Christopher Robin Day Nursery Burpham offers Montessori education in a safe, stimulating and fun environment so children feel secure and are able to grow and develop at their own pace. Set in fantastic grounds of a 1/3 of an acre, this well-established nursery has been providing childcare since 1994 and has easy access to and from the A3.

Christopher Robin Day Nurseries offer full day care for children aged three months to five years from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year. They are closed only for statutory bank holidays (currently eight per year) and for one week between Christmas and New Year.

Our little boy started at Christopher Robin Day Nursery in the middle of lockdown so he had to begin his nursery journey without the usual induction visits. Despite this, from day one he was happy and settled, testament to the care and attention he received from the staff there. He has built up wonderful
relationships with the adults in his room, particularly his key worker who he talks about all the time! The planning and resourcing of activities each day is fantastic and we’ve been so pleased with the progress he’s made over the last ten months. We would highly recommend this nursery and are so grateful to everyone at Christopher Robin for giving our son such a good start!

My little boy (2.5 years) is at Christopher Robin Day Nursery (Burpham) and he completely loves it! The manager and her team are amazing. We are currently potty training and their support with this has been more than I could wish for. It means that I am not at all concerned about consistency and my
son is well looked after when I am not there which has made the potty training a fairly smooth process for us all.
I recently attended a 'stay and play' at the nursery where I was able to see my son at play in his classroom. This was the first time I had been inside the nursery since the start of the pandemic. I really appreciated the invite and the chance to do this and found it to be a great insight into how my son is doing in the nursery environment. Seeing the kanga's team in action was really reassuring and I now can see for myself why my son always comes home beaming after his nursery days.
I have no hesitation in recommending new parents to check out Christopher Robin - Burpham.

Both my daughters thrived and loved Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Burpham. The staff were caring, engaging and documented plenty of photos showing them doing all sorts of fun and educational activities. I love that they use a website for messaging and documentation of the day from photos to menus.
We found communication easy and timely. I like the setup of the nursery and they have a great garden filled with entertainment for the children.
My family couldn’t recommend this nursery highly enough! Thank you so much for looking after my girls so well.

I cannot speak more highly about Christopher Robin Nursery. Both of my children attended over the last four years with my daughter just finishing her last day today prior to heading off to school. Looking back over the last four years I can honestly say that there really could not have been a more wonderful,
warm, friendly and safe environment for my children to grow and develop. The calm leadership of the manager and the enthusiasm, pride and care that all the staff put into their every working day is exceptional. They all should be so proud of what they have achieved. To any new parent looking at childcare options then I cannot speak more highly of Christopher Robin Burpham.

My son joined the nursery at the age of four and spent there nearly one year, which is enough time to gather sufficient experience allowing me to write this review. First thing, which comes to my mind is, amazing place! Personally as a parent you always worry, "how is it going to be?", "will my child
be happy?" - all those feelings/thoughts also came through my mind at the beginning of our journey, but already on day one we knew it: this is it! Our son settled very quickly, always - really always, came back home happy. The staff are very helpful, the management always there if you need them, kids are kept busy during the day with a good balance of indoor and outdoor activities (very important to me; note: spacious garden available) - all you need for your child in their early years. I would highly recommend them to anyone searching for a nursery for your child. A nursery you can trust!

We have been very happy with Burpham nursery. All the staff are great, particularly the manager, who runs the nursery to a very high standard. Our daughter has enjoyed her time there and the outside facilities they have are great.

Both my daughters are attached to the nursery and absolutely loved it there as do I. The manager is doing an absolutely fantastic job and so are every single member of staff. We can't thank them enough for the amazing work they continue to do every day.

I can’t rate this nursery highly enough. My 2-year-old son has come on leaps and bounds developmentally since starting here, as did his older sister when she attended the same nursery previously. The staff are amazing with the children and the facilities are wonderful - my son particularly loves the
huge outside space which was also one of the reasons we chose this nursery, which a lot of other nurseries don’t have. The children get to do so many different activities and to be able to log onto my son's page and see photos of what he has been doing is great!

The staff always seem really lovely and caring and are good at Covid safety. The drop-off/pick-up app is great to maintain social distancing and it's always quick getting them in and out. It's always great to see new photos every day on the Montessori site.

Absolutely wonderful nursery! Everyone at Christopher Robin - Burpham is amazing and very very caring. My son has only been attending since August but already I can see how happy he is, how much he is learning and progress he is making.
It is also important to say that in this very strange and difficult
time, I do not have a single doubt about the safety and care this nursery provides, mega organised.

Our son has attended the nursery full time for over a year and, despite it being tough leaving him for so much of the time, we have always felt he is in good hands. The staff are always friendly, happy and caring and I certainly think it rubs off on the children. They do all sorts of fun crafts and
activities. Our little boy particularly loves going out in the amazing big garden. He’s often coming home having learnt a new song or skill that surprises me and he’s often buzzing when he gets home after having a great day which is lovely to see.
Thank you to Christopher Robin for doing a fantastic job looking after our son and I look forward to a couple more years with you before he starts school.

I would thoroughly recommend Christopher Robin Burpham. Throughout the entire ‘settling in process,’ we felt well informed and comfortable with the level of personal care provided for our daughter. As a teacher, I know just how important safeguarding is and reading through the excellent procedures and
policies provided me with all of the information I could ever need to know. Since starting, our daughter has been made to feel so welcome by the whole team, but particularly from her key person. Being one of the youngest children, it was heartwarming to see special toys and equipment introduced to the Piglet classroom just for her. Returning to work is difficult for any first time Mummy, and I can’t thank the team enough for making myself and my husband feel completely at ease. I know that our daughter is happy, safe and cared for. From the first nursery tour to picking up our bubbly little 11-month-old tonight, the team have made us feel like part of the family.

I have just had a very tearful farewell to Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Burpham. After 6 years of seeing both our children through their nursery years, as a family, we have come to regard the nursery and the staff as family, so it feels strange to be saying goodbye. Both children have been at the
nursery from 5 months old. Leaving a baby this old to have to return to work is not easy, but the nursery and the amazing staff made this so much easier to bear. Both children enjoyed and looked forward to attending, and would come home happily discussing their day's activities. The nursery is incredibly well managed and we have valued their flexibility and approach, particularly when our second child had unexpected and serious health problems. The facilities, in particular the garden, are fantastic. I have been handed the most beautiful book of the nursery memories in pictures, and it shows just how much fun has been had. Having your first child is full of unknown amounts of worry. So more so than when we put our 1yr old into nursery and we were obviously anxious. We needn't have burned the calories worrying. Christopher Robin has been amazing from helping our little boy settle into making us feel comfortable to information
sharing. It's been incredibly impressive. Even more impressive is the rapid development we have seen in our boy's cognitive skills, speech and general problem-solving skills. This has all been in the first 3 weeks! The team there are awesome and work hard to give all the kids love and support to grow. We're so happy we chose Christopher Robin Burpham and the team.

The nursery has a very child-friendly setting. It's clear that our daughter enjoys her time here. It took her only one session for her to become comfortable with her key person and the setting. Compared to the previous nursery I hear fewer kids crying when I'm doing dropoff and pick-up.
The nursery
has a very nice garden and I like that the kids are exposed to the elements in every season. The inside area could be bigger, but I don't think the kids notice it. I notice that my daughter has learned a lot here quickly, she understands language much better, and I like that there is a nose-wiping corner.
Areas, where I would like to see improvements, is technology. The nursery does offer an online portal to view a child's progress, but the experience is limited. Also, the entrance to the nursery could be enhanced with a key fob.

My daughter started in the piglets room in September 2019 and she is so happy there. Very well fed (5* compared to home!), watered, nappy changed and I can tell that the staff are nice to her because she is very happy with them. We had a nappy rash issue and they were happy to work with me to try to
resolve it. Nice indoor and outdoor space. I'd highly recommend. We still are yet to have a review with them in terms of my daughter's progress but I feel as if they are monitoring her well so far.

Our overall experience of the Christopher Robin Day Nursery, Burpham has been extraordinarily good. Staff are excellent, very positive and caring to the kids. We really appreciate how they transformed our little girl over the period and helped to build quality characteristics and great personality.
Our girl seems to love her time at Nursery and always eager to go there in the morning. She seems to be very close to the staff. We would definitely recommend to others.
