Kindred Hemel Hempstead is located in a lovely converted barn setting with a large outdoor area on a farm. The setting is 3 minutes from Hemel Hempstead Train Station and offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years.

Open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and offer funded places for three-year-olds and qualifying two-year-olds.

They have been incredibly supportive of me and my son. He enjoys everything about his time at nursery which is such a relief for me knowing he is being well looked after while I'm not with him, thank you.

We moved our 16-month-old daughter to Kindred in Hemel Hempstead from another, bigger nursery in another area in November of this year and could not be happier with the move. It's only been a couple of months but it's been the best decision. We were not very happy with the previous nursery and there
was a fear that they are all the same, but this move has proved that wrong!
The manager is always there for anything you need, she is passionate about the nursery, knows all the children and all the parents. The whole feel of the place is different to most nurseries I've seen - it's got a great family feel and everyone is close-knit, even the parents seem to know each other well. My daughter settled super quickly and it feels like she's at home there.
One member of the learning lane staff is brilliant and you can tell she has a great relationship with all the kids. I trust her with everything. My daughter adores her. Another member of the learning lane staff is also lovely. Highly, highly recommend this place! Super grateful for it!

The staff and management at the nursery are brilliant. What lets the nursery down is very poor communication and leadership from their head office.
When it came to replying back to several account queries, I never got any acknowledgement or any answers from the accounts department (based at the head
office).
The nursery is set in a lovely location and my child is very happy there.

Both my boys really enjoy their time at nursery, they get on well with all the staff and children and are excited to go in each day.
Management are very visible and anything raised with them is responded to very quickly.
The main selling point for the nursery for us was the outdoor space, lovely garden
and the trust land around it.
Only feedback we would have would be to have a better variation in food.

Overall, we find the experience very good. Our daughter enjoys her experiences here, she gets on with all the staff and children. We would definitely recommend this nursery.

Hello, I’m Amanda the Manager at Kindred Hemel Hempstead.


Having joined the nursery back in 2010 and completing my NVQ Level 3 as an apprentice, I have aspired to become Management and achieved this in 2022 when I became the Deputy Manager. After our manager of 23 years retired I stepped up to manager in August 2024.


I have an unwavering commitment to early childhood development to ensure we give the children the best start. We take pride in our outdoor provisions, which really enhance communication and emotional and physical skills.

Hi, I’m Jade the Deputy Manager at Kindred Hemel Hempstead.


I have been with the nursery since 2013 after completing my Level 3 qualification. The nursery is a home away from home and full of awe and wonder.


I was previously the Baby room leader for 10 years and have loved nothing more than nurturing and caring for the children, however, I'm ready to explore my new role supporting my Manager and the team.
