they love the food they have there. I certainly would have no issues recommending the nursery to anyone, it’s outstanding.

What I love about this nursery the most is their commitment to making sure the kids are well and looked after. I love that both staff and management are approachable, that we are greeted in the morning with a smile, that the staff know ins and outs about my little one and that they take interest in how he's feeling and doing. This individual approach enriches the care they deliver because then you know your child is not just a number in a spreadsheet that creates profit, but a real tiny human that is well looked after and liked by everyone.

The key workers at the nursery are exemplary. They are extremely caring and attentive to the children and support their development and learning through a great assortment of activities. Even with difficult situations within the class, the workers dealt with them in a professional way always putting the children first.

Excellent nursery, the little one loves it, and he learns so much there, more than at home! The staff is amazing, they have really close connection to the children and are always a great help with any problems we are facing. I'm particularly impressed by the activities they organise with real animals - observing hatching chicks, holding real snakes and spiders, or just digging for wiggly worms in the garden. Thank you!

We are very pleased with the nursery. Our daughter started going there when she was 5 months old, three days per week and she adjusted very quickly. The staff are always taking good care of her and they organise many learning activities that engage over and the other kids. Our little one is always happy when we drop her off and pick her up. The environment is always clean and the facilities are well-maintained. The management and the rest of the staff work hard and they do their best to maintain high standards. Overall, the nursery’s environment is excellent and it is highly recommended.

People at the nursery are indeed caring, patient and full of love for the kids. We are happy to see our kid is enjoying his stay there. Love the app that updates parents timely on how the kids are doing at the daycare. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing start to our time at Bright Horizons, Guildford. Our daughter is two and has been there for about five months. They made sure she was settled and learned her routines and needs quickly and she now absolutely loves it. December was lovely, there were so many holiday-themed activities, which our daughter thoroughly enjoyed.

My little one is very happy here. She goes to the nursery with smile very day now. The staff are very kind, patient, and reliable, especially the key person. We also like their daily record and observation a lot.
