Little Stars Nursery is an outstanding nursery with exemplary staff. It's been a nurturing, supportive, safe and exciting place for all my babies to grow and develop into the amazing little people they are now, guided along the way by professional and dedicated people.
I am so thankful I have given my children the best start they could ever have in life by being part of Little Stars. They have progressed through the nursery starting as caterpillars and becoming beautiful butterflies, whilst care has been taken to ensure each child is ready for the next step. The process to get the children ready for school, including initiatives like ‘school days’, ‘PE classes’ and ‘graduation’ is fantastic. This helps to equip them with the skills and behaviours they need to help them flourish in a new environment/routine.
My son’s keyworker inspired his imagination by facilitating his thinking, engaging his mind and listening to his questions. She encouraged him to take risks and she supported him when and if he struggled.
We have been very impressed with the care and learning activities Litter Star has provided. Every staff member we've met at the nursery is friendly, patient and energetic. My son is so happy to go to the nursery since we transferred to Litter Star. I would not hesitate to recommend Litter Star to anyone.
Our daughter has been attending Little Stars for nearly one year since the age of 1. We have been extremely impressed with the nursery - it offers an excellent balance between professionalism and friendliness. The staff are very caring and understanding of both children and worried/tired/etc parents! Would strongly recommend to any parent and little ones.
Since my son started his first day in Little Stars Nursery, he has become a very happy boy. He loves going to nursery every time and he even did not want to go home when I pick him up in the afternoon. I can see the reasons because the key person looks after him very well. Every time I pick up my son, my son is so clean and tidy although he plays in the garden and sands very often. He went to two different nurseries before coming to Little Stars and his bib was always wet when I met him in the afternoon. However, it doesn't happen here in Little Stars. His bib is always dry when I pick him up. The staff in Little Stars are very friendly and full of energy. They are very responsible and reliable. I can leave my son there without any worries. So highly recommend Little Stars nursery.
Examples of this would be short trips to visitor centres on the RAL site and forest school. I have had no reservation recommending the nursery in the past, nor am I likely to in the future.
Staff at the nursery are very kind with the child. Our son gets used to going to the nursery very quickly and now enjoy to go there. There is good communication with the parents on the progress and the future activities related to the required development of the child.
However, after her first session, we knew we didn't need to worry about her because she said that she had enjoyed the nursery very much.
Unfortunately, her language ability hasn't improved very much, but we would like to thank the staff members of Little Stars Nursery as they always speak to my daughter even though she can't really reply in English.
We think such an attitude is very important to make children relax and enjoy the nursery.
Little Stars is a great nursery! My son absolutely loves going to nursery and it's a sign how great of a place for him to be in. They do such a wide range of activities with the children. I would really struggle to keep up at home!
Very happy with every aspect of the nursery care because my two are happy. That's all that needs to be said.
Both of our girls come here.
The oldest has now gone through several home bases.
It is great to see them do age-appropriate activities and be able to learn through play.
The older ones also have direct access to a nice big garden which is very well equipped - a sand pit, mud kitchen, a mound - plenty of things to keep them busy outdoors.
Overall we are very happy.
The staff are very friendly and professional and both my children have enjoyed their time in the nursery.
The staff are very caring and provide a great variety of activities for the children. Our boy particularly enjoys forest school.
He starts school in September, and he will miss the Little Stars staff and his friends very much.
We love Little Stars! Our first son was there age 9 mnths-4 years and now our second son has started there aged 18mnths. The staff are dedicated, committed, engaged and also have often been working at the nursery for many years which is always a sign of a well-run and happy workplace. The children are really cared for and made to feel valued and inspired. I feel really lucky we found this place and even better that it's reasonably priced too!
The staff members have been brilliant, they are very accommodating, and really helped her settle in when she started, so she quickly got used to the routine. I also really like the daily report so I know exactly what she's been getting up to!
We have had both our children attending Little Stars Nursery full time from the time they were about 1. They have always been incredibly happy with nursery life, and we have felt this was the best possible place for them. All staff is very caring, and there are exciting activities going on. Our littlest come back from nursery so excited every day. We feel very lucky to have Little Stars on Campus.
My 18 month old daughter has been attending this nursery since June and absolutely loves it. She adores the messy play with her friends and is very attached to her carer. We can see how happy and stimulating she finds the environment and it makes it much easier for us to drop her off every morning knowing how much she enjoys "Stars". We're very impressed at how the staff have cared for our little girl and helped her develop her confidence with moving and speaking over the past months.
We love the Little Stars Nursery, I trust the staff and I can see my little boy is always happy. The activities are engaging, always different and the atmosphere is relaxed. The spaces are well organised and there are also extra activities such as Boogie Beat
My child has been attending for 3 years and has loved their time at Little Stars. They have been looked after incredibly well and their emotional, physical and educational needs have been met well. The key workers have all been chosen brilliantly for my child and they take a special interest in home life as well as nursery life and involve parents in many aspects of nursery life. The managers are parents too, so understand the issues and concerns that parents have and are always ready with a listening ear. The food and menu is exciting and varied and my child loves to have second helpings! The Forest School is a wonderful idea and gets the youngsters out to explore. There is a Parents Association too, which is active at raising money and organises additional events for the nursery.
I have a fair knowledge of nurseries, having had a career which included working within nurseries, both practically and managerially. Getting services right for pre-schoolers is very difficult for a whole number of reasons and somehow Little Stars has been able to excel in this.
Well done all of the staff, I cannot recommend the nursery highly enough. It has set my dear grandson off for life.
- Going back to work is very hard for any mum, but I always felt my children have been safe, happy and loved by the kind staff at Little Stars.
