Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Wood Street Village

Our son has had a wonderful four years at Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Wood Street Village. The whole team have been amazing and we are very sad to be leaving for school. Thank you to everyone for making the nursery years so enjoyable for all.

I think we're all going to miss the team when September arrives and we couldn't be more pleased that we chose Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Wood Street Village to help us look after our girls.

My daughter started this nursery last September as a very shy girl with little confidence. Fast forward to now, she is full of confidence and ready to start school in September. Being a nursery of smaller classes, the amazing nursery workers work extremely closely with her and I cannot thank them enough. She has excelled in everything. Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Wood Street Village without a doubt is somewhere I would recommend to everyone. The kindness of the ladies at this nursery and their care for the children really is so lovely. Not only are the children having fun and so well looked after, they’re learning every day and the improvement I have seen in my own daughter is incredible. The equipment/toys and furniture is immaculate condition. There is not another nursery that stood out for me like this one did when looking around and I am so so glad that we went with our hearts. In a quiet village, I most importantly feel safe when my daughter is in the care of Christopher Robin ladies.

Both my girls have attended Christopher Robin Wood Street Village and we could not be more pleased with the nursery. From day one in 2015, until the last day, every member of staff has made us, as parents, feel that the girls are always in the safest and most knowledgeable hands. The girls have both thrived here, forever coming home with stories of the fun activities they’ve done, what they’ve learned and the friends they’ve made and played with. Everything from the setting, to the food, resources, management, curriculum, staff - everything has exceeded our expectations. Thanks all at Christopher Robin. We love you.

The staff at Wood Street are a real credit to the nurseries, they are caring, professional and really support your little one through their developmental and learning journey. Our daughter loves being at nursery, and it is a real joy to see all the wonderful activities she gets up to every day and how she is progressing.

My daughter has attended the nursery for nearly 4 years, and my son for nearly 2 years. We have been really happy with the care provided at nursery. The staff are caring, approachable and professional. It has been a great comfort to know that our children have been safe and happy in nursery whilst engaging in a variety of fun activities.

Our 3-year-old daughter has been at the nursery since autumn 2019. The nursery is fantastic and she settled in straight away. The staff are really caring and supportive, there are lots of stimulating activities and independence is promoted. Our daughter looks forward to her nursery days which was not the case with her previous setting. Highly recommended.

Such a lovely nursery, the staff are so nurturing towards the children as well as promoting and encouraging their independence. Communication between nursery staff and parents is always great and I know my child is happy and cared for at nursery. We will miss Wood Street Village nursery very much when my son starts school in September! Thank you Wood Street for making my son's early years so enjoyable!

My son has been at Christopher Robin for 7 months and I could not be happier with the care and attention he receives. He was quite a quiet and shy child but nursery has allowed him to gain such confidence around other people and develop his independence. I find the staff to be incredibly skilled and caring and the nursery has a wealth of resources which enables my son to experience things we cannot provide at home. I've been impressed by the range of food provided by the nursery which is both freshly prepared every day and nutritious - and most importantly - my son loves the meals! It's wonderful to have daily updates on his progress from his keyworker as well online on My Montessori Child which includes photos and summaries of his development so I can see how happy and settled he is at nursery.

Lovely setting, friendly staff. My son came here from 8 months old and the staff were so good at settling him and meeting our individual needs! He made such a good bond with his key person and was always happy to be left. Thank you!

My daughter has been at Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Wood Street Village since August this year. The nursery staff are friendly and always welcoming. My daughter has learnt so much since starting. We chose this nursery because we wanted our daughter to learn independence, which she has, in many aspects. She has learnt to do things on her own, which she was never taught at her previous nursery. I hope things continue to improve as she gets older.

The nursery is fun, kind and very approachable. My toddler enjoys being there and comes home happy every time. The nursery manager and staff are very accommodating and also manage to personalise their care, it is easy to pick up the phone and talk about issues and they are quick to provide possible solutions/suggestions. Hoping this good service continues and every child is content and cared for well.

He loves it here and I know he (and we) will be really sad for him to leave. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent communication from staff. Attentive and very accommodating to all our needs. Understanding when my boy was unwell or upset at separation times. Accommodating with dietary requirements at times and during periods of religious festivals.
