This friendly and convenient nursery provides safe and warm environments for children in Didcot and the surrounding area; caring for families of STFC as well as the local community.

The nursery offers a team of skilled early years professionals who are dedicated to protecting the wellbeing of children in their care and pursuing a proven curriculum of early years learning. The nursery provides regular extracurricular activities such as Forest School and Bright Horizons' Growing Programme, which includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, which has been designed to prepare children for their transition to school.

Children also have access to a well-resourced outdoor space in all weathers. An excellent nutritionally balanced menu, prepared by the on-site chef, has been carefully planned with a professional nutritionist and offers children many opportunities to experience different types of flavours.

The garden has recently undergone a full refurbishment.

We have been very impressed with the care and learning activities Litter Star has provided. Every staff member we've met at the nursery is friendly, patient and energetic. My son is so happy to go to the nursery since we transferred to Litter Star. I would not hesitate to recommend Litter Star to anyone.

Our daughter has been attending Little Stars for nearly one year since the age of 1. We have been extremely impressed with the nursery - it offers an excellent balance between professionalism and friendliness. The staff are very caring and understanding of both children and worried/tired/etc parents!
Would strongly recommend to any parent and little ones.

Since my son started his first day in Little Stars Nursery, he has become a very happy boy. He loves going to nursery every time and he even did not want to go home when I pick him up in the afternoon. I can see the reasons because the key person looks after him very well. Every time I pick up my son,
my son is so clean and tidy although he plays in the garden and sands very often. He went to two different nurseries before coming to Little Stars and his bib was always wet when I met him in the afternoon. However, it doesn't happen here in Little Stars. His bib is always dry when I pick him up. The staff in Little Stars are very friendly and full of energy. They are very responsible and reliable. I can leave my son there without any worries. So highly recommend Little Stars nursery.

Little Stars nursery have provided a secure and supported learning opportunity for both of my children. Both have enjoyed going to the nursery and have thrived in the broad learning environment. They have been exposed to many things they would not have experienced had they been solely at home. The nursery
staff work incredibly hard to develop their range of learning activities some of which take advantage of being on the Harwell Campus.
Examples of this would be short trips to visitor centres on the RAL site and forest school. I have had no reservation recommending the nursery in the past, nor am I likely to in the future.

Staff at the nursery are very kind with the child. Our son gets used to going to the nursery very quickly and now enjoy to go there. There is good communication with the parents on the progress and the future activities related to the required development of the child.

Before my daughter started at Little Stars Nursery we were very worried about how she would get used to the nursery because she can't speak or understand English.
However, after her first session, we knew we didn't need to worry about her because she said that she had enjoyed the nursery very much.
Unfortunately, her language ability hasn't improved very much, but we would like to thank the staff members of Little Stars Nursery as they always speak to my daughter even though she can't really reply in English.
We think such an attitude is very important to make children relax and enjoy the nursery.

Little Stars is a great nursery! My son absolutely loves going to nursery and it's a sign how great of a place for him to be in. They do such a wide range of activities with the children. I would really struggle to keep up at home!

We are very happy with our experience with Little Stars Nursery.
Both of our girls come here.
The oldest has now gone through several home bases.
It is great to see them do age-appropriate activities and be able to learn through play.
The older ones also have direct access to a nice big garden which
is very well equipped - a sand pit, mud kitchen, a mound - plenty of things to keep them busy outdoors.

My son started at little stars aged 16 months and he loves it. He's always very happy to go, and on the way home, he asks when he can go back again.
The staff are very caring and provide a great variety of activities for the children. Our boy particularly enjoys forest school.
He starts school in
September, and he will miss the Little Stars staff and his friends very much.

We love Little Stars! Our first son was there age 9 mnths-4 years and now our second son has started there aged 18mnths. The staff are dedicated, committed, engaged and also have often been working at the nursery for many years which is always a sign of a well-run and happy workplace. The children are
really cared for and made to feel valued and inspired. I feel really lucky we found this place and even better that it's reasonably priced too!

Very happy with this nursery. Our daughter, who is nearly 18 months old, loves coming here. The staff are fantastic, and help the children with a whole range of different activities- physical, sensory, skill-based, with books, with toys, in the garden... I have been amazed at how much our daughter is
picking up and how quickly she is learning new skills from her time in nursery. She also loves the food, and is almost guaranteed to eat AND sleep well.
The staff members have been brilliant, they are very accommodating, and really helped her settle in when she started, so she quickly got used to the routine. I also really like the daily report so I know exactly what she's been getting up to!

We have had both our children attending Little Stars Nursery full time from the time they were about 1. They have always been incredibly happy with nursery life, and we have felt this was the best possible place for them. All staff is very caring, and there are exciting activities going on. My 18 month old daughter has been attending this nursery since June and absolutely loves it. She adores the messy play with her friends and is very attached to her carer. We can see how happy and stimulating she finds the environment and it makes it much easier for us to drop her off every morning knowing
how much she enjoys "Stars". We're very impressed at how the staff have cared for our little girl and helped her develop her confidence with moving and speaking over the past months.

My child has been attending for 3 years and has loved their time at Little Stars. They have been looked after incredibly well and their emotional, physical and educational needs have been met well. The key workers have all been chosen brilliantly for my child and they take a special interest in home
life as well as nursery life and involve parents in many aspects of nursery life. The managers are parents too, so understand the issues and concerns that parents have and are always ready with a listening ear. The food and menu is exciting and varied and my child loves to have second helpings! The Forest School is a wonderful idea and gets the youngsters out to explore. There is a Parents Association too, which is active at raising money and organises additional events for the nursery.

I am a grandmother of a boy who attended this nursery for 4 years. He loved his time there and rightly so, because he was looked after with care, kindness, great sensitivity and understanding. He was nurtured physically, emotionally and intellectually. What more could one want!
I have a fair knowledge
of nurseries, having had a career which included working within nurseries, both practically and managerially. Getting services right for pre-schoolers is very difficult for a whole number of reasons and somehow Little Stars has been able to excel in this.
Well done all of the staff, I cannot recommend the nursery highly enough. It has set my dear grandson off for life.

- I have had 3 children go through Little Stars and they have been BRILLIANT!
