I pick my niece up often and always have a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and the nursery is clean, tidy and a good environment to learn and have fun! She always comes out with a smile on her face and loves to go back in the morning.

My niece has been going to this nursery for over a year now, she can't get through the door quick enough in the mornings, and I don’t even get a wave goodbye, more so since the management team have been put in place, they have turned the place right around, and it feels warm, cosy and nurturing. I’d
love to say a massive thank you to all the staff in my niece's room who make her feel very welcome and take the time out of their day to tell me what she's been up to throughout her days at nursery. I would happily recommend this nursery to all parents.

I pick up my grandaughter twice a week and when I ask her about her day, she is telling me everything and it brings a smile to my face.
So by what my granddaughter said, she is loving her time at nursery which I think is the best way to get kids to enjoy school.

I'm really happy with the nursery. I think the manager is really hands-on and really cares about the children; she often sits with my son if he's upset, and that's so nice to know. She is very quick to email me back when I ask anything. My son loves it in there (although he still cries when dropped
off!); he seems to have lots of fun in there, and he loves his key person and all the activities/messy play. The only thing I'd say is the app could do with updating, as we don't always get any updates on how he is doing during the day, we sometimes get pictures of him having fun, and that's great.

My granddaughter attends Millennium First Steps Nursery. She used to come home and not talk about nursery at all. Now she tells us of all the exciting things she has done during the day. She especially loves the messy play and tells us how she has mixed paint to make new colours, dug in the soil and
covered herself with foam or play dough. This nursery has been completely transformed from what it was, due to the excellent new manager and deputy. They are both proactive, endlessly cheerful, innovative and so helpful. Their love for the children and desire to improve the nursery is obvious. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who wants their children to have fun, learn and be nurtured.

The staff and managers at the nursery itself are lovely. They really care about the children and provide lots of fun activities for them. They communicate well about what the children are doing and are unfailingly kind. They are conscientious about dietary requirements. We have total confidence in the
staff. I have given only four stars because there have been some problems with the higher management. For example, parents were not told when key staff were leaving (this has since improved). Bills themselves have sometimes had errors and we have had to re-check ours to avoid paying too much, or too little. The billing team is quick to threaten exclusion if any payments are even slightly late.

Our daughter has been going since she was 9 months old and is now transitioning from the toddler room to the preschool. She absolutely loves it. Each morning she asks if she has nursery. Millennium has been so beneficial for her, helping her grow in confidence and now supporting her speech and her development.
Our daughter has glue ear and fluctuating hearing loss but she is treated no differently. Staff have always been amazing and happy to learn and understand more about what they can do to support her in nursery. Our daughter is excited to go to nursery, she looks forward to seeing the staff and her friends she has made at the nursery.

Our two sons love the nursery. They have made close friends and are excited to visit them every morning. The staff are brilliant and listen to our needs. You can also sense that they are wonderful with the children and care about them very much. Although the garden could be bigger, I could not be happier
that we chose this nursery. They are economical within the area, conveniently located next to the train station, and of course, a great nursery establishment.
Highly recommended!

We have sent both our children to Millennium and have witnessed them advance while attending. The staff make the children feel at home and encourage them to explore and investigate, helping to develop their personalities. The current nursery manager is beyond helpful and is always on hand to answer
any queries we may have, and she ensures our child is happy, content and safe.

I'm so pleased with the way my child has been cared for and the progress he has made since starting here. The staff are warm and welcoming and plan engaging and exciting activities that really take on board children's interests and personalities.
The food served is varied and nutritious. The recent
introduction of the app to show what your child has done each day has left us feeling fully informed as parents. The only wish would be for more outdoor space, although this is counterbalanced by the great location. I would highly recommend Millennium First Steps!

Overall we are very happy with the nursery. My daughter joined Millennium First Steps in April 2021. During her first 6 months, a lot of the staff changed and I must say, for the better! New Room managers were appointed as well as a new nursery manager, and they have all been great, super professional
but very personable as well.
They are continuously adapting the nursery to create a better environment for the children, such as implementing a sports club or mixing up the games in their rooms. But for parents as well, they have updated the process in which we interact to make it smoother and more seamless. Most recently they implemented a new platform for parents to keep track of what their children are doing and it has been excellent!
My child's confidence has come a long way and I am confident she is a more outgoing, resilient and overall happier child for going to Millennium First Steps.

My child has been coming here for 3 years now. It's a happy place to play and learn and the staff are all lovely, approachable and professional. I couldn't have asked for better care. There's a good range of food provided too.

My son attended Millennium Nursery and had a truly positive experience with them.
He built a great relationship with his key worker, who was so supportive and caring.
All the staff were fantastic with my son, who has additional needs. I feel he came on so much during his time there which prepared
him for the next step of school.
My son was sad to leave due to the bonds he had built with the staff.
He really was so happy at Millennium which in turn meant that I did not worry.
I would recommend Millennium and plan on sending my daughter there.

Over the past two years, the team at Millennium First Steps Nursery have been so amazing in the growth and development of both my children. In 2020, my son started at Millennium First Steps in the toddler room (sunshine) and is now in the preschool (rainbow) room. He enjoys going in and always loves
to tell me what he gets up to. My daughter has this year recently joined the baby room (little clouds). The girls were exceptional at helping her settle in and putting my mind at ease. The new parent app is also pretty good, features such as the diary keep myself and my husband well informed of what the kids get upto daily.

Our son attended Millennium once a week for about a year. Despite it not being his primary setting, the staff welcomed him and made him feel at ease from day one. We were particularly impressed with the report we had during parent evening, the observations collected for our son were very detailed and
relevant, and the next steps in his learning journey are very carefully planned. Overall, we had a very good experience and I would definitely recommend Millennium.

My son has been at the nursery for just over a year. He is quiet at nursery, so I was really impressed that the nursery staff noticed that he would benefit from some support in having more confidence in group settings. They put a plan in place, which they discussed with me, and it seems to have improved
his confidence. The needs of quiet, well-behaved children can be ignored in group settings like nurseries and schools, so I was really impressed that they took the time to put in place extra support for him. The children go outside every day, usually twice a day, I think, and do a range of activities. The nursery practitioners have always been friendly to me and my sons (my older son also attended the nursery). There is a new nursery manager this year, who seems very good and approachable. My son is in the pre-school room and I like the room leader too, she seems to take pride in her work and make it fun for the children.

Great nursery, the staff are well qualified and always try to adapt to each child. The rooms are big, with lots of space for the kids to play and move. The opening time is also a plus! Only two issues: the car park is always full (other business) and it can be tricky to find a place and a turnover of
management.
My 2 daughters attended the nursery from 6 months to 4 years, and they have grown in confidence and learned so many things. My older one left 2 years ago but is still so happy to pick up her sister and say hello to the staff.

My daughter just graduated from preschool after being in this nursery for three years. She had a fantastic time in a calm and friendly environment with very caring and highly trained staff. She was always happy and never cried at drop off. I highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

My twin sons have attended Millennium First Steps Nursery since they were 10 months old and start school this September. The team have always been incredibly supportive and the boys have loved their time there. Despite the challenges of Covid the staff have remained accessible and kept us involved and
up to date as best they can. The location of the nursery is great for London commuters and good value compared to other Hitchin nurseries.

My children have been at Millennium First Steps Nursery for nearly a year now, and I continue to be impressed with their level of care, tailored to each of my children's needs. Hello, I am Sophie and I became the manager here at Millennium First Steps Nursery in Hitchin, in March. I relocated from South London where I was in childcare for 19 years and had been a manager for 8 years. I am dedicated to making a difference to young lives and shaping the future generation. I believe the dedication and passion of our staff, paired with our nurturing, home from home environment, is what makes our nursery special.
