Prior to my child starting at the nursery the management team and all the staff were really supportive and flexible in helping me find the right balance as they are still relatively young. This continued on joining. It is clear that they have taken an interest in my family and are committed to supporting
us all as needs change. My child enjoys their time at nursery and the team that are directly involved work hard and give helpful feedback on progress. Communication both written and in person has always been timely and well considered and the app is a helpful way to track what has been going on during the day.

My children have been at Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool Nursery for over 6 months now and their experience just gets better and better. I love how all of the staff know both of my children even if they are not in their rooms. One of my children has an allergy and the systems for
his safety are incredible. He has his own colour coded set of cutlery and tableware and placemat. His allergy is known to the whole staff and his individual medical plan is updated regularly, checked and signed by all staff in the building and always verbally explained. I receive regular updates on the nursery app so I can see what my children are doing. Even if my child is reluctant to go to nursery on a Monday morning when we get to the building he is welcomed with love, care and understanding. I couldn't be more happy.

My son started with this nursery when they reopened in April and they have been amazing. My son was previously in a setting for 2 years and within the few months of being at Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery his development has come on immensely. The staff are so professional and so attentive to
the children, truly a great great nursery. I would recommend anyone wanting to find the perfect setting for their child to book a tour at the nursery. Although due to Covid I have not been allowed to have a “settling in” day with my son, he didn’t need this as he felt safe and happy whilst being at the nursery, I only wish I had known about this nursery sooner as he could have spent more time there before starting reception this coming September. The staff are incredible and all the children are so happy and excited whilst waiting to go in.

I returned from Maternity leave in May 2021 and had to drop my daughter off to Nursery at The Park. As most mummys know, you're feeling apprehensive, anxious and always questioning yourself. Our first day, luckily my daughter went in very calm and was happy to see so many toys and people! (especially
having been a lockdown baby!)
When I collected her, the team were nothing but fantastic from the moment I dropped her off, to the moment I collected her! I've had full detailed handovers on how her days have been. They've made me feel so settled and reassured. She has her bad days and the team are still honestly so great, I feel settled leaving her there, knowing she is in great hands. She takes part in great activities that I would never do at home. Since she has joined, in 3 short weeks she has learned to clap, wave and even say Mumma! Thank you to the staff at The Park, you've made my return as a working mum so much easier.

I couldn’t ask for a better nursery for my children! The staff who care for them always go above and beyond. They are caring, nurturing and wonderful teachers. My children always come home happy and tell me about the fun day they have had. I love that they have a lot of garden time and the nature walk
is my favourite feature of the nursery.

I can’t say enough about The Park Day Nursery teachers and staff. We’ve been with them the past almost 5 years now, as we have had all three of my boys go here since they were 1. They truly are a remarkable group of people and my boys just love them and love going here! I’m happy with the continued
progress and development that my boys make on a daily basis and can notice a huge difference from when they were home during lockdown to now back at nursery. The boys are always happy and excited from the moment I drop them off in the morning to when I collect them from nursery and share with me all they’ve done for the day. The classrooms and outdoor area are beautiful and bright, the food is good and nutritious. Most importantly, the reason this place is so special is because of the people; they care, are passionate, gentle, kind, nurturing... I could go on. These people are a huge part of mine and my children’s lives and I am so grateful for our relationship with The Park Day Nursery team.

My son joined The Park Nursery two years ago when he was 5 months old. I have received extreme support from the team and developed friendships with all the teachers and staff members. This is a very professional organisation and I couldn't be more grateful for their dedication. Nursery serves very healthy
and delicious food. Children spend lots of time in the garden and parents views and requests are always respected. My son always goes to nursery with a smile and he is happy when I am collecting him. What really makes the difference is that the teachers love their job and I can see how many of them develop their career and enjoy what they do. They have a positive approach and always look for best solutions. The nursery provides fantastic education and regular reviews of my son's progress. My favourite thing is a daily note which I receive when I collect my son from nursery. It tells me what and when he did, ate, slept and used the toilet. Really great nursery!

The Park is a very well run nursery. The staff are attentive and professional, and our daughter has always been happy there. Food and activities both appear very good and varied, although since COVID restrictions began we have not been able to visit inside. Daily reports keep us informed of what has
been going on that day. Particularly impressive is the tailored care provided for each child - if a parent requests for a certain emphasis to be given, all staff are informed and real efforts are made.

Both our boys have attended this nursery, so we have known The Park for more than 5 years. The children's progress has been amazing, the range of activities are very engaging for the little ones. The staff is caring, professional and understanding, and they take very good care of the children. The food
is really good, and the outside playground and garden are beautiful and with great equipment to keep the little ones happy and entertained. We have also got a lot of help and support during the potty-training phase. My kids were really happy here and they have made great friends so I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

We have started using the nursery since mid-Feb 2020 and I am very happy with the service we have received from the nursery so far. Staff, in general, are very friendly and supportive.
One little note from us is that it would be very helpful if the date can be written down on the daily performance
sheet we receive at the end of each day!

My daughter has been going to this nursery for the last 3 years. She is learning new things every day. We are very happy with her progress.
The nursery staff are very polite and understating. My daughter loves the staff, they are all awesome.
I hope The Park Day Nursery opens again as soon as possible
because the other one is too far for us.
Thank you for taking care of our child, it's much appreciated.

My husband and I are very happy with this nursery and knew it was the right place for our daughter from the minute we had the wonderful tour. She absolutely loves going to nursery and was desperate to get back after the Christmas holidays and extend her days per week. Our one year old also now runs
in smiling when he is greeted by his amazing key workers. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and passionate and clearly love the children. We feel our children are not only happy and progressing well, but are safe and well looked after. Thanks to their key workers in particular and all the fantastic staff that support them. We also can not speak highly enough of the current deputy manager, who goes above and beyond, and runs the nursery so efficiently and smoothly. She has done an incredible job particularly in the difficult current circumstances, in her management and keeping everyone safe. We would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for somewhere nurturing for their children.

My son has been attending Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool For 3 months. He absolutely loves it so far.
As my first born, I found it daunting leaving him for the first time but was reassured by the fact the staff have kept me updated with his daily activities and he always appears
very happy to go into the nursery in the morning with a smile on his face. I personally think every parent should enrol their 2-year-old here before preschool as I really think it has given my son the grounding he needs for future education.
The early year's foundation is followed but also tailored to the different strengths of each child. My son loves his key person and the communication journal she uses for him has been extremely helpful in clearing up any misinformation and allows me as a busy mum to let the nursery know any updates regarding my son as well as read how he has got on during the day. The manager is amazing so hands-on she even knows my son and my husband and me by name and she really runs the place as a home from home setting.

My daughter has been attending The Park Nursery since the beginning of October, the staff in the baby room have been extremely helpful settling her- it has definitely made mornings easier knowing she is happy to go.
I have had many conversations with staff where they have all been very welcoming,
they are very good at ensuring she has been able to do lots of messy activities and an excellent handover when she is picked up.
As an outdoors lover, The Park Nursery has lots of space and woodland for the children to explore.

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.494)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.494) out of 10 for Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.880 for Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool is calculated as follows: ( (97 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 108 Ratings = 4.88
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.614 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 63 number of registered child places is 12.6. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 12.6 = 0.714
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
