Busy Bees Gillingham, has been purpose-built with its own outdoor play area, versatile interior play and active learning areas and its own qualified cook. The service takes pride in treating each child as an individual and are able to take on specific requirements such as autism and behaviour management.

The aim of skilled professionals is to prepare children for the challenges of the next stage of their education, pursued through enjoyable and flexible play. The service hosts a number of parents' evenings and also has a visiting hairdresser.

Excellent experience. My child has fun every day, has built confidence and her speech has improved since being there. All staff are friendly and informative about her day. She eats better since being at nursery and now has lots more friends.

This nursery has such a welcoming and family orientated atmosphere, it’s like a home from home.
The team are so approachable, attentive and professional. The structure and activities for the children are fantastic and my son has thrived under their supervision. My son has transitioned from this nursery
to his school almost seamlessly and I believe this is down to the hard work the team had put in preparing him for the transfer of the environment.
Being a first time mum with a struggle of leaving my son in the care of others, I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. Please do not make the same mistake as I did and assume that higher Ofsted settings are superior and better for your child, I wished I had placed my son in this setting from the off. If I had, I would have had more value for money and an even more content child and confidence in his care. I’m grateful for the quality of care and support given to my son during the past year and the positive impact this experience will have on his future.

My daughter has only been at the nursery for a few months but we are so impressed with it all. From enquiring about a space to her starting, nothing has been too much trouble. The staff are all so kind and welcoming and my daughter's key worker is brilliant in keeping me up to date with her progress.
I had looked at a lot of nurseries before I decided on Busy Bees and instantly as I walked in, I knew my daughter would be safe and happy there. They do so many activities and my daughter's speech has come on so much in the short time she has been there.
It’s such a hard decision leaving your child in the hands of someone else, so thank you Busy Bees for making it that bit easier to do. I honestly cannot rate this nursery highly enough!

My little girl has thrived at this nursery. Even on days when she is a little unsettled and upset, I leave with full knowledge and comfort that the staff do their best to settle her and she goes on to have great days there! The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly and always accommodating when
needed. I couldn’t recommend enough.

Our daughter loves the nursery, the staff are friendly and make the effort to know the children and parents. Working full time was not an easy choice but knowing how much they care for the children and how happy our daughter is, makes it easier. So glad we chose this nursery for our little legs.

My son has always been a complex character and therefore we really struggled to get him settled into his brother's nursery. As soon as we put him in busy bees Gillingham the atmosphere the staff and the whole set up gave me a feeling of comfort knowing he was going to love it and he does. He started
in the baby room and is now in preschool and he loves the time he spends there. His key workers and all the others in his room pay particular attention to his needs and his likes and dislikes and always give us a great account of his day spent when we collect him. Any issues we may have had have been swiftly and promptly resolved and we have loved all of his key workers he has had in his time so far. Although this nursery is a little far out for us to get to we have been willing to make the daily journeys sit is a great place for my son and I can get to work each day knowing he is going to have a great day.

Highly recommend this nursery. My daughter has been going since Sept 2017. Any mum will know it is a hard and stressful time trying to find the right nursery and leaving your child for the first time. I went and visited multiple nurseries at first and believed this was the best nursery I visited out
of a possible 8+. My daughter enjoys her time there, she is always smiling when I drop her off and excited to see her key worker which is a great feeling. They are very informative and when I leave her I feel confident she is having fun and being well looked after, which is all I want. The rooms are always clean and full of toys and the staff are all friendly, approachable and caring. Cannot fault this nursery at all!

My child began attending this nursery in January and has settled in really well. All of the staff are welcoming, have a smile on their face and are happy to answer any questions. My daughter is only 9months and is always happy when I pick her up. The staff thoroughly talk me through what my daughter
has been up to; what she's played, what's she's eaten, how much milk she's had and what her nappies were like.

Since starting at nursery my son has progressed in leaps and bounds. He is sociable, has made friends and has developed a beautiful little personality. The nursery has worked with him on a number of things and he is now good with colours, numbers and is always running around the house singing nursery
rhymes. So much of this is down to the nursery.
The staff are lovely and always willing to help out with anything you need. A real friendly and caring environment and couldn't wish for a better nursery for my son to attend.

My son has been attending Busy Bees since he was six months old and has just started in the 2-3 years room. He has had a fantastic bond with each key person he has been assigned. They continuously keep me informed on his development. I really enjoy looking through his learning journey. The few minor
concerns I have had, have been addressed immediately by the management team. To that end, I would definitely recommend this nursery to another parent!

My 3-year-old son had attachment issues before starting at Busy Bees. Now his independence grows on a daily basis. He adores his key worker and loves every member of staff that he has come into contact with.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. My daughter has attended since she was eleven months and thoroughly enjoys it. If we haven't left home early enough she's trying to push me out of the door.


Her confidence is amazing and she learns every single day. I get updates on her progress daily and

a parents evening regularly to see her file which is full of pictures and reviews.


I feel like the staff genuinely care about my daughter's progress and actively engage with us to ensure we are working together to provide the best care. The management takes every comment seriously and acts on all feedback in a positive way.


10/10, I enrolled my son before he was born and have no hesitation recommending this nursery to my friends!

When I first visited the nursery in 2016 my son felt comfortable straight away as the staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome. We have recently returned in October 2017 to the nursery and the atmosphere in the nursery is warm and welcome still and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming.
My son absolutely loves the staff here and make him feel at home and he never wants to leave to come to his actual home.


I would 100% recommend this nursery to any parent who is nervous leaving their children when returning to work as the children are all happy and the building is clean and well looked after.


All the staff are professional and polite and you can really tell the staff care about every child in the nursery.

Cannot recommend Busy Bees Gillingham enough. My son has attended here since 11 months old and now at 3 is enjoying the preschool room.
The staff are child focused and will work with you to develop a routine around your child and not what works best for the majority. They are always willing to listen
to your experiences with your child and work hard to create a home from home for your little one.
I have always found the nursery policies to be very robust, easy to follow and safe for all. I have had few causes to complain but when I have flagged an issue it has been dealt with quickly and with care by all management.
They have recently begun providing breakfasts for parents on the run and their extracurricular opportunities such as Mother’s Day brunch and grandparents day are a beautiful touch.
I am very pleased with our choice of nursery and our soon to be born second child already has their name down for a place in the future.

My son absolutely loves coming here to the nursery. He has progressed so much, we see a change after every session.
The nursery is so supportive, they cater for all needs required. Staff are extremely lovely, very friendly and welcoming. I’m glad we made the decision for our son to attend Busy Bees
at Gillingham. I love seeing how happy and confident he is now. I would recommend this nursery 100%.

Our daughter started here full time in July 2017 and we couldn't be more pleased with the nursery. She loves her key worker and loves turning up every morning. She has made friends and we have noticed that she had come out of her shell and I can see that she is growing into a confident young lady
and the nursery has a lot to do with that. I'm so pleased we chose this nursery.

Would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family. My child is well looked after here and enjoys there time here. I’ve also noticed how my child’s development has improved. The nursery has lovely staff who always take there time at the end of my child’s session to tell me what my child has been
doing. The nursery keeps in constant contact which I think is very important with upcoming events etc. This nursery was recommended by a family member so glad I was recommended this nursery.

My name is Kelly, and I am the Centre Director at the Nursery. I joined Busy Bees in 2016 and started as the Assistant Manager, I became the Centre Director in August 2016. I hold a level 3 in Early Years Childcare and have had previous experience of managing  Nurseries, as a team we strive and maintain excellent standards ensuring every child gets the best start in life. 


I have worked with children of all ages, from 3 months to 5 years. I also have 2 of my own children. My eldest attended the Nursery from the age of 6 months up until he started School, and my youngest is currently in the Baby Unit.  Both my boys have settled well and love all that Busy Bees has to offer.
