Our children love spending their days at Oaklands. Our daughter is in the preschool class where there is a wide range of activities such as cooking, sporty stars, Spanish and forest school. The staff are preparing her well for school. Our son is in the babies class and is very well cared for. He has developed so much since he joined. The garden is fantastic and well set up for all ages of the nursery. The staff are very friendly and caring and we are happy that we have chosen Oaklands.
We have only recently moved to Oaklands from a previous nursery that our son went to for nearly 3 years and we are so impressed with Oaklands we only wish we had moved him earlier. The only things we could improve would be we have asked for Tapestry login 3 times and haven't yet had it and so not getting the newsletters and secondly, some of the new menus don't seem suitable/appropriate for young children's tastes.

Our daughter really enjoys her time here in pre-school. The staff are really friendly and help in settling our daughter of a morning when she first arrives. She really enjoys all the activities and storytelling during her days here. We feel really comfortable leaving her here and our only concern is the new food menu. Our daughter really enjoys her food but recently to be turning up and told she never ate her lunch or dinner is slightly worrying.

All three of my children have attended Oaklands and my youngest is currently in the toddler room. The care has been fantastic over the time I have been a parent here and the staff and deputy manager were amazing when one of my children was so ill she needed emergency medical care. They've been wonderful settling my initially reluctant babies - they all formed very strong attachments to their key workers. It's a wonderful nursery and my kids have loved their time here.

Both of my children have been at nursery from a baby through to school. They were very well prepared for school and transitioned well. The staff are wonderful and care for children with kindness and love. The facilities are excellent with a wonderful garden and one day a week Forest School per child in pre-school. The nursery has recently been taken over by a chain, therefore changes may take place and there may be teething issues.

The staff are what make Oaklands, they are always upbeat and smiling. Thanks to them for the care they put in. I think the other strength of the nursery is that it prepares pre-schoolers really well for school.

Since moving to Tonbridge in December, both our boys have been warmly welcomed at Oaklands from the word go, and bonded with the amazing staff. The outdoor area was a big draw for us, and along with Forest School, keeps them active. Both have a big smile on their face every day we pick them up.

Nursery Manager, Inga Page, has a wealth of experience in childcare and is supported by a passionate and committed staff team. Inga and her team give each and every child the opportunity to grow in confidence and reach their full potential.
Inga has completed CACHE Diploma in Children and young people's Workforces Level 3.
Inga has been working at Oaklands Nursery since 1998 when she started as a Nursery Assistant and is now currently Nursery Manager.
Maxine started at Oaklands in 1999 as a Nursery Assistant and is now currently deputy manager. She has a Level 3 CACHE Diploma in children and young people's workforces and she has a Level 3 in Management and Leadership.
