Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Wood Street Village

Continuity of staff is excellent, which has resulted in my son making very strong bonds with a lot of the carers. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter's confidence and speech has come so far after only 3 months of attending for only one day a week. We are now putting her in twice a week and couldn't feel more comfortable knowing she is well looked after and loved.

The recent Christmas fair was just one example of how the nursery reaches out to parents.

This nursery is friendly and professional. They care beautifully not just for my girls but for the whole family. They have even been able to accommodate my babies special needs. They have been flexible with swap days (sometimes at short notice) for my big girl when I have suddenly been in hospital with my baby girl. Can't say enough about how wonderful they are. This nursery is also lovely and clean with yummy food.

This is a great little nursery. There are three "rooms", each of which takes different age groups, thus activities are age appropriate. My daughter seems to really love being there, and I feel confident that she is well looked after and has fun whilst there. Very happy.

They make it easy for me as a parent, to leave my child and go to work because I am confident they will go above and beyond for my son!

This is my second child attending the group of Christopher Robin Day Nurseries and we have chosen it the second time around for good reason. We love the ethos of the Montessori approach. The children are valued, well cared for and allowed the independence to develop and grow into well-rounded young children. They are allowed the freedom (with appropriate supervision) to learn basic day to day skills much earlier than I would have allowed at home, which has allowed our children to flourish without being held back. The staff give the children credit for what they are capable of despite how young they may seem. Most importantly, our daughter is very happy at the nursery and gets excited to go in each morning.

I've indicated "good" below for staff as there have recently been a number of staff changes, but even with this in mind, my daughter has always felt comfortable with the majority of staff she comes in contact with. Most of the staff are "excellent" from my perspective.

The staff are so friendly and helpful and genuinely care about the children in the nursery. My son has been so happy to come into nursery from 11 months old and chats about the staff and what he's been up tp during his days. he loves to give everyone a hug goodbye at the end of the day! The resources are always clean, complete and the children are always busy with all sorts of lovely things when I drop my son off. I feel happy and confident that my son is well cared for, stimulated and settled in this nursery and I will be so sad when the time comes for school, nursery is such a big part of his life!

My son has attended for 18 months, since 11 months old. He loves the staff and there is a positive, happy and energetic atmosphere there. We are very happy with the care provided and the service given to parents. Would not hesitate to recommend.

An exceptional nursery! I feel totally comfortable leaving my son in their care. He has developed and learnt so much since being there. All the staff are fun, caring and really show great love to the children. Would happily recommend anyone.
