Pennies Day Nursery - Newnham Court, Maidstone

My daughter has been going for over 18 months and I could not be happier with how the nursery operates. Everything I have seen has been exceptional and I would not hesitate to recommend Pennies. Communication is fantastic, the staff are lovely and my daughter comes home very happy. Nothing I would change.

Since we went for an open day when my son was 12 weeks old, we have felt that Pennies was the right place for him. Our son has now been attending Pennies for 18 months and since the first day he started, he has always enjoyed going to Pennies and has been delighted with the staff he has been within both the Baby Unit and Star Gazers. He fondly talks about them when he is not there and asks to see his friends at Pennies. Throughout the COVID-19 situation, I have felt that the staff take the matter seriously and I have no doubt that my son is being looked after well. The whole organisation, from the management to staff in the units are approachable and professional and I would recommend them to my friends to send their children to them. Thank you for looking after our son so well and for always having a smile on your face!

My little one attends the after school service. He thoroughly enjoys his time there. They encourage him with new activities as well as having the opportunity to engage in activities on the computer or playing pool etc. They actively promote tasting new foods, which is always a positive!

I cannot recommend Pennies Newnham Court enough. My son thrived here. They told us initially that schools would know a Pennies child and it’s absolutely true. My son was incredibly happy and content at Pennies. The staff treated him as an individual, not just another child coming through their doors. He wouldn’t be the bright, happy, confident child he is today if it wasn’t for Pennies and the staff there. The staff worked with him to encourage his imagination to explore. They taught him so much I as a parent wasn’t able to and they installed confidence in him to be who he is. I will forever be grateful for the love, care and time they gave to him.

My 2-year-old son started at Pennies in September 2020 and he loves it. He gets very excited when we tell him he is off to nursery and loves his key worker. All the staff are very friendly and my son is always happy to see them. Having access to Tapestry and being able to see what my son has been up to is great and so nice to see how he is developing. I was a little anxious about my son starting nursery, but from our first tour of the nursery and meeting the staff, I felt very confident that he would be well looked after and have so much fun there. I would definitely recommend Pennies to anyone looking for a nursery.

I would have no hesitation recommending Pennies to family and friends, my son has been attending for the last year since he was 5 months old. The staff are professional, caring and we never have any tears when dropping off as he is so happy and comfortable being there. They have amazing facilities with lots of fun-filled activities planned for the children and keep you up to date with what they have been getting up to throughout the day. Absolutely the best nursery in Maidstone!

I couldn’t rate Pennies highly enough. They have been so accommodating and inclusive of our son who has additional needs. They keep us informed of what they are doing through pictures which is really reassuring especially as we can’t go inside due to COVID. We moved our daughter from a different nursery so that our children would be at the same nursery and she is so much happier here. We have no more tantrums in the morning which makes life much easier. My son has settled in so well into Awesome Asteroids since September and he comes out so happy every day! He absolutely loves the big garden, with all the equipment, especially the mud kitchen. He's also really enjoying the singing they do of popular nursery rhymes, something which he’s never really enjoyed before. His teachers are so lovely and very approachable should you have any problems. I would highly recommend Pennies ‘term-time’ preschool room, my son loves it!

My daughter has attended Pennies since she was a baby and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The nursery itself is modern, clean and full of fun and interactive toys for the children. The garden is amazing and my daughter always comes home excited to tell me about her day. The team are a credit to Pennies, staff from the preschool room completely put me at ease. They plan fun activities throughout the day and my daughter doesn't stop talking about them. They are happy, kind and warm ladies who have brought the best out in my daughter, she loves going in each day to see them and misses them during the school holidays! Cannot recommend this nursery enough.

Great nursery all round. My little boy started when he was eight months old and now goes to holiday club during the holidays. He loves it and enjoys all the different activities and day trips. Staff are friendly and nothing is ever too much. The large outside space in amazing.

Both my children attend Pennies at Newn ham Court and have done since they were two. The nursery is fantastic in every way and my two have thrived since attending. They have funfilled productive days and parents are always kept informed of the day and indeed their journey. Would highly recommend to any parent thinking of putting their child into nursery. Facilities are fantastic both indoors and out.

The best nursery in Maidstone, my boy loves it and he missed you so much. Every day he asks about certain carers and kids from his group. We cant wait to go back there. I hope to see you soon.

Amazing staff and facilities. Could not be happier with my son’s care, through the nursery and now the kids club (breakfast and after school and holiday clubs). Highly recommend for any parent as can be confident their children are in good hands and extremely well cared for. Like home from home.

Pennies offer an absolutely outstanding service when enrolling your child into their care. I was so apprehensive around the whole process with my newly one-year-old daughter but I’ve really had my worries blown away with their capability and standard of care. The nursery itself is just beautiful and you will find so many features - big and small - which I just didn’t find other nurseries offered in the same way. I love the simplicity of packing my little one's nursery bag as Pennies supply everything they need, I just pop extra clothes and a coat in her bag and we are good to go, no faffing about with nappies, cream or milk. My daughter was going through some fairly extreme separation anxiety when she started at Pennies so I knew the journey ahead was going to be difficult, but I’ve been met with positivity and enthusiasm each time I’ve gone to drop her off/pick her up. It’s wonderful and really puts my worries at ease knowing she is in such good hands. Thank you!

My baby son attends the nursery and my older children do after school club in Infants and Juniors. The staff are wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. Equipment is all top to date and it's a lovely environment for the children to be in. The holiday clubs are great too.

We are so pleased with the standard of care given to our daughter. She is gaining so much confidence and we are so grateful to all of the staff and their efforts to help our daughter develop. Would highly recommend.

My daughter joined in September 2019. She is 2 and a half years old now. My daughter enjoys the nursery, especially the big garden play area. The staff are very friendly and are teaching her so many different things. The activities are brilliant from play/learning/baking. The food they provide is well balanced and my daughter enjoys trying new things. She loves going in. She does whole days. As they develop they move to different classes which I really like, this will eventually prepare my daughter for school.

My daughter attended Pennies Day Nursery and now my son does. I have always been so impressed with the facilities and the girls that work there are so lovely. They genuinely show they care about my son. The food choice is fab and the garden is amazing. Highly recommend. I love being able to go to work knowing my son is happy and trusting that they have his best interests at heart.

Amazing setting for my twin girls, they have really flourished in this setting, the staff at the nursery are brilliant. The home cooked meals are great.
