Bright Horizons Royal Earlswood Day Nursery and Preschool, set in a beautiful Victorian house, has excellent transport links and is located close to Royal Earlswood and Redhill train stations. With large and light age appropriate rooms, the children enjoy a variety of activities throughout their day including benefiting from daily Forest School sessions.

The trained Forest School leader arranges exciting activities including climbing, swinging, building, woodcraft and fire safety. Additionally, the nursery offers all-inclusive care with an onsite chef providing nutritionally balanced meals, and the fees include snacks, nappies, wipes, formula, and creams.

The staff in all rooms are always amazing. My boy has been in baby, nursery and now preschool and the transition between nursery and preschool has definitely been the hardest, but with the support of all staff, it has gone much smoother. The staff in the baby room have helped settle in our daughter,
who after just a few days/weeks seems like she has been there for years. A huge thank you to everyone.

My son has now entered nursery class after going through babies and toddlers and loving it. The activities the carers do in nursery, are incredible. I could not fault Bright Horizons at all. Everyone is so friendly and professional. My daughter has settled in well and enjoys her time there. I can't wait to see how she progresses in the future. So glad we chose them. Great outdoors space and we trust them completely. Would highly recommend.

I have been using the nursery since 2018. I sent my son and then my daughter, full-time until sadly the pandemic intervened. I have always rated the nursery and my son returned when he was able to. I can't say enough about how highly I rate the staff. two staff members, in particular, have been very
special people, of many. I love the garden and the effort put into making the children happy. My only advice is to ditch the vegetable jambalaya, as all the kids hate it!

I put my child in this nursery based on the reviews and score on this website. Sadly I do not agree. I don't find the staff very nurturing. Updates were poor and infrequent. My child actually started dropping their Ts after starting this nursery and having spoken with the staff, you could understand
why. I wanted to love this nursery, the forest school is a bonus but unless it's dry (including the ground needing to be dry) the children are rarely allowed to use it so that rules out most of the year. So I won't be recommending this nursery and I am surprised with their Ofsted rating.
When Ofsted visited there were different staff at the door that day, so I would imagine that's got something to do with it.

Our son has been attending this nursery for a little over a year now. He is always happy when we pick him up, having had a good time. We like the engagement from the nursery through the app and all of the photos and updates we receive. We have also joined him for extra days at Christmas and mother's
day etc at the nursery. They always put on seasonal and relevant activities for the children. My son is a fussy eater, but they have very varied meals and he will eat things at nursery that he would never eat at home. The outside space is huge with lots of different areas for the children and their age/experience. We are very happy with this outstanding nursery.

The team at Earlswood have always been very positive and approachable. Both our children have really enjoyed themselves and developed really well under the stewardship of all the team. The external equipment and play areas are a key defining item that sets the nursery out from others in the area.

I can't rate Bright Horizons, Royal Earlswood, enough. My son has been there for a year and has grown so much. His teachers have taught him so much. They have been so caring, loving and supportive of his needs and have been just what he needs. All the staff are friendly and always willing to help out
where they can. We will miss everyone so much. Thank you for everything you have done for us.

My son is in the preschool room and absolutely loves it! The staff are lovely and he learns so much during his days there. We cannot thank Bright Horizons enough for all they do for us. Our little one has been with them 2 days a week since I returned to work in September and he has absolutely loved it. The staff are incredibly attentive, caring and patient. They provide so many different and exciting activities for him
to try and I love it when I pick him up and there's a whole load of artwork waiting for me! We can't recommend Bright Horizons Highly enough.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have been working in childcare for just over 20 years, working with children aged 3 months to 7 years old in nurseries and primary schools. I have also worked in a children's centre supporting parents to develop their children's early literacy skills.


I have a real passion for care and education; I have 4 children of my own and I try to bring a family feeling into the nursery. I enjoy encouraging and watching children's progress and development and work closely with the team to deliver great care and education.


I am passionate about supporting children in all areas of the curriculum to help each individual child to reach their full potential. As a parent myself I understand the importance of parent partnerships and involvement in the children's development and like to offer individual support if and when needed.

I have been at Royal Earlswood since I transferred from another Bright Horizons in 2016. I have been with bright horizons since 2012 when I joined the company as a nursery nurse and I have been in childcare since 2009.


My daughter also attends the royal Earlswood setting and shares my love of the nursery. I enjoy all aspects of my role and work alongside my team to provide the children in our care the best opportunities for learning and play.
