Christopher Robin Day Nursery Burpham offers Montessori education in a safe, stimulating and fun environment so children feel secure and are able to grow and develop at their own pace. Set in fantastic grounds of a 1/3 of an acre, this well-established nursery has been providing childcare since 1994 and has easy access to and from the A3.

Christopher Robin Day Nurseries offer full day care for children aged three months to five years from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year. They are closed only for statutory bank holidays (currently eight per year) and for one week between Christmas and New Year.

Our experience of the Christopher Robin Day Nursery has been fantastic and we would definitely recommend to others. Most staff are excellent, positive and caring and both our boys have always been very happy. The kids seem to be very close to their caregivers and that is very important. The management
is very accommodating and flexible.

Both of my children have been to Christopher Robin Burpham from the age of 1 until school. They have both absolutely loved their time there. I am eternally grateful to the amazing staff for their care, education and preparation for school years. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My little boy has been in Burpham Christopher Robin Day Nursery since 2016, where he started in Piglets. He absolutely loves nursery. He loves the nursery staff and speaks fondly of all the staff that work in his class. My son has grown in confidence and is ready for reception. He has been given all
the skills needed to do well in the move into a new school and reception. We have full confidence that our little girl who is now in Piglets will be given the same care and taught the same skills in preparation for school readiness.

All the staff at the nursery know my little one by name even though she’s not directly under their care. The staff make you feel so welcome and you can tell they enjoy what they do and that comes out tenfold when you see how happy the kids are!!! My little one always comes home telling me of her adventure
of the day! I have cherished the time my little one has spent at Christopher Robin as the staff have really helped make her the little person she is! Thank you!!

Our daughter loves coming to Christopher Robin! There is a low turnover of staff which means the children get to know the staff well. Our daughter has bonded with her key worker and many of the other staff too. She gets to do lots of different activities and a particular strength of the nursery is the

My daughter has been at this nursery for nearly a year and is preparing to go to school in September - we have been very impressed with the care given and cannot recommend this setting highly enough. She has access to lots of creative activities and learning opportunities, also access to a wonderful
outside space. "I love it" she says! Despite being a fussy eater, there has also been a wide range of foods for her to try. The staff are lovely, caring and attentive and the manager highly organised. I have always felt 100% comfortable leaving my daughter in their care.

Burpham's Christopher Robin has a brilliant, happy atmosphere with well-mannered children and bright staff. Our daughter really enjoys the nursery and has, in a short time, picked up new skills and manners. Every day she brings back her craft efforts and she gets good attention and care at the nursery.
Thank you to the staff for helping her adapt to her new surroundings so well.

My daughter has only been at nursery for 7 weeks but she settled into nursery very well and loves it here. I feel confident leaving her here that she will be well looked after. I particularly enjoyed joining in the Halloween stay and play session last week. I like that she spends so much time outdoors
and that there are two menus to choose from for her; big baby menu and normal main menu. I look forward to seeing her grow and thrive here.

This is such a great nursery. The staff are all wonderfully friendly and you can tell they genuinely care for the children. They are always happy to help and answer as many questions as a worried parent can have! Both my children are really happy there and although it can be hard to leave them you know
they're in good hands. The rooms are all homely and the garden is brilliant as there's so much space to run around with lots to do.

I couldn’t have wished for a better Nursery for my son. He has been with them for 3 years and has just left to start school in September. The staff at Christopher Robin have been so lovely, supportive and helped make him into the confident little boy he now is. In areas he has struggled, like his speech
they have put so much effort into ensuring he has 1:1 time and he has created such a fantastic relationship with his key Worker. I feel so lucky to have found the perfect place for our family. The Nursery has fantastic facilities and resources which enable to children to learn in fun ways. I especially appreciated the communication between Staff and parents as an anxious mum returning to work. They always ensure they have parents evenings, Christmas parties and Other events so everyone feels welcome and part of the Nursery. I honestly couldn’t fault them in any areas. I’m am extremely sad to be saying goodbye.

Our son started at the nursery first week of July and we’ve been delighted with how it’s gone so far. We chose the nursery mostly due to the great Ofsted rating and the fact that it has a fantastic outdoor space. We’ve been really impressed by the attention to detail from all the staff and the quality
of the facilities and equipment.
He had some great settling in days to allow him to feel more comfortable so by the time I went back to work I was confident he enjoyed his day there. Within 3 weeks he is well settled, eating and sleeping well! I’m really happy with the activities he does every day and the fact he gets to spend time outside playing. Would highly recommend the nursery to other parents!
The only slight frustration we’ve had is the fact the car park is tiny and at busy times it can get very difficult to circulate particularly as there’s a school right across the road so there are cars and people everywhere! Other than that we’re really happy with our experience so far!

Our daughter started at this nursery 6 months ago. We chose this nursery primarily because of its OFSTED report and the great outdoor space. We also have friends with children at this nursery who recommended it.


Our daughter settled in well and was made to feel very welcome. The staff took into account

our daughter's personal interests and also worked alongside us with things we are developing at home (e.g. giving up dummy, toilet training)


The activities on offer each day are varied and the staff are very caring and supportive towards the children. Each day, there is a great summary of what the children have been up to and what they have eaten, the food is great quality also.


Our daughter comes home happy and excited after her days here. We have really noticed a development in her social and language skills since her starting here. She is kind and considerate towards others, plus her manners and ability to share have really improved.


Overall we would highly recommend the nursery.
