Activeplay Nursery and Preschool

Couldn't recommend this nursery enough. My daughter loved it there. The staff are friendly and brilliant. The facilities, particularly the garden are great. My daughter left the nursery early due to family circumstances related to the coronavirus outbreak and was so disappointed she couldn't return. Best nursery in Sittingbourne.

Well, what can I say about this nursery? My son loved it, my daughter loved and when your kids come home and won't stop talking about their teachers and how much fun they've had, you'll love the nursery too.

Activeplay Nursery have been amazing in every aspect. We can not fault them at all. Our child has some mild behaviour issues and they were so supportive, caring and helped him and us as parents.

Before my daughter started at Activeplay Nursery in January this year, she was shy and would not really go to anyone other than myself, my partner or my mum. It was very hard leaving her as she would get so upset but the staff constantly reassured me and would even call or post a photo on the tapestry app to let me know she was fine, which put my mind at rest. I can see what activities they carry out which still amazes me, they do all sorts from fruit tasting to doing obstacle courses outside! My daughter is delayed with her speech and they have provided extra help, 1-1 time and she has come leaps and bounds. I wouldn’t have the bubbly loving character I have today without the help of the staff, they are so friendly and caring for all the children and I cannot thank them enough! We’re moving house and I’m not willing to move my daughter as she is receiving such good care and has made friends with the other children and staff, would definitely recommend!

My son enjoys every day he spends at Active Play with the children and teachers. They have fun both inside and out in the garden and make the most of the space they have. I would recommend to anyone.

We have a son who is 2 months old and we will certainly be sending him here when my wife returns to work.

The best nursery in Swale and should be number 1 on any parents list! Our daughter has been extremely happy here since her first day. During her time at Activeplay, our daughter has gone from strength to strength and grown in confidence. A well-varied amount of indoor and outdoor activities for the children to enjoy every day, alongside one-off events throughout the year which are engaging and sees every child happily take part. Offering onsite cooked meals and a dining room is something not often seen in many nurseries, and is a huge plus as one of the many services Activeplay provide as a standard. The owner has a well-established team of caring professionals who evidently love working with the children and take pride in their work. All of this is reflected in how our daughter has thrived in their care, and as parents, we’ve never had a worry or concern when our daughter was in their care. A 5* nursery that certainly sets the standards for others nurseries to aspire to!

Activeplay has been a fantastic nursery for my Son. They have given him a good start ready for when he begins school, September this year. I have found every single teacher @ Activeplay very friendly and caring. I would highly recommend this nursery and will be sending my daughter here too.

Clean and tidy.

My son has been attending this nursery since he was 18 months old. I was anxious about leaving him, however from his first day the staff were brilliant and made me feel at ease. The nursery is very accommodating to your needs and very supportive. They are informative to how he has been can regularly see on Tapestry what he has been doing. His speech has come on and I am very happy with his development. My son is always happy when I pick him up, talks highly of the staff, made lots of friends and has developed well as a mother I can't ask for, much more than that well done Activeplay Nursery.

Recently my youngest child has started at Activeplay Nursery and he has been made to feel very welcome. As he is only 9 months old the staff have asked us what his routine is and they follow this everyday (even when we change it!). All of the staff are very happy to see you in the morning and evening and always greet you with a smile and ask how we are. My son takes part in different activities during his week and these are regularly posted on Tapestry - which is a fantastic way of seeing how my little man is doing at nursery. We also like to share what we do at the weekends. This is my second child who has attended Activeplay and I would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a nursery for their child.

I would highly recommend Activeplay Nursery to everyone living in the area. First their opening times are great for working parents, second, I know that my son is in safe hands. Staff are so friendly and made us feel very welcome. We're originally from Latvia so my child started nursery without languages, today he speaks better than me:) Best nursery I could wish for my son.

When it was time for me to go back to work I really struggled to leave my daughter with anyone however Active Play nursery staff made it easier for me. When I walked in every morning I was greeted with a genuine smile and my daughter would reach towards the girls showing she felt safe with them. When I got back from work to pick her up I was also greeted with the same smile and I will find my daughter happy playing with other children

Tapestry was updated with pictures and videos regularly which enabled me to easily share with my family and work friends how my daughter is doing at Nursery and see that she is meeting her milestones.

During the search for a nursery for our daughter, it was actually my husband that immediately said "she has to go here" after visiting Activeplay - for him to have such a strong opinion I was in shock! He said that he'd never witnessed 'children in a large group being so polite, calm and happy' - and he was right. Our daughter has been well cared for, engaged with and motivated right from the start. She loves going 'to school' and telling me all about what she's done in a day. My favourite feature of Activeplay is the proper dining room the children use for meal times (the food smells delicious and my daughter always gives me a breakdown of what she's munched in the day) - they also have a library and beautiful garden too. The staff are genuine, friendly and welcoming. On the rare occasions where we've had to ask for a change or extra time, we've been accommodated and I believe that's directly down to the high calibre of staff and the excellent management you will find at Activeplay.

All staff at the Nursery and lovely and go out their way to make sure my daughter is happy during the time that she is there. Nothing is too much for them to do. My daughter would go every day of the week if she could. As a parent I feel that the nursery has her best interests at heart and if I feel concerned about anything they are more then willing to help and give advice where needed. This nursery feels more like a family then a business and I would recommend to anyone looking that they should consider putting their children into this nursery.

Me eldest son attended Activeplay from the age of 11 months until he left to start primary school and my youngest son will be leaving soon to start primary school. The staff have always made us feel welcome and made it easy for me to approach any member of staff to raise any concerns I have had. They are always very flexible and accommodating to mine and my sons needs. The start always take the time each morning to talk to you and to get to know you and your child. I have recommended the nursery to friends and family and will continue to do so. The staff will be greatly missed by myself and my sons.
