This friendly and convenient nursery provides safe and warm environments for children in Didcot and the surrounding area; caring for families of STFC as well as the local community.

The nursery offers a team of skilled early years professionals who are dedicated to protecting the wellbeing of children in their care and pursuing a proven curriculum of early years learning. The nursery provides regular extracurricular activities such as Forest School and Bright Horizons' Growing Programme, which includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, which has been designed to prepare children for their transition to school.

Children also have access to a well-resourced outdoor space in all weathers. An excellent nutritionally balanced menu, prepared by the on-site chef, has been carefully planned with a professional nutritionist and offers children many opportunities to experience different types of flavours.

The garden has recently undergone a full refurbishment.

Both my children attend Little Stars and absolutely love it.
I can't speak highly enough of the staff and the care they provide for the children.
I'm always impressed with the range of activities and food available.
Throughout the pandemic, I believe the Little Stars management have worked very hard
to ensure every one is as safe as possible.
I'm so pleased my children are able to attend and benefit hugely from Little Stars.

The caters at the nursery are so considerate and engaged with the children and their families. My little one loves going and always learns so much there through play. They have been super organised over COVID arrangements and safety, and I’m always 100% certain that everything is being done to the highest

My daughter goes to Little Stars and absolutely loves it. The staff are all really friendly and the communication with what they have been doing in the day is brilliant.
The range of food that they supply for lunches and break times is very good also. I would recommend Little Stars to anybody.

Our 2-year-old is very happy at Little Stars and learns new things every day she is there. She loves the staff in her room, and they do a lot of fun activities; that we don't do at home. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere between staff as well.

Our daughter has attended Little Stars for nearly four years and has recently left to start school. She has loved her time at the nursery and they have done so much to help her develop. We have been happy with each of the rooms she has been in and all of the staff have been so kind and caring. They
do so many activities with the children and have a brilliant garden so they get lots of fresh air. The nursery have put a lot of work into preparing our daughter for school and putting on a lovely graduation ceremony. It is a wonderful place to send your children and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Our son has been at Little Stars for a couple of months now and loves it. From the start the staff have been really supportive and caring, making him feel comfortable and helping him settle. He's always happy to see them in the morning. We get plenty of information on how his days have been and our
request for using reusable nappies was accepted immediately, in fact, the staff are used to this and so we didn't have to provide any additional information.


I cannot speak highly enough of Little Stars and am so pleased that our son is in such a welcoming place.

Little Stars is a fabulous nursery. The staff look after the children so well, they have a great range of activities and a lovely menu for lunch.
My eldest attended the nursery for 3 and a half years and now my youngest has just started.
We completely trust the staff to look after the children as
if they were their own and both of them have been/are very happy there.
I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

Our son has been attending Little Stars Nursery for the last three months part-time. Other than our initial worry on the first day of nursery we have never looked back. Little Stars is truly outstanding. We moved our son from another nursery to Little Stars and he has settled so quickly here, is cared for incredibly well, is stimulated on a daily basis and is developing so well thanks to this nursery. My son loves going to his nursery. He has a wonderful relationship with the carers in his section and he gives them a big smile when he meets them. They have slowly got him to be a less fussy eater and he learns a lot from the nursery. I am so glad he loves being there.

Our son currently attends Little Stars and is our 3rd child to do so. He is only 18 months but talks about his key worker at home and had clearly developed a good bond. I admit two years ago when my son started at the nursey I was concerned that being owned by Bright Horizons meant it would be too corporate, focused on business and making money rather than the care & development of my son.


I’m glad to say I was so wrong.

He absolutely loves going here, has always

formed a good bond with his care workers and the staff are just excellent; planning plenty of activities to engage his development, mentally as well as socially. Despite the mess during the day, the place is always clean and tidy at close of play.


There's a weekly emailed newsletter, which has good content of activities, showing the L&D focus for the coming week, as well as staff holidays and cover, and of course the weekly menu. The food is home-made, cooked daily, so not processed and packed with preservatives and salt. It's balanced and healthy, and he obviously enjoys it given the reports when I collect him.


I couldn't recommend Little stars more highly!! Excellent across the board!!

Little Stars Nursery is an outstanding nursery with exemplary staff. It's been a nurturing, supportive, safe and exciting place for all my babies to grow and develop into the amazing little people they are now, guided along the way by professional and dedicated people.


I am so thankful I have

given my children the best start they could ever have in life by being part of Little Stars. They have progressed through the nursery starting as caterpillars and becoming beautiful butterflies, whilst care has been taken to ensure each child is ready for the next step. The process to get the children ready for school, including initiatives like ‘school days’, ‘PE classes’ and ‘graduation’ is fantastic. This helps to equip them with the skills and behaviours they need to help them flourish in a new environment/routine.


My son’s keyworker inspired his imagination by facilitating his thinking, engaging his mind and listening to his questions. She encouraged him to take risks and she supported him when and if he struggled.
