Rafles Nursery & Preschool - Cheshunt

My experience with Rafles has been nothing short of exceptional. From the start, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere that put our minds at ease. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the well-being and development of each child. They go above and beyond to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive and succeed. My son absolutely loves not only his key person but all the key staff in the room. The facility is clean, safe, and equipped with a wide range of educational toys and activities that keep the children engaged and learning. I've noticed significant progress in my son's social skills, language development, and overall confidence since starting. The communication with the nursery is fantastic. We receive regular updates, including photos and detailed reports on our child's progress. I wholeheartedly recommend Rafles to any parent looking for a reliable and loving place for their child. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

Rafles Nursery and Preschool is a lovely setting and we would highly recommend it. They have gone above beyond for our child and made it possible for him to go to nursery. Our son has type one diabetes, they made sure that staff were trained and that he was well looked after and supported. They kept us informed and communicated regularly with us. Everyone knew who he was and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. They think about everything and have lots of different activities to help with children's development. They have helped ensure our son is ready to start school, his confidence has grown and he has loved his time at nursery. We are so thankful to all the staff.

My daughter has attended Rafles for the last 4 years and we could not have asked for more. The care, love and support from all of the staff at Rafles has been amazing, for her and also for us as a family. They have helped my daughter grow in many ways, but especially in her confidence. The activities that are planned are so well thought out, themed, educational and fun! We love that there is so much outdoor space, with the mud garden being a firm favourite. Sports day and graduation day were so special, thank you! It's been such a pleasure to get to know everyone over the years and we leave this chapter with precious memories.

My child entered Rafles at lower preschool and has absolutely loved it, as have I. She has loved the easily accessible outside space in addition to the walks the staff take them on in nearby surrounding green spaces. There are always fun and educational activities being planned, with world or religious events being marked too (Olympics, Christmas, Divali etc) my little one particularly started coming out of her shell when she engaged in circle time, a little morning gathering with smaller groups to talk about their weekends or their letter or number of the day. With a fresh food menu my child has explored lots of different foods with always healthy additions to any meal with good snacks, too. Staff and keyworkers have always given good feedback at pickup time and provide reviews periodically about my child's progress as well as some contact in the daytime regarding naptimes, nappy changes and what food they've eaten, as well as key room activity updates. Would highly recommend Rafles.

I have had my children at Rafles for 6 years now and while preparing for my youngest to leave for school we will be so sad to not be visiting Rafles anymore, they have been a huge part in our lives. My children have all had a home-from-home experience while being cared for, all the girls are absolutely brilliant. The activities are constant and there is always an option to suit their mood and needs. The outdoor space at Rafles is incomparable to others in the area as they have multiple gardens and the adjacent fields, a pond and a playground, rain or shine my kids love to be outdoors exploring and Rafles facilitate this, not afraid of getting messy. Rafles do an excellent job preparing the children for school, starting phonics work and writing which is a great start to their learning journeys to begin.

I'm glad we followed our instincts with choosing Rafles for our daughter and have and will continue to recommend it to all parents looking for a nurturing nursery for their child.

My son has attended Rafles since June 2022, at the time we suspected he was on the path to being diagnosed Autistic and from the moment we met with all of the team they have done everything they possibly can to put us at ease. Doing what they can to adapt things, meaning he can learn in his own individual way. We cannot put into words how grateful we are for everything, they have gone above and beyond what we could have ever asked for. All of the staff, even those that don't work directly with our son are so caring, loving and like extended family. All so excited to show me what he has achieved each day and our son beams with happiness around all the staff. The management have been there every step of the way with us to help secure what our son needs from the LA and education system. Endless meetings, 1:1 therapies and the countless amounts of forms, nothing is too much. We couldn't have done the last 2 years, battling through a broken SEN system without the support of everyone at Rafles.

Not sure where to begin! My son started when he was 2 just after lockdown and struggled! The attentiveness, care, attention etc list goes on is second to none. I couldn't have chosen a better nursery than Rafles the milestones my son has reached and the bond myself and him have formed with the girls here I will never forget they are more than teachers. Every week he learns something new every week we're in the loop with activities and what they eat. The nursery is so productive which I love! They care for your well-being too. I wish he could stay here forever for his education but unfortunately it's not the case! Thank you so much to every single person at Rafles for this amazing nursery I am going to miss so much.

My son has recently moved up a room after being with the nursery for 16 months. The care and attention he has received in the baby room during this time has been exemplary. I cannot fault the staff and cannot thank them enough for everything they have done to support his development. It is daunting having your first child attend nursery but all of the staff have been incredibly supportive and now he is part of lower preschool I am experiencing the same level of attention and care. My second son is to start with the baby room, due to my previous experience I have zero anxiety or worry. Every day I pick my child up he is happy, clean and fed. He eats everything there, veg included! And despite all of the amazing messy play activities he is always changed and cleaned up ready for pickup. I have no doubt that if I ever had any concerns the nursery would support me however to this date I have none! I would, and have, recommended the nursery to several mums, all of whom have since joined!

The food provided is also excellent, nutritional, varied and the children say delicious!

My little one attended from 1 year old starting from the nursery room, via Lower preschool and Upper preschool. Loved all staff in every room, and the time was always nicely organised, with loads of special events. He is a picky eater and so had to bring his own lunches, but he is always encouraged to try nursery lunches and sometimes successfully he discovers new flavours. The menu is provided in advance so we can plan accordingly. The outside space is amazing and loads of it, which helps since we don't have a garden. You can pick from different start/finish hours to make it work for you, staff and management are flexible and caring. I couldn't recommend Rafles enough, simply an amazing place!

Really warm and caring Key Workers, great facilities and activities for the children. Always very accommodating and great value for money. The App is also very useful and we always feel updated. Highly recommend

We will miss Rafles once my son leaves and I'd recommend it to all parents in the area.

I would say to anybody considering a place here for their child/baby, as a mother I would recommend Rafles in a heartbeat.

Rafles is the best nursery around.

Overall, I have been delighted with Rafles Nursery & Preschool - Cheshunt. My son started when he was six months and is now one years old. In that time he has really thrived. The nursery room staff are excellent, they keep you well informed via the app and send you updates and photos which is kind and reassuring.His key worker is brilliant and provides updates on new skills and how he is developing. They will also do their best to work around your routine in terms of sleep and feeding. They also do a variety of activities with the children from painting to outdoor based things. When I pick up my son he is happy and has clearly been well looked after, I can't praise them highly enough.

The nursery and the staff are outstanding. The facilities are very good. The food is freshly cooked on-site every day. The staff are absolutely amazing and love what they are doing. My son loves going there every day and he has learnt so much! I cannot recommend highly enough. I have had 2 children attend the nursery and would not go to another nursery.
