All concerns I have had, I have raised and these were all professionally dealt with in a timely manner. Ensuring I am happy with my daughter's care is paramount including her safety.
With my poor organisational skills they have always been accepting and understanding whilst helping me with applications to TFC/ UC or school applications.
I have built a community with the parents and other children who attend, which has increased my support network. The diverse community has increased both my knowledge and my daughter's knowledge making it very inclusive.
The only difference to nurseries around my home is the food options, this being said I would rather pay a little less and ensure my daughter is cared for highly over a variety of food.

The passion they have for the children shines through, the whole team is ready to listen and help in whatever way they can, nothing Is too much trouble.
We get daily updates on what they have done including pictures which is really nice to have a little snapshot of their day.
My children are cared for as if they are their own, the connections I have with their key workers is second to none and I am going to be really sad when my youngest leaves and I won't see their welcoming faces

Alex especially enjoys spending time with Amie, his key person, who has been taking care of him since he started. Amie is very patient and thoughtful in guiding Alex to learn and explore. In the beginning, Alex would often cry, but he quickly grew to trust and rely on Amie, which has been wonderful to see.

My son joined Bright Horizons Day Nursery in September 2025, and it has been amazing for his learning and development. Since starting, his communication and emotional skills have improved significantly and he loves going in each day. The staff are so kind, caring and approachable and they always go the extra mile for both the children and their families. They always keep me updated on how his day has been, his progress and also take the time to follow his routines from home. There are always amazing activities for the children that are both great for their learning and enjoyment, as well as calm and relaxing areas. The indoor and outdoor spaces are both brilliant. My son has attended other nurseries before, but this one truly stands out. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he is happy, safe and cared for. I feel very lucky to have found this nursery and been able to secure him a space here. I would highly recommend it to any family looking for a nursery for their children.

My daughter has now been with Bright Horizons Guildford since she was 13 months and she's about to move up to the preschool room. All the staff have been excellent and she seems to be thriving in the environment they provide. They have been not only incredibly supportive of my children but also of me. I had to leave my children at nursery from 6 months, which was incredibly difficult. I visited every single nursery within a 30 minute radius from Godalming and i stand by my choice, i truely believe its the best nursery in the area.
My son also has some extras needs, which we found out from 2 years old. BH Guildford SENCO Elly is in a league of her own. Thanks to her we have an EHCP going into our son staying school. We would not be at this place without her.
BH Guildford really do care for all the children there, get to know them, get to know you and do everything they can to ensure they are happy. Its a special place. I'll be crying buckets when my son leaves at the end of summer!

The nursery is excellent, we couldn't ask for more. All the staff are incredibly loving and hard working, and really care for our daughter, who has formed strong bonds with many of them. They always go above and beyond to make sure she is well looked after, but also learning and developing. They are very individualised with their approach and our daughter has really thrived at bright horizons. There is clear leadership and direction, and they are very accessible. We are so delighted we found this nursery. Our daughter started in October 2025 and she has thrived at Bright Horizons. The staff genuinely care about her and she often talks about how much she likes them. Care feels highly personalised and I'm impressed by the variety of educational activities they do each day. Our daughter was happy at her previous nursery, but she has really blossomed at Bright Horizons. Management is hands-on and accessible, and all the staff are warm and engaged. We'd recommend it without hesitation.

It's been amazing to watch how social he's become-he now happily says "hi" to everyone and genuinely enjoys interacting with others. The nursery environment has clearly played a big role in helping him come out of his shell.
Another highlight has been the food. He's developed a real interest in eating and absolutely loves the nutritious, well-balanced meals, as well as the great variety offered every day.

Friendly and caring staff, always a smile and a giggle to cheer you up. Range of activity encouraging development and social interaction. Meals are well balanced and varied. Nursery is clean and well maintained, though a fresh paint would brighten it up. Outdoor space is lovely and encourages independent play. Nursery would benefit from more ipads to help assist with updates, reviews, observations and logging of events - but this is a larger management issue, not the Nursery itself. We are very impressed with Bright Horizons Guildford Egerton Road. The staff are all so friendly, caring and work hard to understand the needs of each child. Our daughter loves going in, eager to chat to everyone and spend time with her friends. The staff have helped her find her interests and play well with others. I am so impressed with Bright Horizons Guildford's staff. Everyone is so cheerful, caring and professional. Our daughter has been with the nursery for almost a year since she was 10 months old. She is so happy and so keen to go to the nursery. She remembers her friends' and staff's names, and often repeats them at home. She enjoys all the creative activities offered at the nursery, and her development is remarkable. She interacts well with other kids and happily plays independently. The managers pay close attention to detail and respond really fast to any concerns. Communication between staff and parents at drop-off and pick-up is excellent. Meet the Team (3)
With over 18 years of experience in childcare, Becka began their career in 2000 after completing three years of study at Godalming College, earning a CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education and an NVQ Level 3.
Her career path includes six years at Active Learning Dorking and three wonderful years at Guildford University Nursery. For the past 12 years, she has been a dedicated member of the Bright Horizons team, initially starting as a Nursery Nurse in the baby room before being promoted to Baby Room Manager.
Driven by a passion for continuous learning, Becka pursued and completed a Foundation Degree in Early Years at Guildford College. This accomplishment paved the way for further growth, including promotions to Third in Charge, Deputy Manager, and eventually Nursery Manager at Starfish Nursery, Guildford in 2014.
Having always known they wanted to work with children, she continues to find joy in seeing children arrive with beaming smiles and witnessing their growth and learning each day.
I have worked in Bright Horizons now for 4 years and I am really enjoying my role. I currently work part-time, as I care for my son who will be 1 next year. I am really creative and enjoy creating enabling environments for all of the children. In my spare time, I enjoy days out with my husband and son and spending time with my extended family.
Elly has been working at Bright Horizons Guildford since 2016, where she gained her Level 3 qualification in Childcare. She has progressed through several roles within the nursery, becoming Deputy Manager in 2024.
She is passionate about nurturing and supporting children, helping them grow in confidence and achieve their developmental milestones. Elly enjoys guiding and developing her staff team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide the highest quality care for children and families.
With a strong interest in supporting children with SEND, Elly is committed to ensuring every child feels valued and is given the best opportunities during their early years. She also loves being outdoors with the children, extending their learning and play through nature-based experiences.
