Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Burpham

I couldn’t have wished for a better Nursery for my son. He has been with them for 3 years and has just left to start school in September. The staff at Christopher Robin have been so lovely, supportive and helped make him into the confident little boy he now is. In areas he has struggled, like his speech they have put so much effort into ensuring he has 1:1 time and he has created such a fantastic relationship with his key Worker. I feel so lucky to have found the perfect place for our family. The Nursery has fantastic facilities and resources which enable to children to learn in fun ways. I especially appreciated the communication between Staff and parents as an anxious mum returning to work. They always ensure they have parents evenings, Christmas parties and Other events so everyone feels welcome and part of the Nursery. I honestly couldn’t fault them in any areas. I’m am extremely sad to be saying goodbye.

The only slight frustration we’ve had is the fact the car park is tiny and at busy times it can get very difficult to circulate particularly as there’s a school right across the road so there are cars and people everywhere! Other than that we’re really happy with our experience so far!

Our daughter started at this nursery 6 months ago. We chose this nursery primarily because of its OFSTED report and the great outdoor space. We also have friends with children at this nursery who recommended it.

Our daughter settled in well and was made to feel very welcome. The staff took into account our daughter's personal interests and also worked alongside us with things we are developing at home (e.g. giving up dummy, toilet training)

The activities on offer each day are varied and the staff are very caring and supportive towards the children. Each day, there is a great summary of what the children have been up to and what they have eaten, the food is great quality also.

Our daughter comes home happy and excited after her days here. We have really noticed a development in her social and language skills since her starting here. She is kind and considerate towards others, plus her manners and ability to share have really improved.

Overall we would highly recommend the nursery.

I am incredibly impressed with the high standard of care given to my son at Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Burpham. He is normally quite shy but since he started nursery at the beginning of January I have noticed a massive improvement in his social skills, physicality and overall confidence. The staff are wonderful and really take care of all my son's needs. They give me daily reports regarding what he has been doing that day and the progress that he has made. He has settled in a lot quicker than I could ever have hoped for. It has definitely been the best decision we have made for my son. Thank you! I would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family.

My daughter skips, or more often runs, into nursery. This is a reflection of the affection that she has for the whole team at Christopher Robin Day Nursery Burpham and the dedication and commitment that they have for her and her classmates. The team have helped her grow in confidence, have a fantastic understanding of the world and be wonderfully independent.

This is my third child going through Christopher Robin Day Nursery. The current staff in the piglets are quite new so I'm still getting to know them. Good signs to me are that my child is generally happy in the room. The girls seem to pick up on things when he is not 100%. His vocabulary and general development continues to improve as he grows appropriate to his age. I feel really confident and happy to leave him here.

All the team are wonderful, my son has flown since being here, and looks forward to everyday he's here.

Our child seems very happy at the nursery and seems to enjoy the start of each of the 2 days a week he spends at the nursery. Every day he tells us about all of the activities he's done during the day and all of the friends he's played with.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since the summer. Although it has taken her a while to settle, the staff couldn't have been more patient and supportive to both of us. I drop her off now without tears in the morning knowing she'll be safe and have fun while I'm away.

The staff always have time to talk to address any queries or concerns. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming when coming and going.

The variety of food is great for the children, with lots of new and varied foods to try each day. The outside space and variety of toys is also excellent.

Can't praise them enough and very pleased with our choice of nursery.

We have been very impressed with the level of care of our daughter and other children. They have created a play and learning environment that would be difficult to replicate at home. Simple things like learning to pour liquid or recognising letters. We feel that the care and attention given to the children is an excellent grounding and preparation for school. Not only that, but so much of our daughter's early life has been recorded by the nursery, which in a busy life can be hard to do. I simply can not fault them.

Extremely helpful and proactive approach to organising changes to my daughter's attendance pattern in order to accommodate school starting in September. Equally, with a second child due to start in the baby room, it was very useful to be able to communicate early on and receive a swift response. A wonderful caring nursery where my daughter has always been incredibly happy over 4 years. Thank you.

Our three year old and two year old go here once per week, and to Christopher Robin in London Road four times per week. When my wife went back to work full time, our regular nursery didn't have our fifth day available, but we didn't hesitate in putting our children into nearby Burpham. Everything we like about Christopher Robin is transferable between the two.

The staff are all excellent and all form bonds with the children. You can tell they love kids and are very patient, not just doing care as a job. They allow the children to play with what they like to do. They encourage safe interaction with other children and good manners. The manager is hands on and always knows what both kids have done that day if we need to call for any reason.

The outside space is MASSIVE and very safe and interactive, the best I've seen at any nursery. Overall, we're delighted at the care the children receive here and know that they are enhancing how we aim to raise them; happy, confident and empathetic.

I thought I didn't like nurseries and I have definitely been converted! Our daughter's care was shared between close family until she was 2 and 3/4. The situation changed and after an unsuccessful 2.5 weeks we decided to try a nursery and I visited four. Christopher Robin was neither the most convenient nor the cheapest but I got a good feeling about the place from my first phone call with the manager. After visiting I was left with the feeling that this was a place I could leave my daughter. Two close friends also highly recommended it to me, one who used it from 2008 - 2016 and another who currently has a child attending.

My daughter started in early March and has settled really well. I've been most impressed with the genuine warmth and affection the staff have for her already, especially her key worker in Kangas. My fussy eater is already eating new foods. She loves playing in the garden. I've also been impressed with the interaction from staff in other rooms.

My daughter loves going to nursery and is very settled. She has multiple food allergies which are easily catered for. The nursery teachers are friendly and get to know the children individually. We're very happy with the care she receives here.

Great nursery, great staff and great facilities.

My son has attended this nursery for more than two years and throughout the level of care, kindness and fun has been outstanding. I chose the nursery largely on reputation and for its wonderful garden but have learned that it's greatest asset is it's long serving staff who work diligently and enthusiastically every day to ensure the children are well looked after, engaged and educated. Going back to work full time feeling positive about childcare was a huge relief to me.
