The Park has been a great place for my older daughter and I know she will miss everyone.
Staff always give lots of information regarding their day and are very supportive.

We are currently settling our second daughter into the baby room and I am happy with how flexible they have been to accommodate

our needs.
The room leader and the team have eased my worries about leaving her and have bonded with her well.

Our daughter started attending The Park Day Nursery about a month ago. I was very concerned whether she will settle in as she was only 17 months. However, she has settled very quick and she's absolutely loving it, and so much looking forward to going there. I am so thankful to the staff, that is not
they are so kind and caring.

Every single day, I happily walk from the other side of Watford, 25 minutes to the nursery and back, because I know that he is in good hands, without any second thoughts or worries.

Our son has some difficulties in his development and needs a bit more attention. With the love and care that he got

from the toddler group team my son came far: after a couple of weeks he settled beautifully, without tears and within a few weeks he came to love nursery. Our son has had great support and freedom to become a better little person, who now enjoys playing, singing, dancing, eating and cuddling - things that he showed little interest in previously.

Every day the staff inform me about his day - what went well and not so well too, and I always feel it to be honest and thorough feedback including which activities he enjoyed, and how much he involved himself.

My child comes home as a happy child from nursery every single time and you can tell from his face: "I had a good day, Mum" :)

The atmosphere at the nursery is very welcoming due to the genuine nature of the staff working there.

Our daughter has just started attending the nursery this month and she is very happy there and she looks forward to going there. She always talks about her carers, who are so patient with the children

and are willing to listen to our concerns and advise us accordingly.

Would highly recommend this nursery!

My son has been attending the nursery from babies and now is excelling in pre-school. He absolutely loves it, especially the staff who are so kind and friendly. I also have a baby who has just started going and already the staff have managed to make him so comfortable like home from home.

+ Our child has been very happy at the nursery and settled in with out any problems. He goes to the staff with out any fuss when being dropped off. I am always informed of any problems and contacted before any medicine is used. The nursery seems to do a lot of activities with the children and everyone
seems to know who my son is and seems very happy there.

- Parents with large 4x4 vehicles, whose children can walk, should maybe think of parking outside, as there have been times when I haven't been able to get out of the car park as my child is not walking and I also have to drop off a buggy. Give priority to non walking children!

The Park Nursery has been a wonderful nursery for both my two children. Our first impressions were excellent when meeting the Manager & Staff. My son started in the baby room at 8 months & is now in Pre-school, finishing soon. Both children absolutely love Nursery and are so happy to be left. The staff
are all amazing and have such a keen interest in each child, working with us to help and develop our children. The staff have been excellent at assisting with making my son take his medicine, (which he would refuse with us) potty training, and helping our daughter to not need her dummy. They also make transitions from each room as easy as possible. Staff turnover is low, many of the staff have been there a long time & they all get to know the children, which helps to make children feel at ease. There is an excellent range of activities for them, toys, play area, nature walk and garden. I always leave the nursery feeling positive and happy, it really is a pleasure to go there.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for about two years and I have been really happy with the progress she has made. The attitude of all the staff is excellent, every member is courteous, helpful, friendly and most importantly fantastic with children. My daughter is always happy to attend nursery
and it is truly a comfort to know she is enjoying her day while I am away at work. The nursery offers a safe, stimulating and exciting environment. Now in pre-school, my daughter has enjoyed playing with the new toys and equipment.
I could not recommend this nursery more. I can always share my concerns (which are addressed immediately) and my daughter is always happy. I couldn't ask for more!

My son has been coming to The Park Nursery since February 2015 when he was 9 months he started in babies , moved on to toddlers and still excelling in his new room 2-3's . He absolutely loves it there and has created a great bond and friendship with staff members from all rooms . I am informed of what
he does daily I know that my child is having fun, learning lots and being cared for by people who genuinely enjoy what they do . My son comes home with new words and sentences and is constantly surprising myself and my husband. Its amazing to see the progress and support he gets . I had great help in the ' removing dummy ' transition and now getting the help and support on our next hurdle of potty training. I chose this nursery as it was recommended to me by 2 friends and that was enough for me for this to me my first and only choice of childcare for my son.

My child started going to this nursery when he was 3 and he was bit worried initially, didn't talk much and even used to pee in pants when he got sad. The nursery staff were very understanding and they helped my kid overcome his fears so professionally that he changed drastically. He just loves going
to the nursery and wants to be there even on weekends. His learning curve is increasing so dominantly that I am extremely pleased and proud. He is very very well behaved and it's a joy to see him grow so happily. I would want to give more credit to the nursery as I am a full time working mom and he spends more time at the nursery and loves his teachers as they adore him too!!

My son is going to the nursery in the last 7 months. He is on part time at the moment, but I'm hoping that will change soon.
The staff have always been welcoming, friendly and happy! Every time when I pick him up, I get all the information regarding his care, food and activities they've done during
the day.
The place always looks clean and tidy, the garden is specious and inviting and the staff reports that my son really enjoys his time outside.

Both of my children have attended The Park Nursery from 10 months old. My daughter (my youngest) is due to leave this summer to start school in September. I could not have asked for more from the staff. My daughter loves her time there and the staff have become extended family. We will all be very sad
to say goodbye. They make learning fun and do a wide range of activities with the children daily. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Both of my children have attended The Park Nursery during their pre school years and have absolutely loved it. It was a great stepping stone for my son in preparation for his school journey, he started school full of confidence and I believe this was to do with the time he spent at The Park Nursery.
My daughter is due to graduate from the pre school room this August and I am confident she is ready for the start of her school chapter and again this is down to the support and learning she has received during her time at the nursery. Both my children have attended nursery from a young age and it has been amazing watching them grow and move on through the different rooms from the baby room right through to the pre school and then graduation.

The care my son receives at The Park Nursery is amazing and I can genuinely say we love all of the staff.
The environment and facilities are brilliant but more than anything it's being able to leave my son totally safe in the knowledge that he is well looked after, cared for and loved. Communication
with staff and updates are very good, his activities are varied and children are encouraged self development.

The most outstanding feature of this nursery is the manager and the team. They are passionate and enthusiastic and make you and your child feel like part of a big family.

My partner and I are very happy for our daughter to attend The Park Day Nursery. I feel safe leaving my daughter in the hands of all the helpful and friendly staff. She has progressed so much from the first day she started, from her social skills improving to her academic skills. I would highly recommend
this nursery to friends and family.

Both my daughters have been at The Park since they were about 10 months old, my eldest will be leaving to go to school in September. I always feel very informed of what they are doing and what they are helping to develop. I know that my children are having fun, learning lots and being cared for by
people who genuinely love what they do.

The food options are varied and the girls substitutes can be arranged if need be, babies have their own room to sleep in for naps, and the outside space is great with a nature walk, play area and garden. My eldest also loves her Spanish lessons in preschool too - she has taught me and daddy key words and phrases too!!
I have already and will continue to recommend this nursery.

I know that myself and the girls will be sad when we say goodbye to the lovely people at The Park.

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.494)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.494) out of 10 for Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.880 for Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool is calculated as follows: ( (97 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 108 Ratings = 4.88
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.614 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 63 number of registered child places is 12.6. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 12.6 = 0.714
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
