CherryVale Nursery, in Ash Vale, is a converted school that makes the most of versatile play areas to support the children's development.

The nursery benefits from having its own ICT suite within the preschool room, a sensory room, air conditioning throughout and separate sleep rooms. There is a secure outdoor play area and five individual rooms for an age-specific focus.

Staff take pride in delivering a friendly service, committed to helping children develop positively and preparing them well for later challenges. Parents are always welcome to talk to staff and enjoy many of the calendar events.

Lovely staff and a brilliant nursery. My child is always happy to go in and loves spending the day here. Lots to learn with lots of fun and interactive ways! Happy child = happy parents!

We find the care for our daughter to be excellent and there is no doubt that she enjoys her time at the Nursery. The meals are excellent with good variation. Our daughter has been in a number of rooms over the last six months and each one has helped with her development and we can see the changes as
she learns more as she grows up. Most importantly, all of the carers are excellent with our daughter forming a strong bond with her key persons and loves her time with them. Finally, the facilities at the nursery are very good and our daughter loves spending time in the garden as well as the indoor activities.

We have been extremely happy with our experience at CherryVale. Our son started a very shy boy and struggled with his food and his naps. Now he is so much more confident and loves his food. He really enjoys nursery and that makes it a lot easier for us as parents. We are very happy with the overall

Both of my children have attended CherryVale nursery and I have been extremely happy with both the staff and the management. There is a warm welcome every morning, they are caring and informative on everything that my children have been doing. They are very accommodating to any requirements you may
have. I will be sad to leave next summer.

My son has been coming to CherryVale since he was 10 months old, and he is now 4. He has progressed so much since being at the nursery and every room he has been into we have noticed a massive change. He is now in Preschool and his key worker has been outstanding and he has a great bond with her and
one of the main reasons he enjoys coming to nursery so much! His English and maths have excelled so much we could not be any prouder and that's all thanks to the amazing team at CheeryVale.

CherryVale is outstanding. The activities they provide are varied, stimulating, exciting, creative and fun! The facilities are excellent, and the structure and organisation provide great stability for the children. The staff are all kind, caring and very skilled. I have been a parent at CherryVale for
6 years, and both my son and daughter have thrived. In fact, they have provided huge support for my son in terms of preparing him for school, helping him manage his behaviour, and develop his social skills. Both my children have LOVED their time at CherryVale. My daughter is upset when it's the weekend and she can't attend! I will genuinely be sad when she leaves in July, as CherryVale has been such an important part of their childhoods.

The nursery has done a wonderful job with my son from the moment he joined. Always very attentive and really addressing any concerns I had. His teachers have been golden and he absolutely loves them.


There have been times where his room was disorganised and teachers weren't really on it but when

I addressed it, the management team really took it onboard which I really appreciated. This happens often and I do try to raise it when I can.


The only complaints I would have would be:


The parking situation, which is always difficult to park.


The garden doesn't have a lot of green, it gets extremely hot with the tarmac in the summer and you notice that the children struggle. It would be nice to see more green.


Sometimes it really smells when you walk in and maybe keep an eye on this.


I would like to see the menu being reviewed. A lot of the meals described don't sound very good and I even heard from the teachers that there are some meals that none of the kids enjoy.

We are very happy with the care given to our son. He is really thriving at CherryVale and is excited every morning when we tell him that he is going to nursery! He gets on well with all the staff and they make a real effort to speak to him and make him laugh. We would and have recommended the nursery

My son attended CherryVale for three years and absolutely thrived, and now my daughter has recently started in the Baby room. The staff are friendly and caring - which is so important and reassuring when you are leaving your children. The facilities are excellent and I love seeing the updates and photos
on Parent Link. The nursery is so open and accessible, which ensures a welcoming environment. My daughter has settled so well in the last month and enjoys playing with her new little friends. She has made a real bond with her key person too.

Amazing nursery, our daughter has settled in so well and we couldn't be happier. She has great fun when she is at nursery. The staff are all lovely and friendly. Her key worker and all the team in the room have been wonderful.

Both my wife and I are extremely happy with the care our little boy is receiving and his development has come on fantastically well since being part of the nursery. His carers are very dedicated to making sure he is firstly enjoying being here but more importantly helping us to provide him with the
stepping stones to his life ahead and we are always kept up to date with his progress on a daily basis and enjoy working with the team to set new goals.

I have put all my trust and faith into this nursery with my 2 boys. My eldest boy, they more than prepared him for school. The preschool went above and beyond to make sure he was ready. This did not go unnoticed once he started school either with teachers complimenting how well he was already doing
with handwriting, control and letter recognition. My youngest is currently in the Little Learners room and has loved every minute of nursery since starting in the baby room. It has been a lovely process for us all since day 1. All the staff seem to have a genuine care for the children and the activities they provide are fantastic! My boys have had experiences they never would have had if they did not go to nursery and for that, I am very grateful! I did look at all the other nurseries in the area but none of them came close. The outside area at CherryVale is huge and even has its own soft play!

Our daughter was with CherryVale Nursery for almost 2 years (from 8 months old). From day one we were overwhelmed at how friendly and caring ALL the staff have been. They have been so happy during her time there and I cannot fault anything. We are really sad to be moving away but we know that my daughter
