Smart Tots Nursery Banbury

The staff here are amazing. My two children love coming to nursery everyday due to the effort, care and attention of the girls here. They go above and beyond with caring for my children, including cuddles when they are sad, painting pictures for mothers day and I love the fact they genuinely care about their lives at home. Everyday they provide a great varied diet for the and produce a daily report which tells me about what they have eaten and activities. Cannot thank you enough. Highly recommended.

The activities are varied and there are lots of opportunities to be artistic. The big plus for me is the parent portal. I can log on during my working day and see a picture of my son; sometimes a video. I know how much and what he has eaten, how long he slept and what he has enjoyed in his day. It is so reassuring. On top of everything else, I like how absolutely everything is included in the price. There are no extras.

From the first day my son has enjoyed his time spent at smart tots, especially the food which more times than not he has seconds! I enjoy the daily reports we get home so we know what he has been up to and also the arts and crafts that my son comes home with! Although being nervous to leave him to begin with, the staff are absolutely wonderful and I always feel that Freddie is well looked after. His confidence has grown since starting at smart tots and I couldn't be happier with the service that they provide! Would definitely recommend!!

Our son started at Smart Tots in February. As he was just under 6 months old, we were apprehensive and nervous as to how he would adapt. The staff at the nursery were absolutely wonderful. We received regular updates during the day with phone calls and photos and on collection it was clear he was very happy and content. He has settled in wonderfully and loves the gentle and hands on approach. Before he started nursery, he wouldn't like to sleep/nap in a cot but now he feels safe and secure and so the consistency has really helped us with his routines.

Overwhelmed by how brilliant the staff are at Smart Tots, after an emotional and bad experience at another service, Smart Tots have been nothing but reassuring for us as parents and amazing at settling our 11 month old! She is still settling but comes home very happy and us as parents are well informed about her day! Staff are very friendly and helpful and I always feel they have the children's best interest at hearts and are fond of all the children they care for! Very happy parents and child!

My son has settled in amazingly and all the staff are lovely and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My son has already learnt a lot of new skills and really enjoys spending time at the nursery.

Activities are good and varied and we can monitor them on a daily basis thanks to personalised email feeds. Our daughter is learning a lot there and it is great to see.

My daughter hasn't been at Smart Tots long, but she adjusted quickly and seems totally smitten with all the girls and every time I collect her she is happy. I would recommend smart tots as the food and service provided is excellent.

My only comment would be that I feel because of her age they do not take them outside of the Nursery (however this could be down to the time of year).

Both my children have attended here and I feel the nursery is excellent. My children learnt a lot from a young age the staff are all brilliant and very helpful. I would give this nursery a 5 star rating. I've been using it for 7 years now. I've looked round other nurseries before I joined Smart Tots and this was the best by far *****

Both my son (now 6) and daughter (4, in her last year) have attended Smart Tots since they were babies of 6 months old. I have been extremely happy with the care that they have received at nursery; both children have been very happy at Smart Tots and formed very strong bonds with all their carers. All the staff have a high level of qualification in child care, and most importantly are very caring; they will always go the extra mile to make sure that the children are happy, healthy, stimulated and developing well. The food provided is fresh, nutritious, cooked on site by their own chef, and gobbled up by my children. There are 4 separate rooms for the different ages of children which means that the babies can sleep in peace and quiet, the pre-schoolers can play games and learn phonics, and each room is set up for the needs of its children as they change so much each year. Finally, the nursery staff are very responsive to parental input and always willing to listen to suggestions, there is no "one size fits all" attitude to their childcare. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

The best thing about Smart Tots is the staff create a happy, creative and safe environment for the children. My daughter was there from 1yr until 4.5yrs and she became a little social butterfly and made some great friends. She has made a great start at school and I think the nursery environment really helped her be a confident little person. My son is still at the nursery and he is very happy there. He waves me off every day and always looks happy in the daily reports pictures showing me what he did that day. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Staff are very very friendly and always are aware about every child and how they are doing.

The photographic daily reports are a wonderful touch - I am keeping all of mine as a keepsake for the children to look through when they are older.

My wife and I were always keen to send our son to nursery part time as we believed the benefits of him interacting with other children of the same age would be good for his social development, plus the daily activities would offer great opportunities for his learning and development. And we were not disappointed!!

Our son is clearly benefiting from being around other children as his speech and social skills set him apart from some other children who don't go to nursery. The staff are all wonderful and he is absolutely happy around them.

I look forward to reading the daily reports and seeing a photo of what my son has been up to. I'm always very happy to read about all the different foods served - and eaten!

When speaking to other parents of young children I always recommend Smart Tots.

My daughter started at Smart Tots when she was just 8 months old and she is now 3, meaning she has been in the baby class all the way through to Preschool. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough, all of the staff are fabulous and work tirelessly to create a fun learning environment for all of the children. Maybe it's the proud parent in me but I am sure that from attending Smart Tots my daughter has the confidence and learning attitude of that of a school goer already! My little girl loves it at Smart Tots and I am not sure who will be more upset when the time comes for her to leave, me or her?!

My daughter loved her 4 years here and has made great friends and liked all the staff. She enjoyed all of the different activities and would eat a wide range of food that she wouldn't even consider eating at home.

My son has been attending Smart Tots since April 2015, he absolutely loves going and gets very excited. I was very worried about leaving him but he has excelled since going and I love my daily reports.

My son has been attending Smart Tots in the Adventurers Room (1-2 yrs) for 4 months and since starting, his communication and confidence has noticeably improved. The daily reports are brilliant to find out what he has been doing and eating! He always seems to do something different each week and has the opportunity to do lots of arts and crafts. The staff are always welcoming, caring and friendly, which makes it easier to leave him in their care.

My daughter loves going to Smart Tots, she always has lots of fun. We are alwYs made to feel welcome and there never seems to be an issue if you are running late to collect her at the end of the day. My daughter interacts well with the other children in her group and loves all the staff and is always pleased to see them, which makes us as parents relaxed when we drop her off in the morning!
