My daughter has been attending since she was 10 months old. It took her a little while to adjust to going to nursery due to her personality but her key person has helped smooth the transition and she now loves her time there.

They have a lot more on offer than other nurseries as they seem to do lots of fun activities as well as having a fantastic selection of toys and books. The baby garden is well equipped. They have catered for lots of our special requirements including cloth nappies and it is as probably as close to being cared for at home as you can get in this sort of childcare environment. It is a lot more expensive than other nursery options in the area but the little touches make it worth the extra cost.

It has meant an enormous amount to us as a family to have had such wonderful support from the whole team at Julia Durbin, over the last 4 years. Until I became a parent, I really had no appreciation of how important great childcare is for both parents and children, especially in these early years. When I first signed my eldest son up to Caterpillars in 2012, I was such a nervous mum, and he was such an emotional baby! But with your help and nurture, he has blossomed into a wonderfully confident, sociable boy. And I'm so much more confident too (although the disorganisation and forgetfulness are incurable). Bringing my second son along in 2012 was a wonderful experience, he slotted right on in, and has been so loved by all of the staff. What an enormous difference it made to me when I had a toddler and a newborn, to know that I could bring them to a safe, happy, comfortable place.

Thank you, to the whole team.

My son recently started here and has settled in brilliantly. The team are dedicated to his security and development and each individual care team member has shown a caring attitude towards him. His key worker, is outstanding, as is the room leader (Bumblebee Room).

I have confidence leaving him in their care, knowing he is well looked after, stimulated and happy.

My daughter attended Julia Durbin for 3 1/2 years, progressing from the baby room through to pre-school. The care in each room was fantastic and my daughter formed very close relationships with her key people. She has made some lovely friends and we will miss the nursery very much! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Julia Durbin to anyone.

I am using Julia Durbin for a 2nd time with my son after my daughter was there for 4 years and loved it and I am pleased to say that it is still at the same high standard.
All the team are caring and helpful and it is very reassuring to know that your child is being so well cared for while you have to work. My son has settled in brilliantly and is very happy there!

I would highly recommend Julia Durbin!

Julia Durbin has been fantastic for my 2 year old son. He has been attending this nursery since he was 10 months old and each room he has been in, has been excellent. He has been encouraged to become independent and enjoys all the facilities and activities that are provided.

My daughter is just leaving Julia Durbin to start school, she has attended since she was 2 and a half. She has completely enjoyed her time at the nursery, I am sure because she has received such good care there. She tells me that she will miss all the grown ups very much. I have found everyone at the nursery to be professional and friendly, the nursery is very well resourced with lovely outdoor space, good toys, and the food is, according to my daughter, very nice! I would certainly recommend the nursery to anyone.

I would like to thank all members of staff that have helped with the care of my child. She has come on in leaps and bounds whilst attending the Julia Durbin Day Nursery, and whilst it was at the top of our price range, I couldn't have sent her anywhere else.

We as parents have been impressed with the level of education, the variety of meals and the care and compassion provided each day. Being able to go to work without a worry and knowing our child is in very capable hands has been more than relieving, this is just something money cannot buy.

What is your favourite feature of Julia Durbin?

Despite being on the hospital grounds we are almost secretly hidden within a lovely natural space and a huge natural garden. I also like our entrance and reception area as we get to greet all the families and visitors as they arrive.

What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?

Our ongoing recognition from Ofsted and amazing day nursery reviews from our parents. The staff have exceptional relationships with the families and each other which leaves a great morale across the nursery. The children are the heart of our Julia Durbin family.
